The park was great very clean and staff was wonderful. Campground is very close to Yellowstone west entrance. Playground and bounce pad are very cool the only negative I have is the pool gets pretty rowdy.

I wanted to switch my tent site, there was no “grassy area,” but they wouldn’t allow it, even though the other sites remained empty. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting; some of that could be mitigated by putting paper towels in the bathrooms so people can wipe stuff up. Yuck, do better. We only stayed one night, since I fell in the bathroom and broke my kneecap. I wasn't able to get in the camper some ended up staying in a local hotel. The KOA staff was WONDERFUL trying to get me in the backseat of our truck. Tiffany was the mastermind how to move me. Thank you all so very much. The campground is very wooded and nice. We plan revisit West Gate KOA Holiday. �

We loved staying here! My only complaints were the loud squawking ravens that made it hard to sleep on the morning and the ground squirrels that were a bit pesky. But very friendly people and great amenities and lots of things for our kids to do!

This is an impressive facility, just 7 minutes from the Yellowstone West entrance. We stayed at one of the “Tent Village” sites, which had a nice gravel site for our tent. The onsite store has anything you could need if you forgot something at home. My only feedback would be to consider some nonslip shower mats so there’s a place to stand while drying off that isn’t muddy from shoes /

Great place, super friendly, accommodating, though we didn't need much aside from the essentials. My only complaint would be the pots/pans and cheap plastic serving utensils. To still be using non-stick coated pans that are scratched and obviously putting PTFE into your food with all the information available was disappointing. Take a deposit if you HONESTLY cant afford to provide better. BYO-PANS

Great Koa near West Yellowstone, our cabin was a great size for our family of 5, the bathrooms was near the cabin which was nice! Loved the food offered morning and night.

Great place to stay. Close to NP. Although a bit dusty (ask my puppies paws) grounds are good. Bonus to have coffee and ice cream shop.

Nice campground and conveniently located near Yellowstone but way overpriced for a basic cabin. Not only that, the mattress is like a cardboard, unreal. Also, add a mailbox.

The staff was absolutely top shelf, friendly, helpful in getting a last minute site and settled into the campground. I was very surprised by the variety and availability of amenities. Scott and the grill staff were amazing and the food was very good and family price affordable. Del in the gift shop was informative and made me feel like a valued guest. Well done KOA

Check in was easy and the staff were very pleasant, but I would expect that for the price of $170 per night that the site would be level. We had to have our tires off the ground to be level with our 43 ft. fifth wheel.

The park was very clean, the staff helpful. The park was very quiet after 10:00 pm, the sites were all shaded and comfortable.

I am a senior lady on her maiden voyage. Everyone was very helpful in helping me overcome an obstacle with the sewer hose. I guess I've got the rest of it under my belt. Many thanks to the staff that helped me out. Now I've got it!

We arrived early and they had zero flexibility for us to stage camper while we went into the park. No refund or partial credit. My poor planning but there was plenty of room for us to stage the camper. We stayed at another campground and they had no problem with us dropping it off and coming back.

For the price you pay to stay here, you’d expect more. Laundry room was filthy with several broken machines, dumpsters overflowing and the camp store is HIGHLY price gouging all items. Trash in fire pits, cars speeding through the park all day/night. Staff would talk about guest complaints with one another and laugh (bathrooms so dirty that were unusable isn’t funny).

The camp is cute, our site was extremely Unlevel, also no one said anything about water pressure only being 20psi!!! We paid for full hook up and had to use our own on board water since our insta-hot won't work with less than 40psi, when we inquired about the issue they well thats the upper end all those sites only get 20psi. The location is good but the water was an issue for sure. L

The only negative I have is the condition of the bathrooms. They were never "really" clean. One day I went in to take a shower and there were clumps of hair in ever shower. The "newly" remodeled bathrooms were silly also. There was no mirror in there, it was very stark and cold in there.

We had everything we needed, clean restrooms/showers, a store, and our site with all the hookups! The site staff were super nice and willing to help if needed. Definitely would stay there again!

The park is too huge for very good management to happen. The bathroom was filthy, but it is used by so many, difficult to keep clean. Quiet hours were not maintained as a family continued to party and scream well past 10 pm. Very expensive price for filth and noise. I would not use this KOA again, and would not recommend it to anyone. Try to keep quiet hours quiet, and clean more.

Great site, great view, convenient to west entrance of Yellowstone. It was our home base for 7 days. The staff is very friendly. We were escorted to our site and he helped us back in. The site was clean. We did not use the amenities except the laundry on our last day there, because we were in the park everyday. Only gripe would be that laundry was a little pricey to wash.

We were tent camping and our site was great! There was a bit of a walk to the bathroom and there was no parking outside of the bathrooms. Everything was clean and the staff was welcoming!

The campground was tight and sites on top of each other with zero privacy. Staff was nice. Everything as expensive. This is the most we have ever paid for a campground, and we had zero views, outdated/ gross bathrooms, and overpriced shop. The campground would be fine for $80/night, not $145.

Space was clean and well manicured. Utilities all worked very well. Staff seemed over worked, might need more help as they offer alot of different activities. Showers and bathrooms at the main lodge were very clean and updated. Could serve there coffee shack coffee till a later time of 9:30, and I wasn't the only guest thinking that.

The Yellowstone Park / West Gate KOA is a beautiful campground with RV, cabin, and tent sites. Our patio site featured mature pine trees, a swing, and a picnic table. Amenities included an indoor pool, dog park, camp store, coffee shop, and ice cream stand. Its location just minutes from Yellowstone's West Entrance made it an ideal base for exploring the park. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

The park is truly one of the gems of the national parks system. Allow at least two full days to explore all of the wonders. A must go for everyone.
