Bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Lots of amenities available. Only complaint I could make is the cabin mattress pads were bit thin, but we knew it wouldn't be great.

It was nice, Nice store, family friendly. My one suggestion would be this, There is one shower stall a little wider, was this suppose to be for handicapped people?? I am not handicapped, but I have balance problems Itwould be nice to have some hand grips in the shower, Same with bathroom stalls. Thank you, Vickie Danton

This is a great KOA in many ways: nice store, good amenities, WIFI that works, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a back in site along the road side of the park, and of course the road noise from 65 mph vehicles was loud More concerning is the danger if a car leaves the highway. There is no barrier, not even a low curb, and only a few yards separating the road from the camp sites. Scary!

Friendly fast check in had a wonderful peaceful relaxing stay as always!!

The customer service was top notch . The camp site itself Was not good. There was about 25 gophers at any given time in the site and about 10 holes in the ground asking for a broken ankle.

Great place to stay!

Nice, large KOA. Bikes and peddle carts for fun in the campground. Large indoor pool with lots of kids when we were there. Friendly and helpful staff. Our site had sewer connections although we were only able to reserve one without. Close to West entrance to Yellowstone. Definitely would stay here again.

The rate was reasonable given the area and accommodation availability. The staff in the office was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had an end spot that was loud - especially for five nights, with all the traffic, carts going by, and people coming and going to the restroom. The ladies restroom was not very clean. Our spot was level with a nice picnic table, trees, and some grass.

Perfect place to stay outside of Yellowstone's West Gate. Nice set up, great base camp. Bathrooms need re-doing and wooden floor mats would go along way for comfort, too avoid stepping on muddy floors.Don't miss the BEST FUDGE EVER!!!! (made fresh in-house by their own staff candy maker). I think all KOA's should buy the six types of fudge made by this genius to sell at their stores.

Loved it!!! We will definitely come back again! So close to Yellowstone!

This was our first time staying at KOA, and we absolutely loved it. One night, a small cabin for a family of 4. It's like a small town with tons of things to do for kids, and all necessary amenities nearby. Watching owls fly around at dusk was the coolest thing. We highly recommend this site, very close to the town of West Yellowstone and the national park entrance.

Family had a fun time exploring Yellowstone and resting in the KOA facilities. Kids loved the pool and playground. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful!

Spaces are way too close. We were worried about the fire pits right next to our awning, so we never put it out. Noise from neighbors often went in part 10 pm. Bathrooms were not cleaned very well. Mornings and evenings showers were gross with hair all over. Staff were very friendly but not helpful with WiFi issues. We never had it the whole time we stayed.

It was in the price range I needed and it was pet friendly. They even made arrangements for my late arrival.

The cabins had no cushion to the mattress. Like laying on a board. Nothing like the grey bull. Paid the same price. Should get half refunded at west gate.

Fantastic place

This is very nice campground. Very scenic and comfortable. It offers everything you need and great staff my only complaint is the showers. This is a huge campground and hundreds using bathhouse. They need be cleaned several times a day not just once a day.

There really wasn’t much to do at the campground, especially for older kids. A pond for fishing would be ideal since it’s in Montana.

This was our 3rd stay at the West Gate KOA. Check in was quick and smooth, hook ups were easily accessible. The new paw pen sites are a great addition for campers with dogs, I wish we had known they were an option when booking our stay. The playground was revamped since our last stay, lots of options for young kids, but the mini golf is gone, so it leaves very little for older teenage kids to do.

Friendly office staff & close to West entrance to Yellowstone. Needs bigger sign saying “Westgate” to properly identify park , due to another KOA just a few miles away , on same road.

Site was very difficult to get my 40 foot 5th wheel in. We had any couple we were with hurt and phone to office said closed. Camp rules were not enforced. Condition of roads were poor for the price of $180.00 per night.

The park was great very clean and staff was wonderful. Campground is very close to Yellowstone west entrance. Playground and bounce pad are very cool the only negative I have is the pool gets pretty rowdy.

The showers need a lot of improvement. The ones by the office are disgusting!

I wanted to switch my tent site, there was no “grassy area,” but they wouldn’t allow it, even though the other sites remained empty. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting; some of that could be mitigated by putting paper towels in the bathrooms so people can wipe stuff up. Yuck, do better. Staff extremely friendly though, really great location. Wood doesn’t burn, a little kindling would hel

This is always a good one! Lots to do in and around the well kept camp. I’ve stayed before and I’ll stay again.

We only stayed one night, since I fell in the bathroom and broke my kneecap. I wasn't able to get in the camper some ended up staying in a local hotel. The KOA staff was WONDERFUL trying to get me in the backseat of our truck. Tiffany was the mastermind how to move me. Thank you all so very much. The campground is very wooded and nice. We plan revisit West Gate KOA Holiday.

Great campground!!

Loved our time at the KOA. Lots of things to do at the KOA and at Yellowstone.

We loved staying here! My only complaints were the loud squawking ravens that made it hard to sleep on the morning and the ground squirrels that were a bit pesky. But very friendly people and great amenities and lots of things for our kids to do!

Space was clean and well manicured. Utilities all worked very well. Staff seemed over worked, might need more help as they offer alot of different activities. Showers and bathrooms at the main lodge were very clean and updated. Could serve there coffee shack coffee till a later time of 9:30, and I wasn't the only guest thinking that.

The Yellowstone Park / West Gate KOA is a beautiful campground with RV, cabin, and tent sites. Our patio site featured mature pine trees, a swing, and a picnic table. Amenities included an indoor pool, dog park, camp store, coffee shop, and ice cream stand. Its location just minutes from Yellowstone's West Entrance made it an ideal base for exploring the park. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

The park is truly one of the gems of the national parks system. Allow at least two full days to explore all of the wonders. A must go for everyone.
