This is a very nice campground, clean and beautiful. Showers were a little dirty and husband said men's bathroom was a mess. But overall, a nice place to camp. The staff was very friendly and helpful as our truck battery died while we were there. Maintenance staff came and jump started it for us so we could go into town and buy a new battery. Laundry facility was good.

The check-in staff was friendly. We stayed in a 2 room cabin and it was exactly what we were expecting. The play facilities for the kids was awesome. As was the on-site ice cream stand. Our only complaint were the neighbors who were noisy until almost midnight.

This was the worst KOA experience we have ever had. We were put in a tent site at the front of the campground on one of the main thoroughfares for the campground with vehicles coming in at all hours of the night, quiet hours were not enforced and there were people walking around and talking loudly/laughing/ slamming doors until the early hours of the morning. Will not be staying here again.

Last minute reservation. Got a cabin without a/c but I didn’t ask. A screen door would be great for air flow. The shower was filthy. Not just from the days use. The shower curtain had yellow scum up it & looked like it wasn’t changed out or cleaned in months. The shower itself had the same yellow scum all around the base. The floor itself was filthy & I cleaned it myself before walking on it.

The cabin was safe and clean. There was power and outside water- but no refrigerator, microwave, or any pillows or blankets like at other KOAs. I suppose they get such a volume of guests they can't accommodate the work of cleaning those things. The biggest issue was the complete lack of any first aid or local medical care. My son sprained his thumb badly. No bandages or ice packs or anything!

Gave me a different spot than I paid on line for. Apon arriving iI had to spend a half hour explaining why they did that in stead of just settingup after a long trip. Also did not charge me the price of the internet. They charged more. It is a bait and switch.

Great location. Spots were easy to get in/out of. Very clean facility. The shop was super convenient. Well run and all staff was incredibly friendly.

Our lot was unlevel and totally ill prepared for rainfall beyond normal. The showers need something on the floor so that you have a chance of keeping your feet dry after your shower.

We had a cabin with a view and an RV site. We enjoyed the playground and kids activities such as bike/scooter parade, tie dye, and mining over July 4th week. The staff were friendly and ensured we had a really nice time at this KOA.

Staff was helpful in relocating us to a better site that fit our camper, which we were thankful for. I was looking forward to the bison burger dinners like they had a few years ago, but they are not having them anymore. It was a great place to stay.

The camp site was on a steep slope. They had some broken up concrete next to our camp which I had to gather and place under our picnic bench to level the bench. I will stay at the other near by KOA next time I visit Yellow Stone.

Friendly staff, great location, clean restrooms and showers. Very large park, lots of kids things to do, only a short distance to Yellowstone.

This was a great park, even with the park being full it was nice and we were able to relax and enjoy our short stay. The staff was amazing and very friendly. If you are in the area I would suggest this KOA for your stay.

We had a great stay. Last minute get a way for a family from Belgrade. Guy who closed the pool at night was fun, great sense of humor, kind. Front desk staff accommodating and kind. Site was clean, bathrooms clean and stocked. Only negative was breakfast on Sunday morning. In years past they have had a pancake breakfast with griddle cakes, music, etc. Yesterday was gross $8.00 microwave sandwich.

We arrived late due to some unexpected travel issues. We called the office and they left the information for us with the other late check-ins (thanks!) Our campsite was very clean when we arrived. We were only there a short time so we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities, but we will definitely be considering this campsite for future adventures. Thanks again!

The staff was great. They were so helpful. They put us at ease when parking our 45 foot RV Toyhauler- in a very tight spot. We had 3 campsites and 2 cabins. We had a group of 32 parents children spouses and 19 grandchildren. We had not all been together since 2002. We had the best time of our lives. Facilities were very nice and clean. The staff was so helpful answering our questions.

Grandkids loved the pool, really nice campground, Word to the wisw, if your are going into the park, head in about 6 AM, otherwise be prepared to with an hour minimum

We had a premium patio site over the 4th of July and enjoyed it. It was busy, the campground was very clean. The indoor pool was nice. The laundry was busy but my wife got in on the free s’mores while she waited My only complaint is another fenced in camp K9 is needed. Ground squirrels were fun to watch.

The KOA was great. Very clean grounds, staff was all super friendly and helpful. The location was great only about 15 minutes to the west gate. My only complaint was the restrooms. I've stayed at several KOAs and other campgrounds and I've never used such a dirty bathroom. It was beyond gross. Hopefully the owner will revamp them at some point

We had a wonderful stay. The bath house needed some major attention. Everyday we were there by the afternoon the women’s bathroom would be out of soap and the showers were disgusting! That is my only gripe. We did have a wonderful stay.

We appreciated the full hookup for our trailer. But where we camped we didn't appreciate how our neighbors were packed tight together when there was plenty of room to spread trailers apart. The bathrooms definitely need an upgrade. But we expected it, this KOA is in a good location and is used alot and had plenty of things to do for kids.

Campground was great. Had everything we needed. My only problem was with other campers. Our firewood was stolen, a woman wasn't paying attention to her dog, it ran after my 5 yr old son and then bit me on the ankle. Unfortunately due to the type of campers, i would not recommend is camp to family/friends.

What a great place to stage a Yellowstone adventure! When we got to the campground, it was raining and there was a mix up with my reservation. Rebecca was more than wonderful, and she went above and beyond to make some changes that allowed us to get into a site that would work for us. It was a sad day when we had to leave. Thank you again Rebecca and West Gate KOA!

Very good care and condition of all facilities. Excellent location. Our site had a fantactic view. Very quiet. All season indoor pool. Great for kids too.

Our site (424) was very tight. From our camper, no less than 6 RVs could look into our back door. The young staff were perfunctory. The Title “West Yellowstone” gives the erroneous impression that it’s close to Yellowstone, whereas it is 6 miles away and there is no Uber, taxi or shuttle. When we arrived all the men’s toilets were blocked. Very expensive and noisy.

The staff was lovely but the camp site being directly next to the super busy, noisy road, made our stay miserable. It was incredibly loud all day and all night. I would never stay here again. It was not relaxing, it was stressful and ruined our vacation.

Great location near west entrance to YNP. Lots of shady trees. Friendly staff. There were too many ground squirrels, ankle breaker holes in space. Be careful.

1. Please do something about the constant stink in the men’s bathroom/shower (near the office). 2. At cabin 142, change the porch lightbulb to a bulb much dimmer; not so strong. 3. Get rid of the need for a card to access the cabin. It’s a pain the door constantly locks behind you when you step out just briefly. 4. Isn’t $4 for a cup of coffee a bit expensive? This is not Starbucks.

Been here several times and it's always been good. Only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is it's very expensive. The prices are obviously due to the location next to Yellowstone, but IMO it's too much. They always seem to be pretty much sold out though!
