We stayed in the cabins and for the price it was they were nasty. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Poop on the seat, hairs all over the shower & toilet, and the floor has never been cleaned. I thankfully had Clorox wipes and they were black when I cleaned one spot. Our neighbors were very upset as well. We have camped with a camper in the past, and it was a better experience.

Our site was very uneven for a camper and the coax cable hook up was broken. Informed front desk, but nobody came out and looked at it. The campground was extremely clean and very well taken care of other than that. Site number 575.

oh my gosh, the staff was super friendly!!! From Del checking us in, Sam helping with some issues, and seeing Abbey just about everywhere we looked, always smiling....we had a fabulous time! Wish the pool was warmer but the kids didn't mind as much. Would very much come back again. Lovely time.

Leo is a rude person, I called two different times and he gave me an attitude both times. I called to confirm my information and reservation and he was trying to rush and it sounded like he was annoyed he had to take my call and help me. Lady who checked me in, was very nice. Two girls with the same name, start with B really nice. The cabana was dusty by the window, showers and bathrooms dirty .

Nice family park. Was not impressed with the showers, they were small and the drain was half way between the shower and changing area so you would be standing in water to get dressed. I wasn't able to get wifi the whole time I was there. I thought they were a little pricey for what I got on my site. I have gotten a better lot for less money at other campsites.

This is the 4th KOA that we stayed at in 3 states. It was the most welcoming and cleanest of them all. I would recommend this KOA to friends.

Very nice campground. We stayed in a cabin and would suggest giving them more places to hang towels ect and more shelving. Also wish they would provide more trash bags and toiletries.

Wonderful park, awesome people, awesome sights from our site BUT very dusty… staff and campers speeding past site kicking up dust… need to water the gravel or pave the road.

The park itself with the views is great. The trees/green and the space between the cabins and RV's is perfect. Pool and the deck is great after a day of driving in the park. We very much missed the possibility of renting sheets and bedding. We are from Europe and cant bring all the stuff. We are used to KOA's who do rent it. We have to buy it in town. We also missed a fridge that some KOA'S have.

We came from Seattle WA , staff if friendly but when we went to the pool it was cloudy and slimy and slippery bathrooms where moldy and dirty in the main shower area the AdA shower head was broken and it there was hair in the drain and mold every where the toilets and garbage cans in the stalls were never cleaned in the 4 day stay we were there

We had a wonderful stay. The campground was so clean, very friendly staff, great entertainment, good breakfast and a big store. Thank you West Gate KOA.

Terrible experience. Misleading price at time of reservation. Exceptionally overpriced for semi-clean cabin, uncomfortable beds, broken amenities and poor service. Missing info left us unprepared and staff was unhelpful. Toilet backed up with no after-hours help. I was signed up for KOA membership without consent. Despite 11am checkout, received a loud knock around 8am asking if we were leaving.

We had a great stay. The location to Yellowstone was amazing, an easy drive into the park. From an amenities perspective this campground had great options for the kids to play: pool, gaga ball pit, play structure, etc etc. Sites were clean, bathrooms/showers were clean; would definitely stay again.

They stay was good. One thing that needs to be done is the shower curtain. They need to be washed. They were super gross.

Very happy with our stay. Our campsite was right next to bathrooms which were clean, always stocked with toilet paper, and had hot running water. The employees I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for exploring Yellowstone. Only a 5 minute drive to the park and we liked staying outside of town. The kids loved the jumping pad and pool and the beds were comfortable

Very nice campground with play ground, jump pad and pool. My kids love the playground and jump pad. There is nice washroom, shower and dish washing station. Location is 7 minutes drive to West Yellowstone gate and town. Thus, easy access to all the shops, restaurants.. etc. Staffs are very friendly and nice. Highly recommend this campground!

I love the convenience of the KOA and all the activities. However, the bathrooms were dirty and didn’t seem like they were being cleaned on a regular basis. We stayed for 2 nights. Maybe they have a schedule? Not sure.

Bathrooms and showers were dirty. The fire pit on our spot was not user friendly due to its location near the concrete pad and the slope of the lot!

ALL bathroom and shower facilities are awful, dirty and gross - tiolet that doesn't flush, a clogged sink, mold and hair in every shower; no paper towels so that people can wipe down the counter - so it was always soapy and wet.. and hairy. The staff drive golf carts through the property at 6 AM causing dust clouds and noise: one was a gas engine that smoked and smelled.

This is a very nice park. There are many things to do at the park and it is not far from Yellowstone. The beds in our cabin were very creeky, so everytime you moved the bed made noise. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

My family and I stayed here last week during our visit to Yellowstone (: it was great. Everyone was super kind and helpful. The general store has almost everything you could potentially forget and need during your stay lol. Very convenient. I will definitely stay here during our next visit in 2026. Thanks guys!

One of the worst sites we have ever stayed in and was supposed to be a deluxe. We were on a side of a hill,had a horrible time trying to get level. Our steps couldn’t be put down since the site was narrow and we were trying to be level. People parked in the middle of the road early morning running cars and making noise. Only positive was how close to the entrance. Campground needed updating

We were not impressed with our camp site. We were placed in site 444 which is at the far edge of the campground. It was constant traffic from campers and staff. Couldn’t even enjoy sitting outside as the dust was so horrible. We have a son with allergies so he couldn’t be outside much at all. You’d think for $100/night there’d be some sort of dust mitigation. We asked to be moved but were

Space was clean and well manicured. Utilities all worked very well. Staff seemed over worked, might need more help as they offer alot of different activities. Showers and bathrooms at the main lodge were very clean and updated. Could serve there coffee shack coffee till a later time of 9:30, and I wasn't the only guest thinking that.

The Yellowstone Park / West Gate KOA is a beautiful campground with RV, cabin, and tent sites. Our patio site featured mature pine trees, a swing, and a picnic table. Amenities included an indoor pool, dog park, camp store, coffee shop, and ice cream stand. Its location just minutes from Yellowstone's West Entrance made it an ideal base for exploring the park. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

The park is truly one of the gems of the national parks system. Allow at least two full days to explore all of the wonders. A must go for everyone.
