To much noise people coming in set up tents at midnight banging on tent stakes dusty road and it was really expensive compared to all othe koa I been at and I’m a Koa rewards member I wasn’t happy but all the staf were really nice but the price and noises kept us awake so all I was not happy with this camp ground

We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect. The only problem we had that at check-in was we did not receive our key and had to go back in to get it. Never received a list of the different activities going on at the campground. The price of the firewood was really high and the firewood was not split. The location was great only a few minutes from the town of West Yellowstone and the west entrance,

Very Nice

Pros: Love the site we had, shady, full hookups, nice store, nice staff, nice pool, dog park. Cons: some roads poor gravel/potholes-=mud/when dry dust blows when driving, need new gravel! Bathrooms cold and someone kept leaving ladies outer door open. Sometimes toilets clogged and no toilet tissue/staff responsive. We enjoyed stay and would def return.

Very Nice

Park staff were very friendly and helpful. Good pitches and RV facilities. Toilets and showers poor and inadequate for a site of this size. We will not return until this aspect is significantly improved

The campground is extremely family-friendly and clean. The layout is done very well and I enjoyed my stay immensely. I am not a camper. I usually tent camp, but this time my sister was visiting with her fifth wheel. I was very surprised at how nice and clean this camp ground was. The best part was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful especially the desk employees.

Most of the staff were great and friendly. The problem comes from were my tent site was located and trying to get a good night sleep. The first night the security guard would have loud conversations with guests and people looking to find sites. The next night at 5 am guests started their diesels tucks up to warm up to leave and pulled up next to my tent site to dump there gray water.

We stayed three nights while we visited Yellowstone.

Very friendly and welcoming staff!!! Kids had a blast using the jump pad, Gaga ball pit, and swim pool each day. We will be back soon. Thank you!

The bathrooms and showers were not as clean as I needed to be stayed out of toilet paper for more than 24 hours in . I overheard other people complaining to the lady in the gift store and she says maintenance will get to it as soon as possible. It just wasn’t attended to as needed for as many people that were using them.

Very nice stay here. Clean sites great amenities at site. Definitely would stay here again.

Sites were flat. Sonia was hospitable, great smile. Folks were very accommodating. Great location! Bathrooms were clean.

The site and park were nice and well maintained. There was only 20lbs of water pressure which is unusable for RVs. We complained to maintenance and was told the entire park was like that. We had to keep filling our tank and using the rv water pump. It was very inconvenient and took a long time. For the high price of the KOA, there should be adequate water pressure
Jun 09, 2024
The tent sites could be in better locations- very noisy placed right by the rv’s and cabins. Other KOA’s have had better tent set ups in terms of space at the spot as well as tent “clusters” versus the somewhat random/ cramped in spots at this location

Such a wonderful campground. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Great shop, plenty of things to do in and out of the campsite. Conveniently located to West Gate of Yellowstone. Sites were cramped and wet gravel made it difficult to park and set our fifth wheel. Other than that, would definitely recommend.

Very clean and friendly employees. Close to getting into Yellowstone.
Jun 09, 2024
Facilities were clean, staff was very nice and helpful and there was actually plenty of staff so I didn’t have to go find someone to help me with any of my families questions or needs!! It was also not very far from the town or the west gate of yellow stone. I love the bounce pad and the pool for the kids to get out all their extra energy before coming back to the camper!!!

Huge park with lots log amenities like coffee shop, pancake breakfast and in door pool. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Will absolutely stay there again!

My grandkids enjoys our stays so much, nice faculty and staff are awesome!

The park is great, lots of employees buzzing around on carts to keep things in order, they pick up your garbage everyday which is handy. The site was okay, but somewhat short for our 28' trailer and tow vehicle, we had to park at right angles to the trailer and sometimes you need to move your tow vehicle so the neighbor across the way can maneuver into their site. The wi-fi was fantastic.

It was great
Jun 09, 2024
The Wi-Fi was nonexistent for the most part. The staf was great . The campground could use some help.

They were very helpful when we needed a larger cabin. Everything was so great and the people were very friendly. The breakfast seemed too pricey, especially since people staying there can make their own. Just thinking if it was cheaper we would have eaten there.

This was our second KOA we have visited. It was a great experience. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is awesome!

Couple comments. 1, $12 for 3 sticks of wood, $4/stick is insane. That’s egregious. 2, we were in spot 330, light pole 20 killed any potential campfire star gazing at night. Those poles need to shut off at 9:30. 3, speed limit is 5, your workers on the golf carts go way over that. All else was great!

For almost $200 a night I expect a little more then a wooden box that has holes in the walls that bugs crawled through daily, the gap under the front door was so wide that in order to keep the cabin warm enough to be bare able, we had to shove towels under the door. The bathrooms were so gross, they stunk like an outhouse, had broken toilets and showers, were out of toilet paper almost every day..

Everyone was so kind and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The cabins were nice and our kids loved the bunk beds. The outdoor kitchen plus washing basins were great after camping out. Kids loved the pool and store too!

Very friendly staff but there was one thing!!! There was a family that pulled in and had 3 VERY LARGE DOGS! And they left them in there camper when they left! And the DOGS barked continuously, scratching on the door!!! We told you at the office but evidently you did nothing because it continued!!!!!! Not good for other campers or the dogs!!! Hopefully you can do better next time!

We completed a four night stay, using this as our base camp for exploring West Yellowstone, Yellowstone NP, and Virginia City. Super convenient location, just minutes away from West Yellowstone townsite and the park gates. Nice mature trees and a great mix of big and small rigs so it doesn't feel rundown nor pretentious. It's a KOA so it is like the McDonald's of campgrounds; you sort of know what you are going to get. Yes, the sites are fairly close but we never felt claustrophobic. The staff were excellent and everyone we interacted with were super friendly and helpful, both in person and on the phone. The only negative thing you can say is that it is expensive, but that will apply to everything in the vicinity of Yellowstone. I never thought I would pay $85-$100 USD for a campsite, but I did. It wouldn't hurt so much if the campground was your destination, but when it is really just a place to come back to to sleep, it makes it tough to swallow. That said, the campground was wonderful. Originally opened in 1977 (according to what we found online) and you can feel the tradition of family camping trips when you are here. I would have loved to have been able to check out the old abandoned school on the land next door and we were so busy with other activities we never got a chance to see if we could get permission to venture beyond the No Trespassing signs. Absolutely would stay here again on a future trip to Yellowstone.

Full hookup, trees everywhere, and friendly staff. Definitely one of the best KOAs I've visited. I'd recommend this one and look forward to coming back. A pleasant experience for a trip to Yellowstone.

Great location, close the Yellowstone Westgate and great service and shop. The site we stayed at wasn't ideal for our fifth wheel size, probably really needed a longer site by about 2-3 feet but we made it work. Our fifth wheel sank into the wet gravel even with the leveling blocks put down. Other than that, everything was great.
