We loved our stay, river front camping, very happy with the site size. Bathrooms were very clean, staff were always helpful. We will be back for sure!

we had T3 tent site that had a wasp nest. could drive on the site, we had to walk in, an d virtually no flat spot on it. I didn't see the value of $ 70, more $ 30. The shower toilet combination is unique, and We didn't understand why the lady gave us a walk in site, when the camping was only half full

We love staying here every summer. The river location is amazing. The campground is well kept. Our only suggestion is the two stall bathroom could use some maintenance as it t is getting a bit run down.

We had a blast. So much to do for our big family. We got the perfect spot between the river & the park where we got the best breeze. Will def be coming again next year!

Nice setting on the river and very close to Winthrop. Great restroom shower area and the tent sites were fairly large and shaded.

Ended up leaving a day early the bees were horrible. Got attacked any time we tried to cook and there was absolutely no traps out or anything. Extremely disappointed. So much chlorine in the pool it was burning our skin. This used to be my favorite KOA. Not anymore!

Plenty of activities for families! We appreciated that you put all of us next to each other (3 campsites), located right on the river tubing river, have great activities for the kids (rock mining, “train” riding, a little park area, and a pool), enjoyed the free concert, clean bathrooms and showers, and the office vibe. We stay for a night or two at Winthrop KOA every summer and are always very pleased with the campground. Staff are friendly and helpful, bathrooms/showers are always clean, and campsites and cabins are always great. Love this place!

Amazing staff very accommodating. Only thing I would change is description on the beach front sand areas . There was no sand at all, just dirt and tree roots . Wasn’t very comfy for tent sleeping . Was disappointed with that . But staff made up for it with their cleanliness of the restrooms and showers , super clean cooking area . We loved it , next time we will get a grass area

We have been camping at the Winthrop KOA for over 20 years. We have noticed a few changes we don't particularly love since the change of hands. Some don't matter as much as others. The office/store closes very early (5:00 pm) with not as much to offer and the pool is very, very murky, it was open but not appealing to take your family in and feel safe that it was properly taken care of.

The park is very clean. Bathrooms are very nice. Some of the sites do slope a little but it is what it is. Having the river right next to the park is sweet. Go upstream and raft back to the park.

I love this KOA. The folks who run the campground are always friendly and helpful. The grounds and washrooms are clean and very well kept up. Lots of options for activities and easy river access. You can walk or drive into town. I've camped here many times over the years and will again. Great location!

Everything is great. I wish they would/could bring back the shuttle bus. The only bad thing is the paper towels in the bathrooms, they were awful.

Great campsite. The sites were large and there was a lot of activities for families with children. More showers would be a plus. Other than that it was a great stay! We will definitely be back!

Could have been five stars. I put in the notes I travel with a cat. The person on the phone was told I traveled with a cat and my daughter was going to meet me with her cat. I was put in a campsite across the way from the Camp K9. One of the office people was able to change that and saved the visit. The other demerit is no posted office or cleaning times. Great place, not enough space to fully say

Camp hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Friendly and fast check-in. Super clean campground with so many amenities! We will be back!

Absolutely perfect setting! My friends and I lucked out with a spot right on the river for our race weekend. Bathrooms and showers were great; they just could've used one last clean in the evening and one more roll of toilet paper- but hey are camping right!?

This was our second camping trip at KOA. We opted for a tent site again next to Methow River. The staff was welcoming, and the grounds were immaculate. The heated individual shower/toilet rooms was a welcome amenity, and we appreciated how kid and dog-friendly the campground was.

Beautiful campground, right by the river. Well kept. Staff were friendly. Will definitely come again! The only caution is they are serious about the "2pm earliest checkin time". Friendly about it when I arrived 1 hour early & asked if they could accommodate me (no big deal), but the policy will seem needless to you if you arrive a bit early and everything there is otherwise quiet.

A beautiful maintained KOA! The set up is very organized & easy to follow. The river view is very calming. I especially liked the dog park, clean bathrooms & smell of pine trees. This KOA made it a point to have privacy “walls” that blended in the surrounding! The staff were very friendly and approachable.

Campground was basically empty but they still put us right beside another family with young crying kids. Use some common sense!

My friends and I stayed for an overnight before a trail run nearby and had a great visit. Our cabin was clean, warm, and quiet. The bathrooms were a delight, clean, heated, and comfortable.
