Clean and quiet. Beautiful campground, while walking my dog, after dark, we came across a deer, don't know which one was more surprised, my dog or the deer.

No TV. Cold water showers. The rate was WAY too high for these shortcomings.

The Water and Electric that we used at our site were good. We opted for a site without sewer thinking we might use the shower available there for a better site. Went to use the bathroom there and both the shower room and the toilet room were dirty with stuff in the shower and lots of spider webs and bugs, no paper towels to dry hands and multiple tiles on the floor were loose.

Great stay! Very few people in the park. Did just water and electric and didn't connect the water. Woman in the office was friendly.

Very clean facilities, very helpful staff, even though they were closing for the winter the day we left. Even got some bargains at the store. Filled my propane bottle. Very pleasant experience!

We reserved a Deluxe Patio/Hot Tub space. Hot tub leaked to empty. The maintenance people worked on it, however there were not able to fix it over the course of our 3 night stay. The roads are dusty in August, perhaps more watering would help. Gravel or pavement would be ideal The swimming pool was a bonus on the hot summer days. However, the water was so dirty/cloudy, several toys were lost.

The bathrooms were clean, spacious, and most importantly heated as the weather was cold out. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Really our only issue was that the sewage port was a little high relative to our campsite so it was difficult to drain.

Interesting that although there were very few campers, we were mostly clumped closely together, and in our case, farthest away from fully functional showers.

Location was good. Way too dark at night time. Some lights needed for safety walking the dog, etc. Sites fair- we parked on grass. Disappointed for the heftier price:(

Really beautiful campground nestled next to a river and the nearby town is super quaint and looks like it’s straight out of a Western movie! Nice facilities and two sites with privately fenced areas with above-ground jacuzzis were a fun touch although I bet they are always booked! Store was out of stock on some staples like TP and such so we had to get to a hardware store. Fun stop!

Nice, clean facility, right on the river. Would have liked it better if not for the $10 fee for checking in an hour early, despite an almost empty campground when we arrived.

Overall the campground seemed very clean. It is conveniently located near the cool little town of Winthrop and a bit of a drive to North Cascades. The amenities, especially the restrooms, showers and laundry were among the best I have experienced and this was my 183rd campground across the country.The site itself was very average, a combination of sparse ‘grass’ and dirt/mud but oh well.

May not come back to any koa after our friends and us reservered spots at same time and was told we have slots 15 and 16. However once we got there another camper was in slot 16. After finding out that an additional 27 dollars is due to lock in a site never mind that we already paid 78 dollars down a computer redirected camper sites. The place was empty! Think I will stay with state parks.

Have stayed several times, and will be back. Nice setting, and friendly staff. Love the private, individual bathrooms. It's a beautiful spot along the river. It's a pity that on my last stay they didn't renew the toilet paper in any of the bathrooms, until prompted. But, like I said, we'll be back.

Beautiful campground and location next to river was serene! The only disappointment was the dog run. Way too small and no grass. With half the park guests bringing their dogs, it is something they should look into improving.

My husband and I came with our dogs for a relaxing night by the river. We walked to pizza and were pleased to find the pool still open and at a great temperature. We checked in with a very nice gentleman that was very helpful. It is a great place to stay!

Had a good stay. Only problem we had was the sewer drain was not level. This made it impossible to completely drain our holding tanks.

We arrived after the office closed but they had all the information regarding our camp site at the entrance with directions to our site and the key to the gate for the super site we rented which was amazing. We loved the gated privacy of this site. We would highly recommend. The campground was very clean and plenty to do in Winthrop. We have already recommended to friends.

Amazing campground! Peaceful, well maintained, and a ton of things to do for the kids (hanging out at the stream, playing in the pool, checking out trails, touring winthrop, etc).

Was given a very unlevel site when many sites were open. Laundry needs repair. Staff was nice and bathrooms were clean.

Was clean, nice grassy space, shady too, employees friendly. Bathroom shower smaller than my trailer but was clean and plenty hot water. We paid for least expensive parking space, was not level and a grave adjacent to space. Wi-Fi but didn’t work at our spot.

Very dry. Hot tub was dirty, fenced area at our campsite was dirty and dry, nothing had been watered and trees in fenced area were dying, we had to water it ourselves.

The location and our site were lovely. However the laundry was filthy and obviously been that way for some time. Neither of the 2 showers closest to us worked. One had no hot water and the other's rod and curtain fell on my husband nearly causing injury. We were told the third was nice but not warned about the others.

We love this campground. The location is great and for the most part well maintained . We do see the need for some improvements. The pool needs some repairs and more frequent cleaning. Also there are some trees that need trimming and some that need to be removed to avoid damage to trailers if they fall. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Front staff and ground screws were very friendly and helpful. Pool was clean. The “Jump Pad” was old and failing with multiple patches and gaping holes. Grandkids were disappointed that it really didn’t work. Overall a nice campground.

We loved this park. The spots were very spacious and the river access was amazing. The staff were very friendly. The town of Winthrop is very cute and lots to do in the area.

We have stayed at KOAs from PA to Washington and have never been charged a fee for our 2 chihuahuas. They charged us $10/dog for a stay of 14 hours. The campground was ok, but not anything special. The bathhouse near us only had 2 shower/bathrooms and 1 family shower/bathroom. This campground was more expensive and less impressive then the other 15 or so KOAs we have stayed at on our trip.

The trees are getting bushy in some sites not allow ing the slides and awning to be used. I was accommodated by being allowed to move sites. The fire smoke was so bad I left a day early

Nice place to stay but, the store had very little in it to shop from. Small playground with little to entertain the kids. The pool was great and convenient access to the river. Just not quite the same as other KOA's we have stayed at, where there are lots of activities for the kids.

We had booked in March a 2 day stay in August. Our confirmation booking confirmed our request for a full hook-up site. Upon arrival, we were given a site with water and power hook-ups but no sewer hook-up. They said a mistake had been made and offered us a rebate for one of the nights. We were told they had experienced a computer problem that had affected other guests as well. Disappointing.

Never seen a KOA so poorly managed. Store closed early. Had to clean up our site before we could park. 1 bathroom/shower for whole camp. The only thing that was green were the weeds. Add that to the employee trailers that looked like a homeless camp and you get zero stars.

Nice, quiet, near the river, but no feasible river access. Sites 9 and 17 have private patios with hot tubs.
