It was early season and some things were still in the opening process but this is a beautiful park.

I understand there is new ownership, but quite a few things were not up to our expectations. The bathroom at our end of the park was not in service due to a winter plumbing issue that was waiting for parts in order to get resolved. The dump station water bib was not operational and we had to dump at one of the trailer sites using our own hose. The bathroom toilet holders did not work correctly..

NICE QUIET NO ONE THERE. NEED AN AREA TO PARK WILD FIRE EQUIPMENT DURING SEASON AS WE LIKE TO STAY THERE.

Beautiful setting; friendly person at the store. We only met her. The site was gravel and messy. Lots of un-raked leaves. Unlike most other KOA campgrounds I have visited, there were no patio sites available that I was able to find. When a barbecue site was requested, I was told, “…we could probably drag one over to your site”. I was directed to an area with an inoperative grill that I could

This place has so many diff ways to stay with them-covered wagons,cabins,tent or RV large through sites! Swimming pool available during the season.

We had the absolute best time!! Beautiful weather! Gorgeous site with a private hot tub and so much fun for the kids!! Already planned our next trip!!

Perfect place for getting to Mt Washington Lookout, and spending time in Winthrop. Had lunch at Sun Mt. Resort. Great location!

The campground is nice but the manager was not friendly and it seemed like a struggle for the staff to be accommodating. I realize they are understaffed but they could have been a little more gracious.

Nice facility, very nice staff, shower was awful. Took several minutes to see any warm water then turned cold half way through shower.

The KOA had been taken over by the Corp office. The mangers were either not around or very rude. They yelled at our kids and attempted to grab a 8 year old girl to drag her to us adults. Because they went to the CEMENT FLOORED shower room and rinsed off after swimming in the river. The CEMENT was wet and he was livid angry. Disgusting,. Also pool and restrooms closed yet we pay full cost!!

We liked our stay at the Winthrop KOA and it was shoulder season with very few campers and it would seem the daily rate could have been a little less expensive and more folks might camp there.

I wasn’t happy about the closest bathroom/shower being worked on. I also wasn’t thrilled when the water was temporarily turned off during the stay(I assume to fix the bathroom). That didn’t seem to effect us though. When we were leaving and water started springing up from the ground was the cherry on top. Nothing major just an inconvenience. We dropped in late for a one night stay. Very nice, and accommodating. Good to walk the dog a bit along the Methow River.

2nd time here. Bathrooms not the cleanest, also end of season, and not very crowded. Kamp K9 needs work. Would be nice if it was a bit larger and had some grass....Staff very friendly.

We had a great time! The campground is clean, roomy, and we loved our pull-through site. It’s also close to great hiking and biking trails.

It was very dry, dog areas were subpar. Very dissatisfied. If your looking for a comfortable place for dog family this isn’t it. Couldn’t reach the river either.

Our stay was nice and Winthrop was fun and beautiful. The campground is over priced for the area and even charged us extra to camp next to our friends. Even though they weren't full or busy.

Kind staff - on good note. $80 plus a night - Very expensive for what it is. Also, asked to be next to friends and was charged $25 extra - friends had asked the same and they pocketed another $25 from them even though most of the park sat empty. There are better and more reasonable places just as close to town. Will try one of those options next time due to cost.

The staff was awesome. Super helpful and courteous. The dust at the park was horrible. I spent 6 hours cleaning my coach and it was filthy in a matter of minutes. 90.00 a night with no sewer and a dust bowl was ridiculous.

We stayed 3 nights. The hosts were great! Very friendly and helpful. The grounds very clean. The showers at the far end were really nice, good hot water, spacious. It would be nice for them to renovate the others. Winthrop is a great little place to visit. Lots to see in the area. Looks like it is a hot spot for fly fishing as well.

We had a great time and our children really enjoyed the playground area. My only issue was that we got told our dogs couldn’t be in the playground area because “of poop” even though we literally had poop bags with us at all times not to mention to have locations all of the park with bags as well.

It is a beautiful park, but over priced. (totle $80.00 a night for a camp site). The Y-FI is terrible even when we were at the office, so slow we couldn't watch a video. We have stayed there for years. We have found a less expensive park for next year.

We drove the cascade loop and wanted to have access to the National Park. Our site was gravel, level and pretty with a large tree. The park staff were friendly. We have a larger 43 ft fifth wheel and the site was spacious with full hook ups. The town of Winthrop is adorable!

Overnight stay while traveling. Have stayed multiple times before. The campground is fine, as always, however we feel it is getting a bit expensive. $85.00/night seems excessive considering the time of year, and that some amenities are closed. We used to reserve our site in advance, but with the reserve fee of $25, that would have brought the price up over $100., just for one night.

This KOA has really gone down hill in the last 4 years. The grounds are not kept up no longer green gas at the pull through sites. Pine needles were all over. The bathrooms near us were closed and the pool was closed. The other bathrooms and the store smelled like raw sewage. The store was only open 9-5. We have been coming here for 20 years for the car show weekend and we won't be back.

Over priced at over $90/night including tax and our KOA discount. No hookup at our site for sewer even when they told us there would be. I tried to take a shower in the bathroom by office and no hot water. The showers were clean. The pet exercise area was locked up. Nothing was paved. We could have stayed at Perrygin State Park for $40 with concrete pads, paved roads, green grass & full hookups

My friends and I stayed for an overnight before a trail run nearby and had a great visit. Our cabin was clean, warm, and quiet. The bathrooms were a delight, clean, heated, and comfortable.
