Park was amazing, clean, very friendly staff. They watered the gravel drive to keep dust down and the kids play area was amazing. Much diversity in sites so families can come regardless of camping equipment. The Conestoga wagons were unique and made me think of great grandma coming across the plains.

Was placed next a overflowing dumpster that smelled awful! No Wi-Fi at sites, was told upon leaving that it is horrible and only works sometimes in front of the office. Do better KOA, $85 to smell garbage all night NEVER AGAIN!!

Love this KOA! The super site was great but a bit run down this year. Could benefit from a bit of TLC. Pool was clean and well kept. Quiet and relaxing.

We are sure we booked a full hook up site (this happened to 3 other families we spoke to), but we were placed in a partial hook up site…but charged the exact same amount as the people in the full hook up sites. The gold mining activity was broken, the bathroom close to us only had cold water, the sites were mostly dirt, the store had no food stocked in it. SO DISAPPOINTED. Will never go again.

Horrible showers at restrooms near office. I would rate them a zero. There was also no enforcing of rules with the children. The children were throwing gravel and being extremely loud and destructive. Staff was nice. Campground was clean.

In short-Staff are mostly friendly. No WIFI at all so do not plan to work. Our site full hook-up site only had 30 amps on 1 side. Close to town. Store hours are very limited and very limited supply but it isn't far from the grocery. No recycling, and no toilet close to the pool. Winthrop as a whole is very expensive. Sad to say do not shop local :(, River float is fun but dangerous at times

Everything was clean and well kept. The employees were all very nice. My kids loved the playground and pool and we had a really good time.

Not a very well maintained KOA. Bare minimum in store, playground bouncy pad dirty, NO BAGS anywhere in park for pets waste, garbage bins over flowing, entrance/exit road full of potholes. Office staff was great in accommodating us to place us in a different spot.

We've stayed at this KOA several times over the past decade+. It's well located and the staff seem to be efficient and service oriented. This is one of the most expensive parks we stay in and it is not aging well. The main building and outbuildings are showing the wear and tear. The roads are dusty and full of pot holes, they need to use the old water truck to keep the dust level low.

All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Camp ground and sites was very clean! In a Very Convenient area. 6 min walk to espresso stand and grocery store. Also, access to the river. Tents sites right next to river.

We have stayed here previous years and we were disappointed this year. We heard they have changed management and sadly, they have gone down hill. The kids jump pad had a hole so the kids weren’t able to jump, the webpage advertised mining for the kids and they didn’t have any. We stayed 6 days and the train for the kids only came once! The bathrooms weren’t getting cleaned either. We won’t

Great place, clean bathrooms. Our spot was very tricky to get into without driving into the adjacent tent spot, so we ended up reserving the tent spot for the day we left to make sure we could get out. Other than that, very nice place. Loved having river access and still pretty close to town. Will definitely be back!

The location of this KOA is wonderful! The trailer sites are quite spacious. The staff was friendly. We had trouble getting hot water in the showers. I realize it was a holiday weekend and lots of people staying in tents and cabins so the bathrooms were used constantly.

The showers did not have hot water. The shower faucet is not well marked as to which is hot water and which is cold water. At times the washroom was very dirty with paper on the floor, hair, and water. Travelling, we are dependent on Wi-Fi, and during our stay, we had periods with no Wi-Fi. Saturday night, there was a large group of people being loud till past 1:00 am.

This is my second year- a little bummed though. The scenery and landscape of Eastern Wa was amazing! But the upkeep of this KOA wasn’t the best this year. Very friendly staff. Small, nice store. Pool is great. Groceries/gas next to the KOA. Downtown Winthrop is a cool visit. But, this will be our last stay here. It has gone downhill over the years. Grass in tent sites only. The rest are dirt & weeds including the un-kept dog walking area. Pricey too. $30-$40 higher/night than all the other, much nicer kept, non KOA campgrounds we frequent.

We were very pleased with this KOA. The only complaint would be the check in area to park RV. It isn't clear where to go (found out later to pull in below check in office). Lots of rigs parked in the roadway next to the office.

This KOA is a shabby old lady with little maintenance. My site had no water hook up on arrival had to get maintenance to add a splitter to single outlet to hook up. HU is at end of site could not reach sewer even with an extension without staying on my site. Sites can be pulled in either way but my neighbor was allowed to pull cross ways with a pop up. NOT A $100 per night camp Go elsewhere

We were surprised we had no sewer connection when we thought we had a full connections site. Others around us were blindsided too. Location is good along the river. Trash bins aren't particularly close to many of the sites.

My friends and I stayed for an overnight before a trail run nearby and had a great visit. Our cabin was clean, warm, and quiet. The bathrooms were a delight, clean, heated, and comfortable.
