Clean park, ample sites, friendly staff that was helpful, kid friendly with a nice well kept play area, small but nice and clean dog park, restrooms clean, dump station clean, the mini store was nicely stocked. Overall a very nice park that I’ll return to.

It was a clean place with lots of things to do close by. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plan on staying there again.

Staff very kindly adjusted our reservation to the next week as our schedule changed and gave us the riverfront site that we preferred. Great location and lot sizes…we’ll be back!

A lovely campground in a spectacular natural setting. Plenty of amenities. Very quiet despite the beginning of hunting season. One of the best KOAs we've stayed in. Keep up the good work!

Arrived late, after dark. Packet was on the store window just as they said it would be. Woke up to a river view, gorgeous trees and a really nice clean park. Walked the park several times. It was always beung cleaned by employees and they were very friendly. Already planning a trip back in the spring.

Good location but further from North Cascadss then I thought. Main bathrooms very clean but one by campsite needs to be updated and cleaned

Not really a holiday, more like a journey. Was nice to be close to the national park. The river access was also nice. Bathrooms were updated and nice

The bathrooms were not well taken care,of the shower curtain was moldy and dirty. It was a lot of money for a space to park and take a shower.

The property is great. Close to town and the north cascades. Sites are mostly level. Very spacious. Bathroom and shower needs some help. Shower curtain was falling off the wall. Needs some tender loving care.

The perfect time of the year to visit Winthrop. The camp ground was clean, beautiful and quiet. The staff directed us to a great way to ride our bikes into town. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

Very nice campground. Good, clean shower house. We stayed in W40 with water and electric. Nice spacing in between the campsites. Great location in Winthrop. Easy to walk to town.

WiFi should easily be expanded, only good near office. Laundry was nice. Quiet. Not all locations have septic, we had to move our rig to dump station. All else was fine we, clean with river along back.

This is the 5th time we have camped at the Winthrop KOA. We stayed in a Super Site with a private hot tub, there was no cover, although the old broken cover is stacked against the fence. The hot tub became littered with dirt and pine needles, leaves, etc., plus the water level dropped significantly. We needed to refill it for the water to get above the jets. The grill was dirty.

Why is it that the advertised price for a site is never available. It’s always $10.00 more!! The web site also says only a few sites available. At this time of year there were about 30 sites empty. Your website lies!!!!!! Very disappointed in your deception!!!!’

Location, location, location. And not just location, beautiful setting, full service or partial, and friendly people everywhere. The river runs alongside the campground and the mountains surround it. You are just a short walk or bike ride to Winthrop for fun, restaurants, shopping and western ambiance. Mountain and road biking galore along with hiking in every direction. Just perfect.

Sewer hook ups are set pretty far back in the space creating the rigs to be very close or in the roadway when awnings are extended and are located right on the rear corners of the rigs. WiFi is something that is low in a quality of signal. Otherwise everything thing else is of very good quality.

Poor customer service and staff at desk not friendly or helpful. Should offer shuttle service to town like they used to. Bathrooms not clean and observed garbage left for several hours on the grounds.

Great time, wonderful spots, wish there was a second dump spot. Also give more information about events tell people about the kids train and the poker run stopped by the office and we could have watched the cars go by.

We were return customers. Sadly, we were only there one night. Jessie was quite helpful with sharing answers to all of our questions!! Super bonus, we got to see the Northern Lights from our camp site.

Crammed spaces, would have been terrible if alot of people camping. They seem to concentrate their efforts on cabins. The RV slots for back in/pull in were grassy, but not well delineated and very erratically spaced. Grass was nice ti have, but could have been mowed/groomed better. “Dog park” is 10’ x 20’. Literally for toileting only. And my dogs refused the dirt space. Make a bigger do

Definitely gone down hill since the last time I was there. We use to stay there every year and enjoyed the pool, we were not told that the pool would be closed for our stay. It was closed down due to "algae" so not sure what that was about. Another big draw was the shuttle into town where we used to float the river and that is not part of your park. Empty park and we were denied late check out.

We were warmly greeted by the staff. The park was clean and tidy. Our site was spacious. It was very hot but the grass in the park is being watered which was nice. We enjoyed our two night stay!

They advertised add an extra night for 50% off but would not honor it. Since we left 2 days ago they have sent another email advertising same thing. Not good look for KOA.

We came with our grandkids and although we got an email telling us the pool would be closed it was too late to go somewhere else! So we come with disappointed kids. Part of the extreme cost to KOAs is the pool. We weren’t given a discount for another time when the pool is open. Staff was great and everything was very clean . But the grandkids don’t care about those things.

Very disappointed. A premium 50/30 pull through full hook-up site and was in the dirt. The pool was closed. The kid train was broken. The bouncy jump thing for kids, which was on their website when we booked, broke last season and never replaced. The park is small for kids. It has a large Connect 4 game but no pieces. Not much to do for kids! Our fire pit was junk. Will not be back!

It was clean, and nice, and staff were freindly and helpful. However the notification a week before our stay that the pool would be closed was very disappointing. I was then informed on the 1st night that we were not allowed to have a tent on our "deluxe" rv sight, even though my reservation was for 4 adults. Overall ok, but lacking a lot of communication.

I was so surprised by this place. The RV sites are nice and large. All come with a fire pit. Check in after hours was simple . The help were very friendly and we were a 5 minute drive to town. Weather was gorgeous during the day and chilly at night (Oct). I have already informed family that we will all be making a trip back in the spring. They have darling little cabins to rent. And even have stagecoach rentals with a queen bed, heat and AC. So cute!

A beautiful area in which to camp. Great KOA with cabins, tent camping and RV spots. Bathrooms and showers at 3 areas of the campground. Close to restaurants and stores in Winthrop.

Campground offers an array of accommodations from RV sites, cabins to tent sites. They have a communal electric stove and also offers hot showers!
