The stay was great. Staff was friendly & helpful. The cabin was nice. Few suggestions: Do a walk thru of cabin before it's rented out, especially in off season. The gas stove had been turned off, there were small bugs in the windowsills that could have been cleaned up, the BBQ & grease catch need to be cleaned, you should also have an info sheet on how to use the heat/cool system.

My dad and I have been coming to the KOA for deer hunting camp in October since 1997. Ever since Mike and Laurie sold the KOA, it HAS NOT been the same. You are not treated the way they treated you. The cabin and rest room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was toasty warm on a frosty morning. The whole experience exceeded my expectations.

It was lovely, everything was easy, except for hiking to the restroom :-). But the cabin was quiet and pretty, across from the river.

I stayed in a 4 person cabin for 2 nights and I absolutely loved it. Booking was easy, check in and check out was a breeze and the stay was wonderful. Staff were so nice and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were so clean. The fire pit and picnic table was great and much needed. Our weekend was wonderful.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. I stayed in a comfort cabin, and it was a perfect size. The bathhouse near the cabins was pristine with private rooms, great showers, granite countertops. The town of Winthrop is awesome to visit, and the North Cascades National Park is so very worth the trip. Stunning!!

Love staying in cabin 301 with our four dogs and a fenced yard. Have stayed there three times now it had everything we could have wished for. Beds were super comfortable. Will stay there again.

We had trouble with the TV and one of the employees spent at least an hour trying to fix it. Even after I told him we could live without the TV he kept working at it until after closing when he found a cable outside the unit that he replaced. The TV worked.

Very nice camp! My cabin was comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were great! The only reason I didn’t rate higher is that price is a bit high. The kitchen area could use some sprucing up.

Me and my 6 year old son rented a cabin for a night as a getaway before the school year started. I have never stayed here before but we will definitely be returning! Checkin was super simple, the amenities were outstanding, the facility was more than what we hoped for. Everything was super clean, the campground was beautiful, location was perfect, cabin was great, playground was awesome!

Very nice camp hosts, lots to do for the kids (play ground, pool, jump pillow, camp bikes) and my 14 year old enjoyed the river tubing which stops at koa and was fun/affordable

We have been coming to the Winthrop KOA for almost 50 years and have loved it! There are a lot of new additions like the K-9 park, the newest bathroom/laundry room, etc. that have been nice. My only complaint is that I feel the cost for a cabin per night is high. Paying over $350 for two nights for two people is extreme. I can still stay in a hotel cheeper.

We truly not have enjoyed our time more! The space was clean and in a perfect location near the Cascades. We also loved exploring the lovely town of Winthrop! Would 10/10 recommend and stay again. Finally, we LOVED tubing with Methow Valley Rafting and hope many visitors take advantage of the pick up site!

I stayed in a small cabin because I needed AC and it was very comfortable. If I stayed here again, I think I'd ask for a place with a bit of shade. In the morning I had the sun blazing on me. In the evening it was behind me and so fine. Showers and bathrooms were good, a teak floormat might have made the bathrooms less wet after showers.

Perfect stay. Wish there was an ADA cabin available as we always travel with one person confined to a wheelchair. it however. however. Was a bit disappointed on late fee as it takes time to get said person ready to leave. Our problem, not yours. Great staff and nice clean grounds. We will return

After 25 years & bringing 6+ dozen respectful ppl, the manager's absurd new rules soiled the experience. The cabin's back room was unbearably hot, so 1 adult & dog slept in the truck bed on the $300 cabin site. Manager insisted all must stay in hot cabin or rent tent site to sleep in truck. Other staff disagreed. Senior mom denied bathroom use before scheduled cleaning because "it's almost time."

We all had a great time. It was my 4th trip to the KOA. The one of the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper in the morning which was frustrating. All in all, it is a fun and easy place to stay.

Liked the location, cabin, nearby bathroom facilities, pool area, games, river access, store, and staff. There were a few too many bugs around and we left with several big mosquito bites.

Easy late check in, easy early check out. We stayed in a cabin and it was really clean. The wash rooms by the riverside were also clean. Staff was friendly.

We had a great experience at Winthrop/N Cascades KOA! Truthfully, I hadn't booked at this KOA the last few years as it seemed to have been less managed and cared for under previous management. When I saw that the management had recently changed and saw the new positive reviews, I came back and was so glad we did! Everything was in great shape, well cared for and the employees helpful!

Lots of hornets. Cleaning staff was very rude and had attitude the whole visit. Never apologize or talked to my family throughout our visit. Very disrespectful

The people were extremely helpful and friendly. The campground was super cute and well equipped. We were able to put our kayaks in the river right at the KOA and kayak down to Twisp. The back room with the bunks was a little smelly. Nothing too bad, but a bit like a barn/outhouse. Also, the campsite was large, but it seemed like they placed everyone at sites really close to each other.

We have come twice a year for 15 years of so. First in a small cabin. Then in a trailer. And now in a deluxe cabin! We love Winthrop and the atmosphere at the KOA

We had a nice pull thru lot. Lots to do for kids here. Visited north cascades national park from here. Nice downtown shops in Winthrop. Gas station. Grocery store and hardware store right by the campground. Park was clean and secure.

Rooms isn't really a thing. Mini cabins, yes. Camp spots are gracious in size, trees and shade available, all sizes of tents to rigs seem to be able to camp there. They really have some fun stuff for the kids and the little shop has gotten pretty cute over the last few years.
