KOA staff showed great hospitality and care for visitors. Two unexpected events occured (Stud Horse Wildfire & power outage) during our stay but the staff kept great communication and showed great attitudes in the midst of adversity. Looking forward to scheduling another visit to Winthrop KOA!

Great stay. The campground was awesome for the family. Close to the river, lots of activities for the kids and very clean. Our site was lovely with shade trees.

We stayed in the cabins all of them should be upgraded with air conditioning and bathrooms. Could’ve been a little cleaner.

The people who work here are very helpful and nice. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Great river access. Pool is pretty cold and small. And no activites for the kids besides the playground and bouncy pad.

Incredibly friendly staff. Neat and well kept facilities. Well supervised but not “camp nazis”. Will gladly revisit this park.

Beautiful tent site right on the river and away from traffic. Kids loved the playground, bike paths, pool, jump pad, and train ride. Sadly, staff rudely asked us to leave the property right at 11am checkout, even though we were just eating lunch nearby and headed to the pool. When we asked to stay a little longer, the staff were rude and unaccommodating. Disappointing enough that we won’t return

I was extremely disappointed in the RV sites at this campground. My black\gray water drain system was 4 or 5 feet away from the neighbours picnic table as it was at my table with neighbors drain system. This was a standard in sites providing drainage. This park does not meet the standard for "holiday" KOA & fees are not justified. Their designation should be discontinued! The staff was great!!

The staff were very nice and welcoming. We stayed Sunday night ($98.00) and Monday night ($80.00) which we found expensive for just water and electricity. The site was pretty big but hard to manuver.

We were evacuated from Pearrygin Lake Stake Park because of fire. We had stayed at the Winthrop KOA nine days previous, we went there to see if they could accommodate us. Nancy was very nice since we arrived after hours, she was helping another unit that had also been evacuated. We were able to get a site for one night. Unfortunately, the cost was $105.00 for only water and electricity. Not happy.

we stayed for our annual cousin camping trip. 4 RVs and two tent sites. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, grounds were clean! we had a great time.

Ashley was welcoming and very helpful with our accommodations and things to do during our stay. The grounds and facilities were well kept, despite the heavy usage .

My friend, who is Mexican, was harassed by both the male and female host multiple times. They seemed to follow her in their golf cart and had the sheriff come and patrol after talking to her. They were rude with their communication approach. As a white woman, there was a definite difference in how they talked to me. This needs to be looked into.

I was very dissatisfied with staff interactions. This was my fourth time staying here over the last several years with no issuesand I was shocked by the way my friends and I were treated, it felt almost like harassment from the camp hosts. The only thing that was different from this stay is that we had a person of color in our group and it felt like they were focusing their behavior towards them.

The cheerful staff was excellent and the park very well clean and comfortable. The access & views of the river are amazing! However, our RV doesn't have a bathroom, so we used the restroom near our site. The other restrooms were GREAT, ours was NOT. It definitely needs to be replaced. Sadly, I would hesitate to come back until that restroom is repaired or rebuilt.

Staff are always nice and helpful. The air conditioned cabins are excellent. Been going to the Winthrop KOA for about 25 years and it has just gotten better.

3rd year at your campground. We have a great visit every time. Nice staff, bathrooms kept up pretty well. Easy access biking or walking into town. Love the river access for a midday float!

Relaxing stay, we were in tent areas with an RV. It wasn’t bad as it was quiet for our group. We did use a lot of leveling blocks but as I said the privacy was worth it. Walking to the showers near the laundry facilities were worth it. The kids loved the jumping pad and pool! I wish there were no smoking signs at the pool, otherwise it was a great stay!! We will be back.

party people till late at night with vulgar language. had little kids with us. someone puking on dirt road filthy bathrooms. saw girls cleaning go in. a while later came out. went to use. still filthy. trash, floor, showers nope won't come back

The bathrooms were dirty, loud music all night and the store closed at 5 pm with little to no support onsite. This KOA has gone downhill.

Nice place with shade where sites were not right on top of one another. Site 67 was hard to get in with 20’ travel trailer and had two dead trees that need to come down. Water was off for an evening with no explanation. Would stay again if I was in the area.

My camp spot was T9 the cabins across from us partied until 2am both nights. Then because they drank too much their was throw up all over the bathroom and paths. I am very upset about this experience

Campsites could offer more privacy and boundaries with landscaping. I was in site 22 next to restroom/shower shack and other campers cut through my campsite to access the facilities due to lack of boundaries. Also observed other campers ignoring the speed limit of 5 mph. Maybe install speed bumps?

* Excessive Noise: Loud music and screeching sounds persisted until 12:30 AM, disrupting our sleep. Stayed in a deluxe cabin for 4 nights that had great air conditioning which was needed. Great KOA with well kept grounds. Excellent and very friendly staff. A river runs the length of the campground for easy rafting/tubing, and fishing. A portion of the town is within easy walking distance, the remainder about 2 minutes away by vehicle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

Dusty roads, pool closed in middle of July, site very unlevel, only power and water at our site which cost $100, tree branches in way of awning so we couldn’t put it out. The only positive thing was the staff were nice.

It was a perfect place to have as a base camp. Located conveniently near bike trails and easy to get to downtown Winthrop on my bike or drive to amazing hiking trails!

My friends and I stayed for an overnight before a trail run nearby and had a great visit. Our cabin was clean, warm, and quiet. The bathrooms were a delight, clean, heated, and comfortable.
