No internet, very dusty, river view site was not a river view-it was across the street, through tent sites and down a hill-bathroom was a one person room, dog park was very small and a dust pit. Staff was very friendly.

Arrived shortly after the power went out on a 100 degree day. Not their fault, but they did tell us that they would notify us when it came back on. Office closed at 5 and they all went home. Pool closed at 8pm - too early

Had a great time. The cabin was great to come back to after a long day riding. The bathroom facilities are always clean. Customer service from the staff amazing. Thank you!

I stayed in a small cabin because I needed AC and it was very comfortable. If I stayed here again, I think I'd ask for a place with a bit of shade. In the morning I had the sun blazing on me. In the evening it was behind me and so fine. Showers and bathrooms were good, a teak floormat might have made the bathrooms less wet after showers.

My girlfriend and I, loved our stay at the Winthrop KOA during the Winthrop Blues Music Festival. Though I wish I had confirmed a spot sooner with lot's of shade to keep out of the hot hot sunny weather. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect stay. Wish there was an ADA cabin available as we always travel with one person confined to a wheelchair. it however. however. Was a bit disappointed on late fee as it takes time to get said person ready to leave. Our problem, not yours. Great staff and nice clean grounds. We will return

Price high, I was right across from the playground and it was screaming kids starting at 0800. The facility was nice well managed and large grassy parking areas for my RV.

Located right on beautiful Methow River. Very clean. Nice separate stall bathrooms north end of campground. Handy laundry area. Friendly staff. Frequent staff patrols of grounds.

Pricy for a very small site..The campground was clean and well maintained with several amenities especially for children..pool, playground, bounce device, river for swimming and tubbing.

Clean, quiet, well organized. Laundry was good and very clean. WiFi is minimal. ATT cell service is minimal . But I was on vacation . River access from park . Groceries and fuel close by . My one concern was dead trees in the park. One 50 foot tree next to my sight was completely dead and was a hazard.

Nice park. Have all types of stays. FHUs, part hookups, cabins, car/tent campers and eben covered wagons. Need to get housekeeping to follow speed limits. Saw them driving the golf carts way over the 5MPH speed limit. This causes dust.

There are some really nice people who work there. Our wishes came true as soon as we'd asked for them. For example: I've asked for another campsite or the bright light that was on the whole night. We immediately got another site, which suited us perfectly. And the light didn't bother us the next night. Your people did a great job! After 25 years & bringing 6+ dozen respectful ppl, the manager's absurd new rules soiled the experience. The cabin's back room was unbearably hot, so 1 adult & dog slept in the truck bed on the $300 cabin site. Manager insisted all must stay in hot cabin or rent tent site to sleep in truck. Other staff disagreed. Senior mom denied bathroom use before scheduled cleaning because "it's almost time."

We all had a great time. It was my 4th trip to the KOA. The one of the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper in the morning which was frustrating. All in all, it is a fun and easy place to stay.

Liked the location, cabin, nearby bathroom facilities, pool area, games, river access, store, and staff. There were a few too many bugs around and we left with several big mosquito bites.

We had a reservation over the 4th of July in a rv site with water and electric. Our site was a pull through on grass and we'd get blocked in by tent and cabins in front of us. The pool was ice cold not even close to 70 degrees as they stated. Store is overpriced. After we left, we get charged $30 a cleaning fee for dog poop we didn't leave-we never leave our spot dirty, ever.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Everything was very clean. The staff was awesome and very friendly. Very chill environment. Great place for the kids to just be kids. We will 100% be coming back. Thank you guys for our great stay.

Beautiful!! We have two young kids and this campground was absolutely perfect. The park, bounce pad and pool were a hit! The staff was very friendly and the campground facilities were always very clean. A very short drive into Winthrop without any noise of being next to a busy tourist town. If you have kids I would say this is a must!

Easy late check in, easy early check out. We stayed in a cabin and it was really clean. The wash rooms by the riverside were also clean. Staff was friendly.

We had a great experience at Winthrop/N Cascades KOA! Truthfully, I hadn't booked at this KOA the last few years as it seemed to have been less managed and cared for under previous management. When I saw that the management had recently changed and saw the new positive reviews, I came back and was so glad we did! Everything was in great shape, well cared for and the employees helpful!

We had to leave a night early due to evacuation orders from a fast moving wild fire. The staff was amazing and took care of guest to ensure we felt safe and kept us informed.

Everyone was was very friendly and helpful. This is one of our favorite spots. For this trip we got cut 1 day short due to being evacuated from camp due to the Hamilton fire next to Winthrop. We weren’t expecting a refund for the last day but it was given to us even though it was out of the KOA control. We appreciate everyone at the Winthrop KOA. Thanks again for being great hosts. JReece

Where do I start? I planned on staying for a couple of days. On the morning of the second day I hear whole lot of sirens. I was away from the KOA having breakfast. When I got back, we were ordered to evacuate. I had to leave my Fifth wheel and return the next day. The staff were extremely accommodating and very concerned for everyone safety. My hats off to them for their efforts.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The campground is close to Winthrop and the North Cascades. We enjoyed the jump pad and giant lawn games. Our trip was abbreviated by wildfire, and the staff was kind enough to offer us a refund, which we greatly appreciated. Will stay here again when we come back!

We only stayed one night, but it seems like a perfectly fine campground. It's close to town and somewhat close to the NP as well. Suited for travelers and visitors to Winthrop.

Friendly staff. The 2 guys that operate the kids train are great. Sites by the river offer a great view (T3-T5). A night movie screening could have been great addition.

We had a nice pull thru lot. Lots to do for kids here. Visited north cascades national park from here. Nice downtown shops in Winthrop. Gas station. Grocery store and hardware store right by the campground. Park was clean and secure.

Rooms isn't really a thing. Mini cabins, yes. Camp spots are gracious in size, trees and shade available, all sizes of tents to rigs seem to be able to camp there. They really have some fun stuff for the kids and the little shop has gotten pretty cute over the last few years.
