We have been camping at the Winthrop KOA for over 20 years. We have noticed a few changes we don't particularly love since the change of hands. Some don't matter as much as others. The office/store closes very early (5:00 pm) with not as much to offer and the pool is very, very murky, it was open but not appealing to take your family in and feel safe that it was properly taken care of.

It was a dust bowl with very small sites. The pool had zero chlorine in it and very few restrooms. we have stayed at over 60 KOA’s across the country and this is by far the worst one we have stayed at.

Nice little spot in Winthrop. Cabins were simple, but clean and plenty of room. Bathrooms were clean and showers were nice. Would def stay here again if I come thru the area.

Only stayed 2 nights in a cabin. But it was perfect location in terms of being near town and the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing.

The park is very clean. Bathrooms are very nice. Some of the sites do slope a little but it is what it is. Having the river right next to the park is sweet. Go upstream and raft back to the park.

We had a great stay. Loved our site #8. Your staff is wonderful, friendly and efficient. Pool eas refreshing . We will visit again.

Our KOA camping was okay, we like forest camping way better. People were friendly and the camp was clean, we really liked the river. It was great watching the river rafters.

We enjoyed our stay and that the RV site we were in was spacious. I was surprised the job didn't have much going on except for 1 train ride in the 4th we were there 3 nights with no other activities. The pool closed for maintenance was also a bummer and the blob water toy thing is no longer available. This particular KOA doesn't seem as family friendly as most.

Pool was closed for most of out stay. When it was open it was kind of gross. I got complained to for parking my truck a little over into the site next to me even though it was empty for my whole stay. The store was bare. Overall it wasn’t a typical KOA that I’m used to. No movie nights or family entertainment either. I’d stay at a different campground if I ever go back to Winthrop.

Gorgeous park next to the river with grassy, shady spaces. Definitely one of our favorite camping experiences. The staff was very friendly and helpful, clean facilities, great location.

We had a great 3 night stay in a deluxe cabin at Winthrop Washington Koa. Can't wait for our 5 night stay in August in Warrenton Oregon Koa. We have been using Koa for over 40 plus years. Love all the amenities and so far so good, Nothing but great service at all.

The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Showers & bathroom clean. We wanted to stay longer but there were no 50 AMP hooks up or water/sewer hook ups available. Courtney in the office took the time to firm all incoming reservations & found a spot for us available, and we were able to stay another 4 days. Courtney was so helpful and kind. This was our 2nd summer in this KOA, and we will be back

I thought the cabins were overpriced for only having beds and a fan and nothing else in them. Also bummed that the jumping pillow was gone. Besides that we had a great stay and it is a really fun place to stay with kids.

I love this KOA. The folks who run the campground are always friendly and helpful. The grounds and washrooms are clean and very well kept up. Lots of options for activities and easy river access. You can walk or drive into town. I've camped here many times over the years and will again. Great location!

We loved our stay and did not want to leave. All the employess were constantly making sure the grounds were clean & watered. The facilities were clean. This is our annual place to come. Especially appreciate the special attention to detail and kindness of the front desk employee Courtney.

We had a basic cabin with a river view. Friendly staff and clean washroom. Guest laundry was clean the only thing we missed a table to fold the clothing. New showers and restroom. We bought firewood and that was the best we ever had. Diablo lake and the washington overlook in Northern Cascades where beautiful. Village of Winthrop western we had lunch at the old school brewery great beers chicken

Everything is great. I wish they would/could bring back the shuttle bus. The only bad thing is the paper towels in the bathrooms, they were awful.

The campsite was pretty big and spacious, close to the river - which we loved! It was also very easy to find/ clearly marked, so we didn't have trouble finding the location. We were happy that it was very clean campground and the shower/bathrooms were clean as well. Close to Manzama if parties like to come from out of town to rock climb. Would highly come back to this KOA and recommend to others!

The pool needs cleaned, the jump pillow wasn’t there, our campsite had two septic tank covers right as we stepped out of our camper and we couldn’t even sit around the campfire due to septic tank covers. We were in spot 5, we also had a huge yellow jacket swarm right next to the septic tank covers at our campground so the kids couldn’t even play outside. Grounds were unkept.

Disappointed the jump pad was gone, the pool was slimy and discolored so the kids only went in the one time the entire trip. The staff was nice and bathrooms were clean. Not like it has been in the past. Will probably find another camp site to go to next year.

I loved the cabin I stayed in. It was a little pricier than others but it is a tourist destination. I will come again. Keep up the great work

It was very conveniently located and a pleasant campground to stay at. However, some of the turns in the campground were hard to navigate. The trees need some trimming.

I found the facilities were dirty. Showers were not clean. Once I saw that I didn't look at the bathrooms. Trees need dead branches removed. I don't feel that I got my monies worth.

Unfortunately the rv I reserved was not rentable,so they offered a covered wagon or a cabin.Neither having a bathroom,I opted for a cabin and it was just that a cabin,it was very Hot there and I didn't have A/C..HOT hot hot. The step up in the cabin #11 Was a hard step to get into and by the end of my 3 day stay I was miserable. The water faucet next to my cabin was hard to shut off.

t The stay was fine, the staff was great. No activities available other than swimming. We've been camping there on/off for several years (20+) I think the kids have just out grown it. Thank you for being there.

Great campsite. The sites were large and there was a lot of activities for families with children. More showers would be a plus. Other than that it was a great stay! We will definitely be back!

My friends and I stayed for an overnight before a trail run nearby and had a great visit. Our cabin was clean, warm, and quiet. The bathrooms were a delight, clean, heated, and comfortable.
