We are especially tailored for families with kids!Kathy & Stefan Maassen and their team present a friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere for their guests, and are pleased to share their campground's lovely location in the tall pines of the Kaibab Forest, just a short drive from the Grand Canyon.
Kathy & Stefan are planning great new improvements to the already gorgeous 20-acre site, filled with trees and beautiful campsites. And just like at its sister-campground, Grand Canyon KOA, they takes pride in the friendly atmosphere and the high quality of services they provide at the campground.
The Maassen's tailors this campground for families with kids, who could spend an entire vacation exploring the vast campground with great adventures like: GoKarts, Mini-Golf and Gem Mining. During the summer, families enjoy the indoor pool, hayrides, and live music on weekends.
Both Kathy & Stefan love being located between two major locations, Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and there are many other Northern Arizona attractions for vacationers to enjoy. Many visitors use the KOA as their base camp, she said, since it is central to attractions and has amenities that kids enjoy.
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA.com Account.
