The dumpster was the first thing that you see as you pull in and it was overflowing. The check-in lady was friendly but the guy that was to escort us to our site was a very rude jerk. He wouldn’t answer questions about directions to the highway and just made it clear that he didn’t like his job.

On a Mountain, very steep incline up the mountain to get to the spots if you are timid driving a rig. Spots were nice but could use a little grooming/leveling over the winter. Staff was courteous.

Convict to Pittsburgh. Sites are unkept and un level. Grass was long and tables in disrepair. Dog walking trail overgrown/nonexistent. Disappointing at best. They need full time help keeping up grounds! Very steep entrance.

The Staff were friendly and Kind. Bathrooms were substandard and not cleaned or maintained daily. The noise from the highway was extreme. Not a place for anyone who has any issue with mobility due to the hills and unevenness could make getting to the bathrooms a challenge. It worked for me because of its location, but earplugs should be part of the check in procedure.

Unfortunately arrived after dark the entry to even get to the office is ridiculous for a large rig. We had issues with the 50 amps, called for help or reassignment but no one responded to our message. Never come back, willfully share our experience to keep our RV friends away too.

Lot 14 was the lot they put us on first. That lot was NOT for us. Too close to Class A (we have a travel trailer) and the fire ring was just a ring at the end of our lot. We went up and asked to be moved to either lot 62,63 or 64 and they accommodated us (we paid the extra) and put us on lot 64. We had a great stay. The only thing I would recommend is that the fire ring area be closer

We stayed one night on our way home. Our escort took another camper instead of us, we were next. We easily found our way, however, the road led us up steep hill with curve at top, our Class A scraped road underneath. The water is shared with next site so we had to run hose underneath RV. Sites were stone. Camp was very rustic.

The campground provided a nice base for visiting southwest PA. Very hilly back roads getting there but nice flat site. Friendly staff.

Everything worked. Appeared to be a crack in sewer pipe and slight leak on site 64. Called office after we left and they will address it immediately. Had propane fill and went well even in rain. Freeway noise but not uncommon with KOA locations.

Sites were not level and lawn was mowed after we arrived. Instructions to find camp was very confusing. Hard to find.

The site number was changed after our reservation was made and the site we were assigned was in poor condition with tree branches scattered about the thus site as well as others. The drives were all gravel and needed maintenance due to pot holes every couple of yards. Our site 99 was partially gravel and needed a bite more width to keep the RV tires out of the mud. Got a major clean up now.

Very nice park, long spaces and very clean. It is a little difficult to get to this KOA but it's worth the effort. Large dog park and very clean. Staff was very helpful.

This koa was a total disappointment. The campground is located on a hill. Sites were far from level, the drives are washed out and bumpy. The bathroom facility is a mess. The floor had big divets, was dark and needs to be replaced with a modern facility. The water hookup was on the opposite side of electric and sewer. It’s hard to believe KOA allows their name to be used on this campground

The bathrooms need serious help. My wife couldn't get anything other than tepid water after letting 2 showers run for 5 minutes. After considerable experimentation with the shower handle, I was able to get warm (not hot) water. We weren't able to use the sewer hookup because it was too far away from the water and electric, and I don't carry that much hose. The people were friendly.

Narrow, steep road to access this facility. Poor offsite signage. Very steep interior road. Site was large but our section was barren of trees/plants. Very nice pool area and showers and laundry were clean.

Arrived late due to equipment problems. Easily found our site with the map provided. Found the site was level. Yes is on a hilly terrain but typical of Pittsburgh area. Ease in accessing to the Interstate nearby. Has some noise due to traffic but not terrible. Our dogs enjoyed walking about the campground. Being visitors to the region for last 14 years we found it to be quite suitable for our base

By no means a Good Koa-I have been coast to coast two times. I have stayed in this Koa 3 times-it has gotten better but in my opinion not up to basic Koa standards

Be aware that the road in is scary narrow, the traffic noise is very loud and the spots for nightly guests is just a semi-level gravel spot in full sun. While the chickens appear to be friendly you do have to work your way through them to get to the office. It was a place with hookups but I expected more from a KOA.

The site we had was nice- level with full hookups. Plenty of space between lots. Unfortunately we had neighbors on one side (5 women) who were loud and drunk into the late evening. No one was there to enforce the quiet hours after 10 PM.

Site was pretty narrow, and we were unable to level our rig. Otherwise it was a typical campground. We didn’t use the shower house.

OK for an overnight stop, but would not stay any longer. Grass was not cut, sites are not level, water tap was on the opposite side of the site from the electric and sewer, sewer outlet had no threads. The overall feeling of the campground is one of being poorly attended to, perhaps just enough to get by. Certainly not on par with other KOA Journey locations we have stayed.

It's very nice. But it's noisy because it's directly next to an interstate and there's minimal shade for the spots.

Sadly, this campground is deteriorating - and yes I understand this was an end-of-season stay. The patio site has unsafe decking and stairs, the chairs have frayed webbing. Drainage has left sites not level. A Journey should be easy-in and easy-out for short stays.

Small site, not leveled, even the picnic table was almost impossibke to leveled. Sewer’s pipe was broken. But it was near downtown.

Very dated. Grass is very overgrown, very steep hills everywhere. There was dog poop and long grass in the K-9 park. Dont think we’ll stay there again.

Those giant stones are a hazard! Those have to be #2 stones meant to be a base layer, not a top dressing. They don’t pack. You can’t even walk without twisting an ankle, let alone ride a bike in them. It’s really really bad. The one staff member I had contact with was very nice and helpful, so I hate leaving negative feedback, but it was really atrocious.

Nice, clean campground. This campground, typical of the pennsylvania landscape, is built on hills. However, individual campsites are level gravel, with small surrounding grassy areas. Generally quiet area, although the nearby highway traffic can get noticeable depending on time of day.
