We enjoyed our cabin and site’s location within the campground. We were within easy walking distance to toilets and the bath house. Our cabin was well equipped with an electric space heater and a wall unit AC- even a small TV mounted in the corner. My only gripe was the noise from the highway all day and all night. This is not ideal when trying to get away for a quiet camping trip.

Bathroom by the Cabin 1 was not cleaned daily as sign stated. Had to ask for Fire Ring for campsite. The gas grill near the Pavilion was a blessing to use for cooking breakfast! Pool was nice and relaxing. Appreciated the dog park space. Front desk people helpful and friendly.

The stay was great. My only issue was that the lady that checked us in was the one I spoke to about coming early and using the pool and shower room and she said that would be fine and I asked on check out if we could stay and do the same thing she said fine. I guess she forgot to tell the other worker because she asked us to leave. Saying we stayed apast our check out time. DISAPPOINTED

7/2025: We stayed in a Kozy Kabin. The campground is well maintained and clean. The location was perfect for us with our travel itinerary and needing to just stay the one night. Clean restrooms, beautiful pool, and lots of room to walk the fur babies!! My only critique would be…I would have appreciated it if the air conditioning in the Kabin had been turned down n prior to my arrival.

First time renting a deluxe cabin and we was happily surprised . It was perfect . And the staff was very helpful and friendly which made are stay pleasant.

It's was a beautiful, scenic and relaxing couple of days and I really needed it and so enjoyed it. I had my dogs, two small dogs and they had an amazing time as well and I only have one recommendation that you open up the glamping tents to small dogs because to me that would be a better environment and way less chance of severe damage if that's why you don't let them into the glamping tents.

We stayed in a clean rustic cabin, very cute and cozy. It was right next to the bathroom. It rained basically all weekend but we still enjoyed ourselves, it was so nice to be away after 20 years. The traffic was very loud unfortunately. Great place to stay 1 hour away from home.

Very friendly staff to check us in, clean/stocked camp store & bathrooms. Our cabin was smaller than the last one we had stayed in. Bottom bunk bed was extremely small and hard to get in and out of for our kids. Our room had a quick clean but under the furniture and in-between the spindles of the bed were mouse turds. We would probably try a camp site instead of that particular cabin next time.

We were in Pittsburgh for a weekend visit. We already had a full schedule. So we just needed some place to sleep. We stayed in the camping cabin. It served our purposes.

Pills and bugs all over the ground, and bugs on walls, mold in the ac unit, and the toilets didn't flush, if they did it almost flooded. And a man was in the shower in the women’s restroom (I saw him run in the shower when the bathroom opened) with a woman I think a worker, when I used the toilet. I was very uncomfortable. Very messy. Best thing is the chickens and ducks running around.

Loved the cabin but there is only one it seems. And two glamping tents and I think someone lives in the bigger cabin. We had to provide our own toilet paper and hand soap to the outhouse that wasn’t cleaned. (We cleaned it) very nice cabin very nice outhouse. The playground is extremely disappointing. If you’re looking for a nice place to park your RV this is it.. other wise wait for the Erie

It was ok. Office closed early and the glamping tent we stayed in was kinda dirty and there was stains on the mattress. Also, a couple toilets were broken in the girls bathroom.

Cabin was clean & well-maintained. Desk clerk was very pleasant. Staff was helpful. Pool was clean & well-maintained. The campus was ok. A good place to stop-over at.

The cabin was nice but the camp looked like it was gouged out by bulldozer and then graveled over. There is an open trench behind the cabin and the overall look and feel was awful. Wifi was poor.

We stayed in the large glamping tent! It was just as we expected and we had a very nice stay in it!! The roads to the KOA are not all marked so it took us a LONG time to find the campground! The pool was pleasant!

We had a nice stay. What would be a nice addition to the cabin would be a small refrigerator. We stay at other KOA ‘S and they all offer one. I did notice in the women’s bathroom that the middle shower was missing a shelf. It would be quite convenient to have that shelf to place items that one uses such as shampoo, body wash etc. We enjoy walking around and meeting new friends.

The noise from the highway is terrible. The girl at the front desk is unfriendly and needs to find a new job.We stay at the Salem / Lisbon KOA often and are always told we are welcome to stay and use the pool for the day of checkout. We were out of our yurk by 1030 ( checkout was noon) I stopped in the office to let them know we were checked but was going to the pool she said checkout is noon

The women’s bathroom showers took a long time to get hot. Not sure if I was doing something wrong but the very last shower worked. The extra bathroom near the dog park is really nice but it could use a brighter light in the toilet area. The TV didn’t even have the weather channel. I think most campers would like to know the upcoming weather before they head out.

It's a nice little campground to stay at for a few days but it's also a ran down campground. Firewood and gas cans and tools ect.. all over the place honestly it's a dump

Deluxe cabin was great for us! Campground was beautiful and neatly kept! Staff were very friendly and answered any questions. The wildlife up near the cabin was great. It was nice and quiet at night. I would highly recommend this campground! It's about 45-60 min from center city Pittsburgh. Traffic coming out of the city was rough but worth it. Thanks for a great stay!

A quick overnight stop. Staff is friendly. We stayed in the basic cabin no bathroom. The cabin was pretty clean but could have used a little more tlc. The outhouse was close by and the showers were not far away. Overall this was a good stay. The grounds could be kept up a little nicer and cleaning could be a little better. There is a ton of highway noise here. Not a terrible stop

While the cabin and the grounds were nice, and very close to a lot of nice stores and restaurants in Wash. with close access to two mayor highways (I-70 and I-79) we had issues with two of the three heaters not shutting off by the thermostat, and the water pressure being too low. when those things are repaired, this would be a great stay, close to Pittsburgh, Kennywood and Fallingwater...etc

Nice, clean campground. This campground, typical of the pennsylvania landscape, is built on hills. However, individual campsites are level gravel, with small surrounding grassy areas. Generally quiet area, although the nearby highway traffic can get noticeable depending on time of day.
