Very nice campground and dog friendly

It's was a beautiful, scenic and relaxing couple of days and I really needed it and so enjoyed it. I had my dogs, two small dogs and they had an amazing time as well and I only have one recommendation that you open up the glamping tents to small dogs because to me that would be a better environment and way less chance of severe damage if that's why you don't let them into the glamping tents.

Park needs a lot of attention. Roads need work, trees trimmed, lawns mowed. The site are not close to level. , in fact I could not level my coach even by blocking up my tires.

Enjoyed our time at the Washington KOA. Sites are a little uneven. Plenty of room tho.

The approach to the campground is very tricky. Several hilly, tight roads. Our site was not manicured. We couldn’t easily find the sewer outlet. Could possibly be because they had had a lot of rain? Restroom was clean, water was hot. Ok place for an overnight.

Bathrooms clean, camp sites clean, host friendly….. overall a very relaxing stay !!!!

Friendly staff nice place overall. But the road noise was a bit much for us.

Stayed overnight. Roads were narrow and steep driving to and in campground. Not many people there but for the time of year, that’s understandable. We pulled in after office hours so didn’t have any interaction with staff. Bathrooms with toilet and sinks were clean. Didn’t use the bathrooms with showers. May not stay again due to driving a 38’ trailer to the campground.

Rediculously narrow "path" to the campsites (paved mountain goat trail). Very poor grading at campsite, door side ground so high that we could not extend our stairs. Water bibs located every other site, ours located near far back end of the previous site. Between the angles of the sites, and the distance from our mid-rig water hookup to the next site bib, we had to work at using a 50 foot hose.

Staff needs to pay more attention to details. Mowing was haphazard, no weed whacking had been done, trash around the dumpster, and site was very narrow and difficult to level. However we did enjoy the deer in the fields on our way out.

Everything is on a hill. Hard to level the Rick. Finding the KOA the drive off the expressway to the KOA is challenging. I had a pull through and the sewer line was at the very back of the site. I needed every inch of my three waste hoses.

I addressed a water problem with one of the camp sites that could have been catastrophic if children were present hopefully caught in time so nothing bad happens. camp sites seem roomy to me not quite level so make sure you have the leveling blocks. showers and bath room were very clean and the park was very clean also.

Steep road into camping area. Only stayed one night. Didn’t use showers because of long steep walk to restrooms.

The park sits atop a lovely Mountain with views of major highway interchanges, close to sights and shopping. The laundry and bathhouse were clean and secure. It rained mostly, but we enjoyed the natural setting and quiet of spending a couple days in the off season.

We have stayed here each Spring for 4 years while traveling to Maryland. Every year we see more improvements. It is so nice to be greeted by a host that actually appreciates our staying with them. Friendly service, escorted to our site, full hookup and a level site.

Very hard to access. No one to assist at front desk. ( office was closed) Our site was far from level. We were A long way away from main washrooms and laundry room. The place looked abandoned Not at all what we have learned to expect from KOA Disappointing to say the least. We choose KOA above other camp sites with the anticipation of a superior experience

got a 2 because people were very friendly. Difficult roads to get to KOA. very narrow and hilly. Site was near impossible to level because it was on a hump. Why we were given that site when many nicer ones were available is a mystery. water hookup was in site next to ours. Had 2 use 2 hoses and go under RV and car to get to it.. All in all, not worth it.

Too hilly, too noisy, electric box faulty - had to move sites after 12 hours behind the wheel, sewer outlet too high, water hookup on wrong side.

Very small site, no cable at site, water hookup shared by two sites so we had to run hose (2 hoses) onto wrong site of river to next campsite, Internet did not work, and the site was uneven and muddy.

We stayed in a clean rustic cabin, very cute and cozy. It was right next to the bathroom. It rained basically all weekend but we still enjoyed ourselves, it was so nice to be away after 20 years. The traffic was very loud unfortunately. Great place to stay 1 hour away from home.

Very nice tent pad to keep out of the rain water

Was there first day open, and no one guided us to our site. Missed the spot had to go down the hill and turn around. Spots or uneven. Everything on an incline.

The “outhouse” had NO water & was VERY DIRTY. The Exit Ramp blacktop is in bad condition & has no safety feature if a rig slides down from all the loose gravel. The sites were full of animal feces (& not just deer). The office bathroom was clean, but showers need updating. The staff is very pleasant. Our 50 amp service was broke, we only got 30, the young man tried to fix it - he was great.

Just one night. Lots of rain but that was not a problem. What was a problem were the stairs going down to the office. You could face a lawsuit for this. Super sketchy steps, broken, slippery, uneven and just downright dangerous. Only to find that the main washrooms were closed. Seriously, fix the steps before someone really gets injured. Otherwise this park is ok.

we followed koa signs to get in from the interstate. Took us thru town down narrow hilly roads, not a place for a Motorhome. Leaving a very nice woman from the park gave us excellant directions to the Interstate. We camped in a class A towing

Clean. Roadway inside of KOA is very difficult to access sites. Very narrow, steep, and curves. Har to believe they expect large rv's to navigate this. Sites are very unlevel. Excessive road noise from nearby interstate. Price is fair.

The feral cats were disruptive for more than 2 hours plus in the middle of the night. We were unable to get back to sleep. We assume this is not an isolated situation and strongly suggest asking the local ASPCA or other cat saving group to capture the cats. It isn’t necessary to eradicate them as there are other humane options available once captured.

Overnight stop. Friendly staff. No real issues. This campground needs some work but has potential.

Not much space between sights. Animal crap everywhere. my 30amp breaker was shorting out one evening so I plugged into the site next to me. I left a note on the office door in the morning the problem and that I plugged into the next site. 2 days passes when I got a call that I needed to plug back into my own space. I never received notice it was repaired but scolded. Bad communications.

Very friendly staff to check us in, clean/stocked camp store & bathrooms. Our cabin was smaller than the last one we had stayed in. Bottom bunk bed was extremely small and hard to get in and out of for our kids. Our room had a quick clean but under the furniture and in-between the spindles of the bed were mouse turds. We would probably try a camp site instead of that particular cabin next time.

Amy made my check in and stay very easy. She's a pleasure to work with. The location of the campground is very convenient due to working in Pittsburgh and living in Maryland. During the cold, isolating winter months, Amy made me feel a whole lot less alone. I appreciate her kindness and compassion as well as her expertise in local shopping, food, and events. I'm looking forward to coming back

This was a decent campground. I was in shock on the narrow and steep entrance road to the campsites! But the staff was friendly and being escorted to the site was nice. Only thing was that steep hill into the camp area... that was scary!

The road is narrow getting in/out but the campsite was good and they have propane. Office was closed 12-1500 but they have personnel to guide you to your spot.

Nice location on top of a hill. Was a little noisy at night with nearby interstate traffic. Was a little tricky getting out of the nearby neighborhood in my RV.

3 night stay for business in area. Access from i79 via narrow twisty roads. Noise from I 79 is too high. Koa is built on a hill with steep roads within campground so not big rig friendly. Departure ramp needs better sloping. Scrape rear end of 40 ft pusher. Price was good though! Walking difficult due to hillside situation

Nice folks. Great campground with wonderful views. We will be returning in the near future.

Easy in and out, very friendly staff, clean and level sites. This campground has many slopes which makes hiking fun. Large, clean Dog Park too. Very nice KOA

Nice, clean campground. This campground, typical of the pennsylvania landscape, is built on hills. However, individual campsites are level gravel, with small surrounding grassy areas. Generally quiet area, although the nearby highway traffic can get noticeable depending on time of day.
