Very friendly check in staff that were ready for us. Check in took 2 minutes. That said, the grounds are in poor condition, our site was very unlevel, and it is a drag on the KOA brand. Convenient stop but we probably won’t stay here again.

Direction need improved. The campground is located approximately X miles off Highway XX. As you approach, be prepared for a hilly terrain—both the access roads and campsites are gravel, so drive with care. Everything was fine except cable didn’t work and double connection for water between campsites doesn’t work really good for campsite on left side of water. Have to pull hoses underneath camper.

We used the night registration. Instructions were clear, site amenities were working, and site was level. There is quite a hill on the way in. Follow the KOA signs - do not take that first turn recommended by GPS.

This KOA was a bit hard to find as it was in a rural location about 5 miles off the interstate. The sites were on the top of the hill and uneven. But overall the campground was clean and well maintained. Fine for an overnight stay. Not enough to do to warrant any longer stay.

This campground seems to be struggling. Foot-high weeds to set our chairs in. Broken tables. Narrow gravel lanes were the only way to access the campground. Maybe consider hiring a camp host. In dire need of TLC.

Poorest sites we have seen. Very unlevel. Had remove once to get a more level site. This could be remedied by having a dozer level and rerock the sites. Obviously isn’t going to happen. Site is hard to reach but has good signage to get you there. Driveway as you exit is rough with holes.

We chose this KOA strictly for the location near Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, it is very challenging to get to, due to the narrow winding roads that traverse through residential neighbor hoods. Most of the sites are situated on a hill side and very close together with no shade. We stayed there for 3 days and there was never more than 1 employee on site, in the office. The grounds need maintenance.

Way over priced for tent camping at $60.00 and $55.00 a night! Road noise is really bad there. Bathrooms is really dirty!The sink on the fare right in the mens bathhouse has a leaking water line that makes the bathroom smell bad!

Overall, the stay went pretty well! The only issue was that we had a broken picnic table at our tent site when we arrived. It was completely broken and laying on the ground.

When traveling to places unknown we choose KOA’s to be guaranteed a certain level of safety and comfort (understanding it’s camping). This KOA seemed not cared for. The gravel pads were over grown, pressure treated wood was warped, the stairs to the usable bathrooms were rickety at best. For the KOA price one would expect a KOA standard. This one was not that in our experience.

Hard to get to. All kinds of turns through residential area. Website said office was open til 7. No one there at 6:30. Uphill to sites. Campsite was not very level. Bathroom was far away and down steps. Fishing pond was covered in moss. They indicated a Hotspot for internet but it did not show up at all on our devices.

It’s an older KOA campground. Very hilly. Gravel everywhere. Would be difficult for people with walking issues Needs updating. The hosts Amy and Sara were very friendly and accommodating. Nice folks.

The worst KOA campground I have ever stayed with. Access to the park is very restrictive for any large RV. I am surprised that local officials allow RVs to have access to the campground. When I arrived at 1:15 in the afternoon the office was locked and they were on lunch break. The entrance was filthy and covered with dead bugs. The access to dog park, restrooms, laundry, etc was difficult for me with a cane. The hills were steep and no paved walkways. The scenery was lovely and we saw three deer near our site which was great. Staff was friendly.

Very difficult to drive to. I have a 45 foot class A and the roads into the park have a very low canopy. Sites are loose gravel and I sank about 8 inches into the lot. Office was closed when we arrived ((1:30 pm) and closed when we left. The staff on the phone were very friendly and helpful. This park is really better suited for smaller rigs and bumper pulls.

It was perfect location for our overnight visit. The check-in host was very pleasant. She gave us a dinner recommendation, “Kopper Kettle”. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Arrived in the middle of a rain storm so setup was stressful it the site was not. Level and didn’t have to lower my levelers at all. View was incredible, getting there was a bit of a challenge since it’s convenient to Pittsburgh but in the hills. Site well maintained and fun to walk around with the dogs.

Beautiful view. Road in is a bit narrow and overgrown. Trees should be trimmed. Grill was dirty. Dumpster was messy.

Stayed last few years. Definitely improving. More level now on the hills. New fire pit areas are nice. Still tight on top of the hill getting in. People are nice working there. Up one star since last trip.

The only good thing about this campground was the rates. About a third of the sites are either abandoned or poorly maintained. The pull through sites are 2 feet too narrow. The road noise from the highway is overwhelming. Unless you want to just drop your RV and use it just for overnight I would say stay away.

We enjoyed our cabin and site’s location within the campground. We were within easy walking distance to toilets and the bath house. Our cabin was well equipped with an electric space heater and a wall unit AC- even a small TV mounted in the corner. My only gripe was the noise from the highway all day and all night. This is not ideal when trying to get away for a quiet camping trip.

Nice place to stay, pull-ins were convenient and the staff was very friendly. We stayed two nights to visit with family and see familiar sights. Noticed half coaches arriving were 1 day stays passing thru. Freeway (I-79) had consistent sounds, but they were not heard inside. Pleasant stay, would come back next time visiting family or friends.

KOA needs to inspect this campground. The triannual inspection of the swimming pool expired in July 2025. I pointed this out to the owner. Sewage connections are above the elevation of some trailer dump valves. Some sites are wet and gravel is rutted. None of the sites are level. Every other camper had to run water supply hose under trailer to connect to a shared water spigot. Staff was friendly.

This KOA is in the perfect location for traveling East to West from the PA turnpike. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However this campsite is in need of major repair. The sites are not level, wide enough, or completely gravel. The picnic tables were ready to collapse on both sites I was placed. I’ve never stayed at a KOA that was in this condition. It appeared to be very rundown

No problems. Campground is old and needs a lot of love. Roads to Campground are narrow and marked with a 40 mph sign, way too fast. Only has 1 bathroom for the Campground. But, we enjoyed our stay and even though there's no cable TV reception was exceptional. Clear picture and many stations. Also nicely located for the things we wanted to do.

We like to camp. Our site did not have a place to sit our lawn chair comfortably. We thought the sites are close together. A dusk to dawn light on a high pole illuminated our campsite at dark, not for campers. We did have friendly staff and nice neighbors, which helped. We love KOAs and use them quite regularly.

We just needed an overnight stay, and we got everything that we expected. The road getting to the entrance was slightly challenging due to rerouting, but KOA marked every turn very clearly.

We found this KOA to be not up to standards. The washrooms were not attended to and if they were not very well.The picnic tables were held together with duct tape.Our fell apart as we were putting our stuff on it. On the positive side the staff was friendly,the tent site was awesome and the showers were good with enough pressure.

Nice, clean campground. This campground, typical of the pennsylvania landscape, is built on hills. However, individual campsites are level gravel, with small surrounding grassy areas. Generally quiet area, although the nearby highway traffic can get noticeable depending on time of day.
