The koa was well kept and in a nice location. However, the sites left a bit to be desired for me. I prefer to have some kind of divider between myself and the neighbor behind me. Not just open space for all to see.

Peggy, Dawn and the rest of the crew there were great hosts! We had a wonderful family reunion there and plan to go back next year. The bathrooms were always clean and smelled fresh, the grounds were kept spotless, and it’s located close to lots of fun stuff. The gift shop was also full of goodies. Looking forward to going back!

This location needs a few improvements. The fire pits are rusted out, the tent sites are made of rocks, not wood chips, a couple of the bathrooms locked, and one of our kids got locked in and couldn’t get out without the help of an adult, the heater went on the in the bathroom and wouldn’t turn off. We really enjoyed the KOA store and playground as well as the game room on a super windy night.

What a fabulous, central (to the things we like) location on the Oregon Coast. Our space (#24) we will request next time we stay -- which I hope will be soon, was quiet and had a great view. The bathrooms, showers, grounds, trail, store were all clean, inviting, and well staffed. We wanted for nothing -- the hosts thought of it all. Good job, KOA Waldport!

Cute cabins with all the bedding and towels provided. Very clean. Most of all very accommodating staff. Everything you need is close by. Showers, restrooms, and laundry room! Close to town, and very quiet at night. Will always stay here for our camping trips! �ϋ�

Great spots. The pull through we stayed in, the "firepit" was rusted out and set too close to the trailers. You might want to look at moving them and making them with stone and get rid of the metal. Restrooms/showers could use new paint & repairs. Very quiet. Very friendly staff. Very clean.

Good safe place in a pinch. It’s in a great location but really needs an over haul on the grounds and restrooms. They are gross.

Overall we had a good time and were very pleased with our cabin. Unfortunately, and the reason for 2 stars, was the amount of marijuana being used at this location despite the very clear rules that marijuana is not allowed on the property. Waking up and smelling marijuana in the morning and/or while preparing for dinner was not ideal, especially for the cost of our cabin.

My wife and I just completed a 7 night stay at the Waldport KOA and it was a very enjoyable experience. The camp is well maintained has nice clean restrooms and our campsite was separated from others by 5 foot high hedges on both sides, making it very private. We enjoyed our stay so much, we made reservations for next year!

Spot was too narrow for a trailer with slide outs. We had to decide if we wanted our door into the trailer in the bushes or the slide outs in the bushes. If we couldn’t put the slide outs out we wouldn’t be able to open our bathroom or pantry doors. Camp store shouldn’t close at 5:00pm.

Very nice facility. Great prices in the little store with a lot of supplies for the camper. We were there over 4th of July and enjoyed the fireworks show just southeast of the camp on the 3rd and the parade and decorations around camp. Grandkids loved the rec room and the playground. It was so nice to have a comfortable place to explore the area! We will definitely consider this place again!

We love coming to this campground as it is quiet with beautiful access to the area. This time it felt like it was a little understaffed as no one was available when we arrived at 7:30pm, bathrooms were without paper and handsoap for over a day, etc. It wasn't our first time visiting, so it just felt a little different this time. The grounds crew was doing an amazing job though!

Had a bay/water view except the shrubs keep you from seeing anything much when sitting. But! because of the firework show & our view for that, it was really great! It was also clean, everyone respected quiet hours (important) dogs were on leashes, people were nice, staff were great. Campsite- was a tad tight with the camp trailer. Overall, it was a nice stay, thank you.

We had a late change of plans and were able to get a site here a few days prior to our stay. Glad we did. Very quiet even though there are a lot of pretty tight spaces. Very clean restrooms and showers which my wife demands :o)..... We will be back...

We’ve stayed at this campground many times over the years! This is the 4th year we’ve been there for 4th of July and we booked our site for next year already. Such a great location it’s smaller and some of the spots can be tight but neighbors in the campground have always been courteous and will to help by moving other vehicles. We will keep coming back!

Hello We had a 3 day reservation in site 55 Could not hook up to sewer because it was 40 feet away from site. I went to discuss this with management and all I got was you can buy a hose which I would have to buy 2 to reach the staff was rude told me they could refund my money and leave if I wanted to. Will not stay again. Not kid friendly and not private as your sharing your site with others

It was quite for the most part the people in 55 would not have their dog on a leash terrified are little one and not much of a view of anything other then the neighbors

Absolutely amazing!! The views are breathtaking and it’s 100% worth staying here. I loved the nature trail—I ate fresh berries, saw hundreds of seals, and even watched a bald eagle sitting by the bay before the other birds chased it away. The staff was super nice, and the whole campground was clean and organized. They even provide linens and towels, which a lot of KOAs don’t.

The cabin was very spacious for us 2 & stocked with everything we needed. It was clean and the campground was well maintained. We used the laundry machines and had no issues! Very friendly staff.

We've been staying at Waldport KOA for many years and hope to stay many more! The staff is exceptional, especially the front desk, they always go above and beyond. Campground is well kept and clean. Sites are cleaned quickly after campers leave. Location is near perfect and convenient for travels up and down the coast or just enjoying the beautiful view of the Alsea Bay.

This was a terrible KOA the bathhouse was filthy with mold & mildew in the shower. curtain was filthy the water from the shower pan did not drain properly ran onto the floor and pooled so I couldn’t use any electrical appliances in fear of electrocution. The space we were in had no grass it was pea gravel and had some kind of goathead stickers all over that was tracked into the camper. Awful sta

This KOA is one of our favorite stops when in the coast. This time we had a site that backed up to the bay so the views were spectacular. The park is well kept, long sites and a great K-9 Kamp dog park

Well maintained camp ground, sites are very narrow,not many public trails near campground except the one to the beach which was nice. Only one set of restrooms but clean.

Lovely view from Coastal cabin. Bunk beds are tight and small for adults. Bunks linens not made and were difficult to put on due to tight quarters (like small caves). While queen bed was comfortable, small white flecks of something and hair were on sheets on arrival. Road noise from hwy 101 as this campground is very close to it. Obvious political affiliation when walked in campstore with TV on.

All in all it's a good koa the bathroom could use a deep cleaning, several stalls smelled of pee? Other then than its a well maintained campground and location is good for nearby activities

They had several things they offered this weekend (4th of July, 2026) like a kids parade, free ice cream sundaes and s'mores and the little store is pretty reasonable for what I have come to expect. All the staff are friendly and have been very happy to help with any questions we have had. We will have to return soon to enjoy the views and this beautiful little town.

Stopped in for just one night on our road trip. Took the trail from the KOA to the beach and stumbled upon some amazing views and a great Italian restaurant just a 5 minute walk down the beach. Would stay again!
