It was great! The staff are so friendly and kind, it's hard to go wrong when you are greeted by name on arrival. The cottage was clean and comfy and easy to use. Such a gorgeous location and a perfect vacation.

The KOA at Waldport Newport is a great place to stay. Close to crabbing fishing hiking bicycle riding and probably a few things I forgot. The best ever.

I was super bummed to find out there was no coffee served at the office. We had to drive to the nearest store each morning for a cup, and the cottage cabins didn’t have a coffee maker. Also the campground store didn’t really sell any food either. Just different from other KOAs. Other than that, the location was good

the front desk manager was nice and stayed open a few min past 5 when I pulled in. the camp area was cleaned and maintained well. the cabin I stayed in unfortunately had no heat due to the heater being left on, on full blast and was burned out. sink was partially clogged and TV wasn't set to standard to turn on and work right away. I feel these should be all in the checklist. I'm very upset with m

We stayed in the large "cabin". It's a cool cabin and served our purpose very well. We were happy with the furniture but not happy with the furnishings. When you pay a premium price, I expect to have basic furnishings such as towels, bathroom rug, hand soap, garbage bags. It had none of these, we had to provide our own. I went to store to buy soap, garbage bags, paper towels. No ice in office.

We have never stayed at a KOA before, and we had plans canceled due to the Hurricane in Florida. We figured we needed to still get out and go on a trip. I had a friend who mentioned they love to stay at KOA's, so I decided to check to see if a cabin was available. I don't camp very well, so this was perfect because it was so comfortable!

It was nice and quiet and comfortable. The reception people were nice and friendly. E have stayed several times in the cabins and I do have some friendly suggestions, I do take in account your on the coast. The screen door was ready to break at the bottom, I feel if was hinged on the opposite side of the frame it wouldn’t be awkward or over extended to get your things in the door. Thank you!

Park was very clean and KOA staff were often visible checking on things and patrolling the park. Our site had a beautiful view of the bridge and bay. Trail down to the beach was a nice little side trip. Staff were friendly and quickly responded to help me turn the heat on in our little cabin.

The staff (Donna) greeted us a friendly & welcoming big smile. Check in a breeze. Well maintained camp! Owners so nice!! Loved our Coastal Cottage K12. Plenty of room to store luggage. Great hot water & pressure. Bed was very comfortable. Camp quite & didn't hear traffic at night. Very peaceful & view on the porch amazing. Harbor seals seen daily!! Walk across bridge was super. Highly recommen

People here were very accommodating after our rig broke down in their driveway. We ended up in one of their cabins with a fridge that saved our food from spoiling. Thanks again

We had a cottage with views of the bridge and water - GORGEOUS!! Well-kept camp, friendly staff and quality accommodations made this a great stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We loved our stay! Everything was clean, well maintained, and the staff were lovely, kind, and helpful. The only negative was that the tent sites were right along highway 101, so the road noise was very loud. We will not tent camp there again, but we would return for a cabin stay.

The campground is nice. The cabin was pretty nice as well. There was an old cigarette smell emanating from the inside of the cabin. We kept some windows open to air it out.

Super friendly staff and the location is amazing! Bathrooms were kept very clean. The hot made to cook breakfast items hit the spot. The Kamping Kabin was well maintained and comfy. Will go again!

Staff was really nice and friendly. Breakfast on Saturday morning was a great perk. I wish I would’ve known that there wasn’t access to the beach by walking - there’s a 3 minute drive. Cabin was great and clean. Bathrooms were terrible. Extremely dirty, cold showers and shower heads that barely worked.

Glad you enjoyed our staff and the breakfast! Yes, we do not sit on the beach, we are on the bay, we do have a trail to the bay beach. Which is a nice little beach. But the Pacific Ocean, it is easier to just drive to.

Clean. Conveniently close to town but closer to nature. Very friendly staff and KOA store very well thought out. Beautiful view and a great family atmosphere. My wife and I walked around campground at night, people were talking and laughing around their campfires. Strings of lights hanging, and games being played by children, it was a little magical. We could feel the love, it was nice.

Rv broke down so rented cabin. Tv didn’t work and dog droppings outside r cabin and every kid stepped in by end after asking for it picked up.

The location is excellent, as is the view. However there are no activities or anything to do at the KOA. They no longer have a freezer so they don't do ice cream socials, and they also don't carry ice! This was our fourth time there staying in the cabin. Not sure we will make the trip again, it was disappointing. But the view is great, so if you are in an RV your probably good to go.

We often stay at KOA’s because they are so family (kids and pets) friendly, but this was quite possibly the least family friendly KOA we have ever been to. Rude workers constantly seemed annoyed with my kids. There were signs to “not rinse sand off in shower”. We booked this spot because it was on the coast and had no where else to rinse sand off. Expensive and catered to old people.

They had several things they offered this weekend (4th of July, 2026) like a kids parade, free ice cream sundaes and s'mores and the little store is pretty reasonable for what I have come to expect. All the staff are friendly and have been very happy to help with any questions we have had. We will have to return soon to enjoy the views and this beautiful little town.

Stopped in for just one night on our road trip. Took the trail from the KOA to the beach and stumbled upon some amazing views and a great Italian restaurant just a 5 minute walk down the beach. Would stay again!
