As always we love staying at KOA Waldport. Great place, friendly staffs and clean place. Just one suggestion that hopefully the trail going at the bay is a bit wider �

My father died two days before!our reservation and the campground wouldn’t refund my reservation, per policy. Our family decided to use part of the reservation, and the entire time the campground was loudly trimming bushes with power tools around our site even after I explained our situation and asked them to work somewhere else.

This is our favorite place to stay in the area. Dog-friendly and everyone actually complies with the on-leash rule, thank goodness! Centrally located. Inexpensive, fresh-made breakfast offered on site. Cannot recommend enough.

The Waldport KOA staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were nicely maintained as was the cabin we stayed in.

FYI! The tent sites are a mix of compact dirt sites and medium sized, sharp gravel rocks sites- the second of which is unsuitable for tenters without cots, despite the advertisement as a “tent” site. KOA, staff were unapologetic about booking my teenage son on such a site, despite our phone call communication about camper gear and needs. Be sure to request a dirt site and avoid a painful rock

Beautiful and accommodating. It was comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The shop was fairly priced. My kid loved the experience. We will be back!

First time staying here as our friends recommended this place. We had the Deluxe cabin (Anniversary cottage I think) and it was just great! From the beautiful views to the cleanliness of the cabin it was a wondering experience. The grounds were very clean and well managed. I hope all KOA's live up to the standard at Waldport!

This campground is NOT for kids - there isn’t anything for them to do. It is mostly older people with RVs. The grounds are clean and the all-in-one bathroom stalls with private showers were nice, but very outdated and in need of an upgrade. Be sure to take the little nature trail down to the beach and collect driftwood for your fire on the way back. And get a milkshake down the street at Skosh!

We do not allow burning of driftwood. It is really smoky, smelly, and can be carcinogenic. We don't have organized activities, but we are a great place for kids. We have a playground and the nature trail is great. LOT's to do and see in area. Thank you for the comments.

It is against Oregon Health Code to take your dog into the restrooms. You can't do it. Having to tell you not to do it, is not us being rude, but enforcing the code and ensuring the bathrooms are sanitary.

The staff was friendly, the cabin was clean and smelled good. The bathrooms/showers were clean. We enjoyed our stay. We only wish they had a pool. Then I would have rated it 5 stars

The cabin was clean & quiet. The TV was a bit tricky to get going. The fridge was terrible!!!! Froze all our food solid, very inconvenient. But overall, it's in a good location to be able to sightsee up & down the coast.

Stayed at cabin L37. The bed was supriseingly comfortable. I have bad hips problems so I was worried. Slept great

The deluxe cabin that we stayed in was amazing. Super cute, very well done, and plenty of room for 4 of us. KOA staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

We have an a-frame trailer and it was super windy when we pulled in. We checked in and then decided we wanted to switch to a cabin for safety. Staff upgraded us for a small cost and we were happy and felt safe with our kids for the night.

Chris and his wife have been a tremendous help and resource for my fiancé and I. We just had a new baby and it was her first camping trip. Chris is always checking on the guests and their needs. From the moment of reservation to departure, the staff was always kind and really welcoming; an area of improvement is: the sink outside the bathrooms never had paper towels inside the dispenser during our stay, the same with one of the bathrooms, either didn't work or they weren't refilled. Yes, we will hopefully come back. Thank you.

The grounds were well kept and clean. Trails were well maintained and staff was friendly. Our cabin was clean and cute, comfortable and had everything we needed to cook. The outside area with the fire pit was large enough for us to put 6 chairs around. Our only complaints are we ran out of hot water too quickly and the playground was under repair and not useable.

The campsite itself was wonder and the Mumaw cabin was excellent with the exception of the following; the shower curtain was about 4” above the shower pan curb so water got everywhere when showering. The mattress was absolutely horrible and broken down, “V” shaped. Besides those couple of things, we had an absolutely wonderful time.

Very well maintained campground. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. There is a lovely view of the bay from the campgrounds and lots of things to do in the area.

We came for an anniversary trip and had the best time! The area is awesome to check out with plenty to do in neighboring towns. The crew working at the KOA here was SO sweet and kind! They added extra magic on an already special trip. Thanks everyone!

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
