Stayed in a tipi. Although the day was very hot it was cool enough overnight to sleep. Bathroom is a bit away from the tipi area. Bathroom cleaning time is between 6-7 a.m which was very inconvenient for leaving early.

Clean, quiet, and kind. We loved the quick walk to the bay. The walk across Alsea Bridge is a lot of fun and a great way to see the seals and ocean birds.

When I arrived a little after 2 pm, there were workers trimming the hedges and cleaning up my sight which was fine, we just ran to the store first. It was nice to have a fenced dog area, bathrooms, showers, laundry and a little store. The view was nice but it was pretty loud facing the bridge. Not much privacy between sites which I didn’t love but maybe that’s just RV parks in general.

We had a wonderful 7 night stay at the waldport KOA. Having camped here on a previous vacation we planned ahead and reserved a view space of the bay and bridge. We'll worth the extra expense! Quiet and respectful guests the entire week!

Management very accommodating the staff were very helpful. Facilities very clean. During our stay there were numerous kids riding electric bikes, all of them were exceeding the posted 5MPH limit, many were doing 20 mph or faster. They road in the back of the park, staying away from the office.

We were put in spot 56. This should be advertised as a shared camp site. All the other sites have hedge dividers with a bit of privacy. Ours had a hedge behind our trailer, but we were in full view of 5 other camps. The cabins firepit and table were just a few feet away. We were very disappointed with this spot. It needs improvement. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Great staff, nice locations. We wish the showers had been better maintained as the two we used had muddy floors. Our parking spot was sloped so it was a little difficult to level our trailer, and the fire pit was right next to our trailer steps so we had to be careful stepping out. All in all, a good weekend. Did I mention the great staff?

Seem unorganized in assigning sites. Put large 5th wheels in small sites where the slides get scratched by the bushes, plus the bushes need to be trimmed around the utilities so you can get to them more easily. In the meantime, small pop-ups and conversion vans get oversized sites.

Stayed 1 night in a cabin. The cabin was clean and came with bedding which I didn't expect (i.e., nice surprise). The cabin has a small refrigerator but no sink (wasn't expecting one). Parking is behind the cabin with the front door facing a ravine then highway (US-101). It was a bit noisy you will hear truck exhaust brakes.

Spaces were very tight together. The fire pit was small and close to the trailer so we had to roll back the awning. There is no dividing line to show where your space is and the next space behind begins. The shower was ok, nothing to sit on but the toilet.

Wonderful people. Great spot to camp. We had a great time despite the tsunami warnings. Scotty was amazing and knowledgeable and put our fears to rest. We slept through the whole tsunami.

We had the best time. The Campground was clean and the owner was so helpful. We loved the Beach and the location it was just perfect. We had a camp spot with a patio. Brought our bikes and just had a blast.

Cabin has fallen into some disrepair. The cooktop doesn't have sufficient power and so only one burner could be in use at a time. Had to descale the Keurig coffee maker myself to clean out built up grounds. The kitchen is no longer well appointed and what items are included appear purchased at the dollar store. Cabin needs a new mattress the doesn't make noise and disturb partner when you get up.

Park was convenient for our needs. The only downside is the tightness of the spaces with other campers having to park their vehicles partially blocking our site, making it difficult when departing. Otherwise, a well run park.

Nice place and very nice people but the tent sites are advertised as gravel pads but only one of them was and ours was dirt which made it very messy.

Great location & friendly staff. Bathrooms in serious need of updating and weren't the cleanest. Single use toilet/shower rooms - should convert to a shower room for multiple people. In Shower room entire floor is wet from shower & no stool other than the toilet seat, which is gross when you wonder about what's on the floor around the toilet, no shelves. Other than that, nice place.

We stay at the Waldport KOA at least once a year and it is always great! People are nice, the store is a fun place to find a souvenir or grab a snack. We reserved a patio site this time and the extra space, furniture, and nice patio were great! The views and access to the bay are a bonus! We will be back!!!

Property Trash bins overflowing. Stayed in cabin near by and didn’t notice road noise much overnight. Loved walking across the Alesa Bridge, caught one of the best sunsets of summer!

Perfect spot on 101 in OR. Brought back memories of crabbing and making homemade Chowder with extended family. Nice, clean, organized location. Surprised it wasn't listed as a Holiday KOA.

The tent campsites are super borrowing, tiny with a hedge around, nothing cozy about it. The rest of the campground seems okay, the facilities offered are good. If you need a place to stay it would do the trick, but I would choose any state park anytime if possible.

We were looking forward to our stay at the Waldport location. Upon arrival we didn't get a sense of welcoming. We were greeted with stares from. Other guests. Our site was very unleveled. The water was turned off without warning or notice while my wife was showering. We even encountered an argument and shouting between 2 other guests. This was our first KOA experience and it was a bad first imp

I know it's not a very good review, but it wasn't a great experience. It did meet our needs; office, reception, and restrooms were very good. But the tent sites are pretty crammed together; too cozy with the neighbors. Not your fault, but neighbors the 1st night were a bit noisy til 11. And it's too close to Hwy 101; lots of noisy vehicles. For natural dark skies, I'd like the flood lights off.

Our site was supposed to be one of the "high demand" bay view sites. There was no view of the bay from our site because of the overgrown bushes that totally blocked the view.

6-21 booked 2 sites & 1 for boat. 7-27 added a night, 2 available, puts boat in overflow. � boat later sand �� on boat not ours. � in boat staff complained. Had 4 kayaks in overflow parking all week, Fridaynight someone tried to steel 1or more, 2 straps gone rest loose. Could have better adjoining sites, 39,41,42 not easy to share. Safe and well maintained campground with very friendly and helpful staff. Only issue was uneven poorly graded trailer parking pad with septic uphill from trailer parking spot. All other parking spaces did not appear to have this issue.

Conveniently located off Hwy 101. Beautiful park, with great views of the Bridge and water. Staff were so nice and full of information. Park is very very clean and neatly trimmed trees and bushes. Private sites. The only negative was the bathrooms/showers were so very dirty. Took too long to get hot water.

We had a great time. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. A very nice surprise was to find bedding and pillows in the cabin since we were not expecting any based on other Koa’s we’ve stayed. We liked the privacy of individual bathrooms and showers! They had several things they offered this weekend (4th of July, 2026) like a kids parade, free ice cream sundaes and s'mores and the little store is pretty reasonable for what I have come to expect. All the staff are friendly and have been very happy to help with any questions we have had. We will have to return soon to enjoy the views and this beautiful little town.

Stopped in for just one night on our road trip. Took the trail from the KOA to the beach and stumbled upon some amazing views and a great Italian restaurant just a 5 minute walk down the beach. Would stay again!
