Even though we paid for another to be on site at overflow, we could not have the car at our site to unload or offload our things even for a minute without being harassed by employees to move vehicle. With kids, a dog and the sand from beach you should be given grace. Plus overflow should be for evenings not day time. I would never come again or recommend to people with a group because of this.

Well kept rv park with a great view. Nice people, but I don't understand why the maint. man operates the leaf blower for hours on end. Bathrooms are neat and clean. Secret question: How long did it take you to figure out the faucets in the baths?

A little misleading. We thought the creek would be more accessible. The sites were small and cramped together making parking difficult, overflow parking was aways away. The picture map shows the ocean a short distance and it’s not. We honestly probably won’t use this KOA again.

Extremely nice staff, restrooms are all separate, that is a plus, they are also cleaned several times throughout the day. Access to beach is nice and convenient. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend for everyone to check it out.

Lovely clean park. Close to the highway but you really didn’t hear the traffic unless you were up at the bridge. Nice staff as well, we’ll go back there!

While the rv park is beautiful the spot I had was not. The space was very boxed in with the bathrooms on one side and hedges on the other. the exterior bathroom lights were very bright .. there should be a warning for this spot when booking. It’s more like a maintenance bay than rv spot.

The staff are polite and professional. The site was clean but the dead grass and dirt were hard to keep out of the RV. There are sites with rock, which would be better. The play grounds are Beach sand which is super fine and sticks to everything. Hard to keep it out of the RV. Kids play sand should be washed, course sand, just like they use in schools.

The location is excellent, as is the view. However there are no activities or anything to do at the KOA. They no longer have a freezer so they don't do ice cream socials, and they also don't carry ice! This was our fourth time there staying in the cabin. Not sure we will make the trip again, it was disappointing. But the view is great, so if you are in an RV your probably good to go.

This is a gem of a find. Wonderful little KOA nestled above an accessible private beach. Great general store for RV needs, food, drinks, souvenirs. In addition to trail to beach, a dog play area is available. Water view spots spectacular, quiet, relaxing. Showers good. Front office staff super friendly.

We love this place and come back every summer. This year we did notice that a lot of people are not picking up after their dogs. We have 3 Frenchies and walked them often but it was disappointing to have to clean up other people's dog feces because they are too lazy to do it themselves. The new dog park area is awesome but after I stepped in dog poop multiple times, We chose to potty elsewhere.

Our stay was great. The only thing I would change would be those showers that you have to constantly have to push the the valve to get 30 secs or so of water. Not a fan neither was my wife.

Nice shower/restroom facilities. Plenty of trees for shade and wind break. Proximity to the highway was the only downside of our stay. Will definitely attempt to rent a cabin next time.

The spaces are pretty tight. We messed up our sway bars backing into our site. There were other sites available that we could have got into easier. I definitely would recommend a pull through site only. On a cheerier note the ladies at the front desk were amazing.

This is a really nice KOA with great sites ... level, more-than-adequate spacing between sites, with nice thick, tall privacy hedges between sites. Great views of Alsea Bay. Our check-in greeting was one of the best that we've had!!!!! A good location from which to explore up-and-down the Oregon coast. We'll stay here again.

The camp is very well maintained and all the employees were so very helpful and super nice. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because in our opinion the store could carry some helpful items: ice is the biggest thing, being tent campers who spent 10 there it was inconvenient to heave to go to town every other day for ice. Also with all the trails around shoe/boot inserts would be nice.

We often stay at KOA’s because they are so family (kids and pets) friendly, but this was quite possibly the least family friendly KOA we have ever been to. Rude workers constantly seemed annoyed with my kids. There were signs to “not rinse sand off in shower”. We booked this spot because it was on the coast and had no where else to rinse sand off. Expensive and catered to old people.

Beautiful views if you get a good site. Beware, some sites are really bad. Some back-ins have no privacy from the neighbor behind you (youre backed in right behind each other with no shrubs) or are right next to a cabin. Our site was right behind the laundry and bathrooms, would not recommend. We came 2 years ago and I’m pretty shocked at how dead all the grass is on the sites. Please water.

Stayed 3 nights. Love this KOA. We had to move for that 3rd night, but it was a great site sir was worth it. Glad to see a Kamp K9 there. It was new to us at this KOA. We'll return next year.

We stayed at this charming CG in May and again in July. This CG is clean, with a very friendly staff. They are very knowledgeable about the area. There’s a river near by that you can enjoy. It’s kid friendly, has a very nice pool and a splash pad for the young and old:). It has a golf course. It’s close to avenue of the giants and the grandfather tree. You won’t be bored, there’s so m

Super friendly check in staff. But site was a disappointment. No privacy from our neighbors - their picnic table was 3-4 feet from our side window. Bathrooms dated. Combo shower/toilet set up means that if 6 people are showering, there are no toilets available. Maybe premium sites have more privacy, but for the price I expected more. This was our first stay at a KOA and we were disappointed.

Very nice place, our cabin was clean, the grounds are very well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful, definitely a huge plus. The morning breakfast sandwiches they offer were really good and helped in the mornings especially with kids, cute little shack. They had several things they offered this weekend (4th of July, 2026) like a kids parade, free ice cream sundaes and s'mores and the little store is pretty reasonable for what I have come to expect. All the staff are friendly and have been very happy to help with any questions we have had. We will have to return soon to enjoy the views and this beautiful little town.

Stopped in for just one night on our road trip. Took the trail from the KOA to the beach and stumbled upon some amazing views and a great Italian restaurant just a 5 minute walk down the beach. Would stay again!
