Waldport/Newport KOA is the cleanest, safest, and best run campground on the Oregon Coast! It's in a beautiful location, and it's easy to get to many attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Sites way too close to each other! No privacy. Tent sites small one with a huge tree root right in the middle that my grandson tripped over three times. Camp is very clean and well maintained though.

Sites are side by side. Tent sites can hold small RV's, pretty roomy. Sorry we did not work out for you.

Only negative issue we had was site 63 where we stayed had a street light shining bright and direct into our campsite ruining the night ambiance. Light needs a shroud so it only shines on the street.

The lights in the campground are way too bright and shine in the RV windows while sleeping. Consider putting shrouds or reducing the intensity to make it more pleasurable.

We were very impressed by all the staff in the site,,, even when I ask if they could help with setting up my tv ,,,,thank you Noah and Noah !!!!! Koa in Waldport is in a excellent location and with amazing views Highly recommend this site ,,, thanks again for a great time !!!! will see you soon Bob and Betsy

The campground was very clean, and everyone was really friendly. My family and I enjoyed my stay here a lot. Would definitely travel back to this KOA.

This was our second stay at this KOA. This time we had a lovely bay view. One side of the site had a hedge, the other offered no privacy from the trailer next to us. This time the bathrooms were out of hand soap and the trash cans were so full that people were dumping bags of trash next to them. The staff were friendly, it's a great location to explore the central coast, and we'll be back!

Glad you enjoyed your view site. We have individual bathrooms, not the dormitory type. They are cleaned all day long. When things run out, then we replace them. A lot of trash flows through this place, but not for you to worry about, we have it covered! Thank you for the comments.

This was our second time staying, and we were able to get a spot looking the ocean it was amazing, the staff is so amazing with great hospitality and recommendations on local restaurants and thing to see in the area. We will most definitely be comming back

People here were very accommodating after our rig broke down in their driveway. We ended up in one of their cabins with a fridge that saved our food from spoiling. Thanks again

Very nice KOA! Clean sites, great staff, and the option for a “made as you order “ breakfast sandwich ….. which was delicious! Plus an easy access to the beach for a stroll.�

This was one of my favorite KOA stays. The location is beautiful and the campground clean and well managed. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff. I felt like family!

Brand new to KOA. First time we have camped at a KOA. Staff were extremely friendly/courteous and helpful. Facilities well maintained and very usable. We joined KOA while we were there, so will not be the last time we use one of the parks.

We were pleased with our campsite setting with a tall hedge between side by side sites. We felt welcomed by the staff. We felt comfortable with the windows up at night and slept well. The park is big and has a unique layout with a short walking distance to the water. A natural dirt trail leads to the beach. Restrooms and public areas are clean. Thanks to the staff for the recommendations!

We had a cottage with views of the bridge and water - GORGEOUS!! Well-kept camp, friendly staff and quality accommodations made this a great stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Had a great stay in a bayview site as usual. I was a bit disappointed that the bathrooms/showers were not very clean but I know it was a busy weekend. Other than that everything was great.

We enjoyed the deluxe patio site with a great view of the bay. The park is clean and run by friendly and helpful people. The only down side is the bright street lights inside the campground and the spots are close together.

Liked the privacy of the bathrooms. We didn’t love the dirt patch we were assigned for our tent. The campsites were also very close.

This site only allows paid guests. No visitors allowed on the site. Outrageous!!!! More “Don’t” Sign’s than any other park. Two pages of don’t listings for pet owners and parents and a waiver to sign. Also, we paid $74.50 per night with only electric, water and sewer. Okay Wifi and No TV. Staff was very friendly.

We do not allow guests on our campground. You have to be a paid and registered camper to use our park. We do have rules and policies we enforce to ensure everyone has a good time. It sounds like we are not the park for you. Thanks for trying us.

Your campground is one of the cleanest, well kept, organized KOA’s/other RV parks we have stayed at over the last 3 years. We have traveled all over the US, so we know what we have experienced. Awesome work!!! Highly recommend!!!!!

They had several things they offered this weekend (4th of July, 2026) like a kids parade, free ice cream sundaes and s'mores and the little store is pretty reasonable for what I have come to expect. All the staff are friendly and have been very happy to help with any questions we have had. We will have to return soon to enjoy the views and this beautiful little town.

Stopped in for just one night on our road trip. Took the trail from the KOA to the beach and stumbled upon some amazing views and a great Italian restaurant just a 5 minute walk down the beach. Would stay again!
