General Campground Information

Tent Camping

For your safety and to provide the best camping experience, tents are only permitted in designated tent areas. Setting up tents on RV or cabin sites is not allowed to ensure all guests have the space and accommodations they need. If you're unsure where to set up, our team is happy to help!

Acknowledgement & Waiver of Liability

IMPORTANT – READ BEFORE BOOKINGBy proceeding with your reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:Acknowledgement and Assumption of RisksI understand that staying at and using the Park involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
  • Property loss or damage
  • Psychological or physical injury
  • Pain, suffering, disability, or death
  • Exposure to bacteria, algae, or disease
  • Drowning, burns, slips, and falls
  • Hazards from terrain, weather, wildlife, pets, fire, vehicles, and other guests
  • Limited access to emergency services

I voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, and agree that I will not participate in any activity while impaired or unfit. I understand that the security of myself, my guests, and our belongings is my responsibility.Release, Indemnity, and Waiver of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • I release and agree to hold harmless the Campground Management from any and all claims, including those arising from negligence, injury, death, property damage, pet incidents, or other losses related to my or my party's stay.
  • I agree to indemnify and defend the Campground from any third-party claims arising from my or my party's conduct or pets.
  • I understand that the Campground provides no warranties or guarantees regarding the condition or safety of the property.

These terms apply to me and anyone in my party, including minors, guests, and legal representatives, and will remain effective for up to four years following the end of our stay.

Barrel Rides

All aboard for a fun-filled adventure! Barrel Rides depart daily at 10 AM from the back porch of the General Store, with an additional 2 PM ride on weekends.
For Kids Only – This experience is just for our younger campers!
Support a Great Cause—We encourage a $0.25 donation per rider to Care Camps, which helps children with cancer enjoy the healing power of camp. Hop in, hold on, and enjoy the ride!

Laundry

Need to freshen up your gear? Our 24-hour laundry facilities are here for your convenience!
Cost: $3 per wash, $3 per dry
Need change? Stop by the office during regular business hours, and we'll be happy to help. Enjoy a clean and comfortable stay!

Requested Site

Want to camp next to friends or with a group? We're happy to help!

Site Requests & Group Bookings: Call the campground to request a specific site or to be placed side by side with friends.
Site-Lock Fee: A $10.00 site-lock charge applies to guarantee your preferred spot. Give us a call, and we'll make your stay just the way you want it!

Office and General Store

We're here to serve you! Stop by for essentials, snacks, and more.

Spring & Fall Hours: Daily 9 AM – 6 PM
Peak Summer Season (Memorial Day – Labor Day Weekends): Daily 8 AM – 8 PM

Hours are subject to change but will always be posted at the office.

Time Zone: We are located in the Eastern Time Zone.

Firewood

Stay warm and keep the campfire going!

We offer kiln-dried, locally sourced firewood for purchase at the General Store for your convenience.

Important: New Hampshire state law prohibits the import of firewood from out of state to help protect our forests.

Cabin Check-In: 4 PM
Check-Out (All Sites & Cabins): 11 AM

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping arrivals and departures smooth for all guests. If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please check with the office for availability.

Visitor Policy

We welcome visitors to enjoy the campground. Upon arrival, all must register at the office to receive a parking pass.

Day Visitors:

  • Adults: $7
  • Children: $4

Overnight Guests:
  • Adults: $10
  • Children: $7

For the comfort and safety of all guests, please ensure your visitors are aware of campground rules.

Golf Cart Policy

Guest golf carts are not permitted in the campground.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, we do not allow personal or outside golf carts on the property.

Site occupancy

Campsites: Per fire code, a maximum of six guests per site is allowed.
Cabins & Other Accommodations: Occupancy limits vary based on the number of beds available.

Quiet Hours

10 PM – 8 AM  Strictly Enforced

To ensure a peaceful experience for all guests, quiet hours are strictly observed from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please be respectful of your neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum during this time.

Enforcement Policy: We reserve the right to ask unruly or disruptive guests to leave without a refund if quiet hours are not respected.

Holiday Weekends

A 3-night minimum stay is required for the following holiday weekends:
  • Memorial Day
  • July 4th 
  • Labor Day 
  • Columbus Day

Open Daily: 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Pool Season: Memorial Day – Labor Day

After-hours check-in process

Arriving Late? No Problem!

If you have a reservation and arrive after the office closes, you'll find a map with your name at the hut, directly across from the first stop sign.

What to Do:

  1. Stop at the stop sign.
  2. Locate the map with your name on it, found at the welcome kiosk to the left of the stop sign.
  3. Proceed directly to your site.
  4. Stop by the office in the morning to complete your registration.

Arriving After 10 PM?
We kindly ask that you keep noise to a minimum and be mindful of your headlights to avoid disturbing other guests.

Linens for Accommodations

Need Linens? We've Got You Covered!

Linens are available for a one-time fee of $25 per bed, which includes:

  • Pillow
  • Sheets
  • Blanket
  • Bath Towel

Linens are not included with accommodation rentals, with the exception of Cherry Mountain Lodge. If you'd like to add linens to your stay, let us know in advance or upon check-in!

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation policy carefully to avoid losing your deposit.

Holiday Weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day)

  • Accommodations & All Other Sites: Cancellations can be made at least 14 days prior to arrival to receive a refund of your deposit less a $20 cancellation fee.

Non-Holiday Weekends
  • Accommodations: 14 days before arrival,  to receive a refund of your deposit less a $20 cancellation fee.
  • Camping Cabins: 7 days before arrival,  to receive a refund of your deposit less a $20 cancellation fee.
  • RV & Tent Sites: 7 days before arrival,  to receive a refund of your deposit less a $20 cancellation fee.

Failure to cancel prior to these timeframes will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!

Pet Policy

We love welcoming furry friends! Please review our pet guidelines to ensure a great experience for all guests.
  • Leash Requirement: Dogs must be kept on a 6-foot leash at all times while on campground property, except inside designated KampK9 areas.
  • Supervision: Pets must be under visual observation and verbal command at all times and cannot be left unattended outside for any reason.
  • Buildings: Pets are not allowed in any of the common buildings, including the general store/office and restrooms.
  • Behavior: Only well-behaved, non-aggressive dogs are allowed.
  • Pet Fee (for pet-friendly accommodations): $50 per pet

Trash and Recycling

To keep our campground clean and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

Trash Pickup: Daily from 9 AM – 11 AM

  • Place bagged trash at the front of your site for pickup.

Dumpsters & Recycling:
  • Trash Dumpster (Green)Located on the map for additional disposal. Do not place Recycling in  the Green trash dumpsters
  • Recycling Stations – Found throughout the campground (see map for locations).
  • Recycling Dumpster (Blue)Do not place trash in the Blue recycling dumpster.

Smoking Policy

For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is prohibited in all buildings on campground property, including but not limited to:
  • All rental accommodations
  • Glamping tents

Violation Fee: If it is determined that smoking has occurred inside a rental, an automatic $250 cleaning fee will be applied.

Campsite Cleanliness & Wildlife Awareness

We are located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, home to black bears and other wildlife. To help prevent unwanted visits, please keep campsites clean and free of food and trash at all times.

Keep Your Site Clean:

  • Remove all trash promptly.
  • Store food and scented items securely, especially when away from your site.

Enforcement Policy:
If food or trash is left unattended, our staff will dispose of these items, and you may be charged a $250 cleaning fee.Your cooperation helps keep both our guests and local wildlife safe.
