I made a reservation for tent camping, and there was plenty of spaces for tents. Not so many vacancies for RV’s though. There was a bathroom and shower. And free water. The grass is very short, so a sleeping pad helps provide cushion from the hard ground. And they are pet friendly too!

We arrived and the front desk girl was very inviting very informative and polite we very easily found our way to our camp spot and set up unfortunately we encountered some bad weather and we had to leave. Thankfully when I spoke to John about the weather issue we encountered he was very nice and generous to refund us for our night stay I felt very cared for and appreciated thank you tucumcariKoa

Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities clean and well taken care of. Love the rec center with cable tv, heat, games, tables and internet.

It was a pleasant stay on my long road trip back home. Showers and bathrooms were well kept and clean. I would like to see healthier trees, I know its the desert and water is scarce but, I think it is worth it for healthier looking trees :) Thanks!

Thank you very much for the feedback and staying with us. When we recently took over the park the trees were very uncared for and untrimmed. The first thing we did was hire a contractor to trim 125 trees to help their health. We will look to add others as well. We look forward to your next visit - J

Camped for the night as we were passing through on our trip. Registering/checking in was easy at the office. As with most KOA's, the nearby highway/interstate hummed all night long and the fees seem a bit high especially with the pool closed (out of season).

We were well accommodated on our late arrival at about 11pm. The facilities were a great relief after spending the night in a tent with 35+ mph wind! The breakfast was seriously delicious. Everything is available: showers, laundry, game room, and store with essentials you may need. Lovely hosts.

Clean quiet and well maintained. Having pancake breakfast made and delivered to our van was a treat! Who does room service at a campground ����!!

We arrived after-hours and easily found our campsite information in a labeled envelope. Campsite was simple and exactly what we needed. Enjoyed the company of a tarantula and scorpion near camp -- fun to see desert wildlife! Showers were conveniently located and easy to use the next morning. Also appreciated the texts with breakfast information and directions. Thanks for going the extra mile!

Enjoyed our stay here. Having the option for breakfast was a nice and convenient surprise. Staff was very helpful and went above and beyond.

Wonderful quiet and peaceful right off the I40 and pleasantly out of the city. The covered tent area were very nicely protected from the rain and wind. The ground where you lay your tent was even and soft they had clean indoor bathrooms with showers and sinks a small dog run and other amenities I will stay here on all my trips from California

Very Clean. Tent sites were large and very accessible. Bathrooms were VERY clean and very easily accessible for the handicapped. Staff went above and beyond to make sure your stay was wonderful. They were so friendly and genuine. Stay for a week or a day, you won't be disappointed.

Good place- not sure why it was 55.00 per night when other KOA were 35.00 for a tent site- Wind was ferocious and tree branch kept rubbing on overhead shelter but all in all ok

Was able to get checked in and find my spot for the nightmare. Did have to sleep in my truck instead of my tent because the wind kept shaking my truck and kept me awake. Was able to shower and keep myself hydrated while I was there. I did get woken up early in the morning by another guest in an rv. They kept slamming their door and was talking pretty loudly during quiet hours.

The cookies, sticker & optional breakfast is a great touch! Woman in office was kind & let me move to a tent site with windbreak and cheerfully refunded the difference between electric/water site that I'd reserved to the primitive site I moved to due to wind. Nice facility & nice folks.

The water spicket at site 84 was so forceful that it sprays all over the user so pressure might need to be curtailed a bit. If the user had a hose to attach this might not be a problem but I don't usually carry a hose when traveling. The 3rd toilet, women's bathroom, was stopped up and not good to use. I say these things to hope improvement is possible. All areas were clean. Thanks

We got a basic tent site, no electricity or water. It had a nice teepee style lean-to type shade with a table underneath. If we are in the area again, we will stay here again.

It is an old location with no upgrades made. The staff was nice!!! I would not stay again until the proper time and money is put into the location.

We stayed 1 night, was a level pad for the motorhome with plenty of space. Picnic table, electric, water. We used the laundry facility. The building was clean, all good working machines, cost of machines very fair. Grounds all maintained and cleaned. Quiet got plenty of sleep. Very friendly and very accommodating staff. 5 star in my book.

June 2020 -Nice place, clean and level spaces Pulled in June of 2025. The park is at less than half capacity. But everyone is stacked up on one aisle. Would be nice if they spread everyone out.
