It was for just overnight , but we have stayed here several times before we like the clean and friendly atmosphere. They keep doing upgrades and makes the campground even better. We Plan on staying here again in the future.

We only stayed one night as we were passing thru, so we didn't really use the amenities. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

Very nice park, grass and trees. We asked for a quiet site and she gave us a great one. We sat outside with a glass of wine and completely enjoyed ourselves. Easy in and easy out. Beautiful views.

Right on old Route 66 this KOA is very clean. Staff is friendly. The sites are generously spaced and it’s very quiet, just some traffic noise from the interstate, which is not bothersome. Would definitely stay here again.

Just was an overnight stay while traveling. I've stayed at Tucumcari KOA many times while traveling. It is always an enjoyable stop and the service is just great!

Old facility, however, clean and well kept. Pleasant single staff member, flat and level spaces. Extremely poor internet connection. Most expensive KOA on West half of I40.

Was a bit disappointed that once we were at our site a couple of hours later the sewer line was overflowing. We had to completely pack up and go to another site, but we had to purchase another sewer line as what we had wasn't long enough at the new site. No compensation. Staff were nice and pleasant.

Good for passing thru for a night. Cable doesn’t work. Grounds need maintaining for sure. “Rec hall” is an empty block building. The girl at check-in is nice. Big park alittle neglected. But I’d stay there again because I think it’s the only rv park in town. The “very nice showers” is a stretch.

We will definitely return in the future when passing thought the area again. Nice quiet campground easily accessible from Interstate 40 and a good spot to spend the night. mw

The good: Site is large with lots of room between campsites. Clean, well kept, quiet. The not so good: Staff seem less than friendly. Dog "runs" are tiny (like 10'x 10') and adjacent to the office, so by the time you get there, there's no point in unleashing.... and there are NO pet waste bins anywhere except the dog run.

Easy and helpful check-in. Site was level and all hookups worked well. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Perfect stopover.

We have stayed at this campground in the past. This time, it appeared more run down. The two trees at the entrance were dying. The picnic tables were weathered and cracking and the men’s showers had clothes strewn in them and low water pressure. Disappointing — especially since we paid at the top end of the KOA’s price for the 8 KOA’s we stayed in during this vacation.

Disappointed. With only two RVs in the whole park, the Host put us right next to another RV with a barking dog. No internet, Host blamed a fire miles and miles away? Fire was out 30/40 plus miles away. Slow check in. No amenities. The showers were clean but small and dated. Very pricey. $79.87 for one night.

Nice place to stay. Has playground and pool for summer activities. My only complaint is I stayed in space 7 and the trees need to be trimmed up. Was a tight fit for our Super C.

I don't like the back to back setup some of the sites have. rig to close to the next. campground in need of maintenance. several light posts were sitting there flapping in the high wind.

We stay here a lot because of the location but the buildings are getting old. My wife’s shower had no hot water and the water in my shower hardly came out. I checked them out later and others work ok. The people are great. Campsites are KOA typical. Depending on the sites, most are gravel & grass and are concrete.

Large pull through sites. Easy check in process, kind staff. Shower/Bathroom was clean. We definitely would consider staying here again.

Everyone is so nice and willing to help if I needed it, which is huge if you are a first time RV’ing. Tucumcari grounds reminded me of when my parents would take us camping during school breaks. Love it!

Somewhat disappointing. They didn’t provide meals as stated on their website. Also, their dump station was closed for the winter but no mention of that on website. Also, it is technically Spring, as we stated in April.

After fleeing a wildfire at our original campsite in nearby Texas, we ended up getting last minute tent sites for our ‘cousin camp'. Because of the fierce wind, I deeply appreciated that the tent sites were sheltered. Bathrooms were clean. The vintage playground was a HUGE hit with all 9 kids - even the teenager :) The staff gave us free cookies when we arrived and when we left, showed me a fire-safe route to take to next my destination. After a very scary experience, I almost cried at their kindness. 10/10 recommend!
