The only thing we did not like is that you are not wheelchair accessible to wheelchair persons that need help showering/ using bathroom.

A most wonderful hostess with a very nice RV Park. Our only small complaint was that it was a pull in forward site. This made it harder to level, but still manageable.

Just stopped for one night on our way to a horse event in Amarillo. Staff was friendly, sites were nice & long for rv towing. Only suggestion I would have is a a couple trash barrels maybe one per row. Roads were kinda narrow for pulling out when big rigs that are towing are parked next to one another. Would stay again for sure. Thanks!

Friendly staff. Highway convenient but no too noisy. We had one of the sites that didn’t have dump but it was more private than the ones that did and had shade trees and was closer to the “lake” where we saw a bobcat! Theres a nice Cherokee gift site within walking distance and you pass a couple of caged buffalo.

We found it to be an expensive lower middle class facility. Constant (day and night) I-40 related noise. Happy to be moving on. No plan to return there.

Even though our stay was only one night, we would definitely stay here again. Park is quite spacious. Has grass, trees, nice view on opposite side of park. Wide open field. Quiet and NO road noise. Easy on/off interstate. The only negative was the dog park. With all the room this property has a larger dog park could easily be developed.

We just came from the western side of the US where even the oldest KOA's were up to or surpass our expectations. This KOA was our worst disappointment . The bathroom stalls in the men's restroom wouldn't lock. The grass needed cutting so the bugs were terrible. Don't even start me on the road noise. I know for convenience close to interstate is prime, we thought it was thundering ALL NIGHT! SORRY

Nice facility, only problem was the weeds in the grass that stuck to my shoes and stabbed my hand when I accidently touched them.

Camp ground was very well kept. The stalf was very friendly and helpful. We will be staying there on our way home.

This was our second time staying at the KOA in Tucumcari. It was quiet and peaceful. It was clean and staff were helpful. I will use this campground again.

It wasn't disclosed that the site did not have a sewer connection. I have never been to a KOA that didn't provide all hookups with a 60' pull thru.

Convenient for a quick overnight stay. Close to the interstate, so it is a bit loud, but not really an issue. Staff was friendly.

Nice big park - easy to find right off the hwy. Staff was very friendly and check in was very easy. Our spot was at the back of the park so it was very quiet! Would definitely stay again if we were passing through!!

We pulled in for 1 night on our way to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta. The weather was very windy & cool. There was a lot of standing water around our site as well as a bunch of sticker burrs that made walking our dogs difficult. The staff was extremely friendly at check-in, but that was the only interaction we had with them. The park needed some updating.

A decent KOA convenient to the interstate and Tucumcari, NM. Gravel roads instead of paved and some new sites in the back with nice level concrete pads. The grass needs to be mowed better, our site, one of the new ones, was covered in stickers and grass that was too tall around the pads. Tons of stickers tracked into the coach and on our pants. This is an easy thing to prevent with weed-eating

Check in lady was fabulous. Sites a bit narrow for a large class A with slides but for a night it works. Overall decent place would stay again.

The front drsk person was very pleasant and professional. The park was nice and well kept. The restroom/showers were clean and functional. The only drawback was, it was heavily raining and they put us in a site that flooded. The next morning we were up to our ankles in water trying to break down our camp. It would have been nice if they had made accommodations for the rain.

John was in the office was super nice! He's from Tonawanda near Buffalo and is a Bills fan, too!!! He used to have the KOA in Placerville, CA, and we stayed there for several months as RN's in 2001. We had a great stay for 2 nights here and rested up on our journey to Savannah, GA.

This is a very nice campgrounds, close to I 40. Has a nice little store, they gave me my welcome paper and 2 chocolate chip cookies 🥳😋 There's playground equipment, pool, shaded picnic table area and lots of walkin space. I use KOA for my turn n burns across country.
