It was ok. Was a cold night, heat in cabin or bathroom was limited. Seem to cost more than other places.

Friend staff/owner, relaxing, comfortable, clean surrounds. The grandkids enjoyed the Cabin, game room, and Playground...and the snacks at the Camp Store. The reference to attend the Dinosaur Museum was a good one! Affordable and well worth the visit.

We loved the option of having breakfast at the cabin. The pancakes were so good! The cabin was already nice and warm when we arrived and stayed warm all night. Everything during our stay was perfect.

Temps overnight were gonna get a little chilly, cabin was well heated, slept very comfortably, campground could use some "facilities" a little closer to the cabins, other than that, it was a good stay....John and his staff are very friendly ����

Clean, warm restrooms. I rented a cabin. The staff went to the extra effort of turning on the wall mounted heater as well as supplying an additional floor standing electric heater hours before my arrival. The temperature low was 13 degrees the night/morning of 11/25-11/26 2023! Extremely friendly staff. My granddaughters loved the cookies at checkout. Hope to return soon!

Just 3 rundown cabins, the rest of the spaces were for tents, rvs, & such. Way overpriced for the cabins.

Clean kabin. We ordered breakfast the day before and it was delivered in the morning on time hot and with coffee. Great staff!!!

Stayed in one of the cabins. Very quiet and comfortable. Cabin/Bathrooms/showers clean. Received a fantastic information sheet, cookies and a sticker on check in. Breakfast is available to order. Will stay again!

Husband had to sleep in car due to dust and cat dander in cabin. Allergies to cats - would not have stayed had we known. Dogs charging me when returning to cabin after bathroom use in morning. Toilet door latches wouldn’t lock. Not a place I will stay at again!

Would suggest working on your cabin cleaning schedule. Having two cabins out of three, sit empty because they haven't been cleaned isn't a very good business model.

The new owners are making efforts to upgrade the campground and it shows. We stayed in one of the cabins, and they are showing their age. It was comfortable, but the would needs to be treated and some repairs need to be made to make it weather tight. The AC in the back bath and showers was out but new parts had been ordered, so no complaints on that. Over all, we enjoyed our visit.

Good for a no frills overnight stay. It’s a bit more worn down than other KOAs we’ve visited, but it’s under new management, so there is potential. The AC was out in back restrooms (compressor on order), and the aging AC unit in our cabin was struggling (it was 100 degrees out). The pool, however, was open (it wasn’t when we passed through last year) and quite refreshing.

We have been staying in KOA cabins for a while and this KOA is real nice about sending text messages. It was highly disappointing to come into this KOA at 105 degrees with no air conditioning running. We requested the air because we were traveling with a senior dog. John said they would have it on before our arrival. The old air conditioner could never keep up once I turned it on.

Person that checked us in was unfriendly. No Fire pit provided, told no fires. Bathrooms were too Hot and not very clean. Stayed in a cabin with a decent view, but there was a place in front of us for a large RV, had one been there it would have blocked our view.

I was impressed with special touches & sprucing up since last time I stayed. The one & only complaint was the young girl at the desk from 3 pm to 8 on Wed 19 th. I was on hold for 20 min when trying to call for reservations. I hung up,called again, no answer at all. I called 800 number & got the last available cabin.Checking in was not the usual professional routine. Breakfast Was a treat.

A/C in cabin didn't keep up with desert heat very well. The rest of the stay was great .Employees were friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean.

A little outdated, but overall a good overnight stay. Close to the interstate but not loud. Free cookie at checkin and free coffee in the office. Cabins overlooked the mountain. Pool was small but clean. Would return if passing through for a night.

The cabin and restroom were clean and well kept. The view from cabin was lovely. However the outdoor grounds reeked of dog urine.

This KOA Journey is a little off the beaten path of the downtown, but in a good way. Very quiet and peaceful. Pretty landscape. Very nice staff. Well maintained property. Most come in and out. We stayed 2 nights and would come back.

We had been driving all day in storms and needed a stop. Stayed for one night. This park is close to the interstate but quiet. The staff are very nice and provided good recommendations on food as we didn't want to cook. The amenities are good for what we needed. Good rest spot along route 66.

Nice grassy camp spots. My dog feels very comfortable here which is unusual.
