Very nice bathrooms, though probably not enough of them, if park is full. Free breakfast was appreciated. Did not order dinner, but saw several campsites that took advantage of that perk. Walking trail was a nice add. Did not receive cookies at check in. Store was very nice and well stocked. T-shirt selection was great.

Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the facility. We spent one night there. Got in after 10pm and left the next morning. It was so nice that we showed up without a reservation and the envelopes were available to choose a site and pay then.

Understand it is under new ownership. Everyone was welcoming. Had a nice stay. The only thing I would say is that the wifi needs to be upgraded.

Reception was great , at my arrival the young lady at the desk was very professional and helpful. Recommended me a restaurant on Sunday. She made a stay enjoyable. Thank you MISS �

The spot between the cabin 2&3 where we were supposed to park our car was very narrow. The air conditioners for both cabins were on that side and there was barely enough room to let ourselves or our dogs out of the car. No way was there enough room to unpack our stuff. The dog park is in terrible condition. The park really needs a face lift.

Just a wonderful overnight stay. New ownership showed through with our personal interaction with all employees. We really liked the breakfast order delivered to our 5th wheel the next morning! Great service and price.

Nice and relaxing accommodations but the wifi was extremely weak. could not open apps, could not open websites. Cable was def a plus. Clean sites and the staff was very nice. I wanted a Tucumcari KOA t-shirt but sadly there were none.the camp info was printed on multi sheets of regular copy paper which was less than desirable. i would def visit again but i would be wifi self efficient.

Their place is so well kempt! Very quiet and WHAT A SUNSET!! We only slept there over night and bumped out early in the morning--so I cant speak to the amenities. We really enjoyed the autonomy when we pulled in and how they were able to accommodate our upgrade to a cabin--lucky, because it was storming that night. Excellent customer service!

We arrived on Friday July 11, 2025 at approximately 5:30pm. The park was practically empty. I asked the girl at the desk if I could have a shady site. She went on to ask about our RV, how many adults and so on. She gave us our site and I asked if we were near the showers? She said yes you are 2 rows back from where we were. We got to our site and absolutely NO SHADE. Very disappointed. Still empty

We stay at the Tucumcari KOA yearly on our way to CA. It is always well maintained, clean and the staff are friendly & knowledgeable. The new larger, level sites are great. Would love to see sites with fenced in patios & trees/shade like some other KOAs we stay at (i.e. Hollbrook & Barstow). We don't mind paying extra for privacy and convenience as we travel with 2 large dogs.

It was clean and had everything we needed for a night. Staff was friendly and helpful. The sites that share a patio are comfortable but you are actually sharing the space. Long term would lack privacy but for a night or two it’s fine.

A very nice KOA. It is close to the freeway as many are, but was amazingly quiet. Very little traffic noise from I-40. We only stayed one night as we were traveling home, but did enjoy our stay.

Its basically a stop over but very nice atmosphere! Very nice staff/owners. Nicely kept park. It was really hot that day and I enjoyed the pool. Its a nice location with beautiful pastoral views.

Nice and clean KOA. I was concerned about how close the site was to the highway but there was a small hill that blocked most of the road noise making it impossible to hear anything while inside our travel trailer. Even outside we didn't hear much. We stayed at one of the 8 concrete 50Amp spots, and I didn't have to level the trailer. At dusk there were a few mosquitos.

Very friendly check in. The hook ups were central in the trailer spot so I was able to use power, wster, sewer.

Love this KOA!! Right off of Rt 40 and RT 66. Wide variety of spots and several recent upgrades to the amenities...including large concrete pull through pads looking out over the North Eastern New Mexico plains!. We always stop here on our way back and forth between the coasts!!

I really hate to dump on a franchised business being privately owned,,,,,,,,,Here’s the big “BUT”——-Both bathrooms were not clean , the back needs to be replaced it’s so bad IMO, and no air conditioning in either bath. We have stayed in a lot of KOAs and this is the worst I have seen so far. Surprised KOA corp does not require better.

One important thing for me is that your office had handicap easy accessibility. I have trouble steps and a lot of the KOA‘s. We have been to have had steps, with no handrails to enter their office. This has been a challenge for me. The pizza dinner available was a very nice blessing for me at this point in our trip. We had a nice pot and a quiet visit and we think this is a great place

Campground is very dated, the grounds are not kept up very well, grass needs to be cut building needs maintenance, painting, etc., no Internet service even though they advertise that they have Wi-Fi, probably not a KOA that I would stay out again

Stayed here overnight in 45' motor home. Huge park. Very clean. Easy in and out. Did not have to unhook tow vehicle. Quick check-in by friendly staff. They do have some concrete pads at back of park. $80 per night did seem a little pricey.

After fleeing a wildfire at our original campsite in nearby Texas, we ended up getting last minute tent sites for our ‘cousin camp'. Because of the fierce wind, I deeply appreciated that the tent sites were sheltered. Bathrooms were clean. The vintage playground was a HUGE hit with all 9 kids - even the teenager :) The staff gave us free cookies when we arrived and when we left, showed me a fire-safe route to take to next my destination. After a very scary experience, I almost cried at their kindness. 10/10 recommend!
