Very nice location near the lake, away from the road. Very nice shower and bathroom, conveniently located a short walk from my tent site. The tent site had running water with a sink and counter plus a power outlet, and the wifi worked great. Really great value for this spot.

The bathrooms and showers were very nice. The hostess was very accommodating and even offered us a place with shade while we were eating as the site we had did not have any and it was very hot. The site we had had very comfy grass for our tent. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

The campground was good. Its was very smoky but that was not in their control from the wildfires. the staff was great, and our overall experience there was very good.

The weather wasn't great for tent camping while I was there, but the campground itself is great! The staff was very friendly! The restrooms were very nice and clean. They have a small general store and a book store, which was nice! Good laundry facilities as well.

The campground is great for RVs but I don't even think tent camping should be offered. It's windy to the point of being unsafe. I loved the grounds and the staff was very kind but wind breaks are needed to make this place more enjoyable.

Great spot for a night on the road! Staff was nice. We chose a beautiful tent site. Bugs were bad! Make sure you have bug spray

Incredible bathroom and shower facilities, and friendly and welcoming staff. Some of the tent area is still under construction but it was great to have a sink with running water and electricity! Half the price of other KOA’s nearby, and nice and quiet. Very close to the lake!

The owners were kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the music on the 1st of July. Their facilities are very good as well. I enjoyed my stay.

Absolutely great location and wonderful campground. Everything is clean and well kept. Bathroom and showers are in great condition. It has a great shop. It’s a nice, easy walk down to to the lake/ drive down to the boat launch. Debbie and Eric are great people so kind and genuinely want to make sure you enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend staying here and I look forward to my future stay.

We reserved a tent site. All the tent spots were a square with sand/gravel as the base. We got there late and had to level out our square before we could set up. Plus there were weeds and trees growing in them. Not fun when it's dark and you just want to set up. Plus only one picnic table for 5 sites.

I didn’t like the combination lock on the rest room. The campground and all facilities were clean & well maintained. Compared to perhaps 50 other KOAs I’ve visited only Rock Springs was less attractive

So sorry you didn't like the locks on the bathroom doors. We placed those for your safety and provide the code to only KOA guests. We are a KOA Journey which provide fantastic views of the mountains and easy access to the lake.

We were vendors at the local Fall Festival and wanted a nice lace to relax at the end of long days. The hot shower in the very clean bathroom was wonderful! The staff in the shop are kind and helpful. I’m sure we’ll be back next year.

I stayed at this KOA several years ago. The tent area on the website shows it in the same location in a quiet spot to the back corner. I understand why the tent spots have been temporarily moved to a different location, but I wished I would have known before making the reservation that tents are right beside the dog park, road to the boat launch and store! Very noisy, no privacy, no rest.

Cute place real close to the lake. The ladies at the front desk were so nice! They have a little library attached to their store that has many books, and a little kids corner. The bathrooms were always clean as well as the campgrounds. My littlest loved the park they also had. The only bummer was there is a fire ban, so no campfires. Overall this is a great place to stay. 10 out of 10!

Clean facilities, friendly staff. The book share and free coffee was an unexpected treat. The location is great but not quite walkable to the lake or to the local burger and ice cream shack - but still nice that its so close.

Very nice and helpful folks. I stayed at a tent site, had plenty of grass, but no trees for shade (I didn’t need this when I stayed there, but sure would have been hot on a calm summer day). Also, the tent sites are very close together. Nice and private bathrooms/showers. I gave a 4 star rating strictly based on the tent accommodations, but the staff gets an A+.

Don't stay here if you are tent camping. The "tent sites" are in a patchy spot of grass, and each one is only large enough to park your car, with no additional parking. Half of them did not even have fire rings. It appears a small dog park was "converted" into the tent sites. However, this seems like a fine location if you have a trailer. People seemed nice and bathrooms and showers were great.

I really like the koa here in Townsend, Deb and her husband, are Great people and very friendly folks. The bathrooms and showers are always clean , And they have a few laundry machines, that work great . And also a nice store with a lot of walleye tackle and various R.V.stuff that's essential 👍

I was thinking of writing a bad review so you guys would stay away from this amazing small restaurant. There's often a wait line if you go after 8pm …but ohhh so worth the wait. The food and the dynamic duo…Anna and Miguel make it a super enjoyable dining experience. Pizza is outstanding …thin and crunchy and the burrata will melt in your mouth with the thinly sliced prosciutto. When I'm in Miami I go as often as I can…and NO…I dont tell anybody anymore. STAY AWAY…..more for me!

Beautiful camp, very clean facilities ( showers and toiletts) and well equipped. Lovely landscape, close ro the river. There is also a nice convenient shop and the hosts were very helpfull!!!
