We stayed here for 2 months, Had a wonderful stay! Owners (Debbie and Justin), were Terrific! Property is very well kept. We talked several times with staff, they were always friendly and helpful. We camp 365 days a year and this is one of the best places we have been! Would stay here again!

The campground is clean and quiet. Nice facilities and there was live music a few nights we were there that was very enjoyable. We’ve stayed in several KOAs and this is one of our favorites.

Nice campground close to the lake. Overall layout seems backwards as the camp spaces are opposite the lake view. Too late to change it now but the staff are friendly and services are good. Good food nearby.

Our stay was only one night. It is a no frills KOA, meaning no swimming pool, etc. Very easy to put your boat in for a day of fishing! We would definitely stay here again.

koa employees are nice but the park is run down and tons and tons of mosquitoes a good spray is in order

Thank you for the shout out to the employees!! This KOA is open all year and is located 500 yards from a 38 mile lake. In December there are no mosquitos!

Second time staying there. Very friendly staff, everyone was very friendly. I love the home made bratwurst in the local supermarket in Townsend. We recommend this KOA and will stay here again. All the hook up are very well maintained. Easy pulp through sites. The lake is just down the road and a great walking path just down the road. The store has everything you need and there is a bar.

My stay is almost 1 month. I highly recommend this clean and very quiet, peaceful campground. The owners Debbie and Justin are very helpful and kind, and helped me setup as i have some physical challenges. Sometimes food trucks & live music on weekends is a plus. My furry boy loves the doggy park. The way the park is set up provides a beautiful view for all and quick access to lake. 10 stars !

I has a great stay with my dog in our new trailer. Great shop, peaceful area, friendly neighbors. Nice spots that aren’t cramped. Close to the lake & restaurant, coffee spot. Thank you! Lucy Davis Creatives, PUZZLES.

Stayed at E4. Basically a road. Vehicles driving through constantly on both sides of RV. Very friendly staff and I did not complain but those sites should be blocked off from traffic.

Thank you for your feedback! I have been blocking those sites from use except for the rare occasion I have no other spaces available or there is a very long trailer.

Justin & Debbie make you feel like your at home. We highly recommend staying with them. If there is something you need they will go out of there way to help. The staff is bye far the best when it comes to customer service. Very knowledgeable in just about everything from fishing, biking and anything outdoors! I believe the word friendliness is defined as Canyon Ferry Lake KOA in Townsend Mt!!

We stayed 1 night - the 4th KOA on our trip from Ohio to Glacier National Park. This KOA ranks THE BEST experience we have had. Great location, sites, amenities and super friendly managers. Thank you! We hope to come back.

Awesome campground. Beautiful views, friendly staff and very peaceful. Conveniently stocked store with all your necessities for camping, fishing or games for having fun. Food trucks and live bands. Pure gas for the bigger toys. Highly recommended as a summer camping stop!

I had been there since April. It’s a beautiful area of Montana. Quiet small town area and the people are amazing. The owners our great. Clean well kept great place. I’d still be there if my employer had been able to extend my contract.

It was very nice to be back at the Townsend Ferry Lake KOA. It is in a generally quiet, remote area and has a homey feel. The internet was not too great and that kept me from some editorial work, but I managed well enough. I like the place very well.

Staff was friendly but grounds were very disappointing. There were lots of weeds & planters over grown. It was camping in a gravel parking lot not inviting or appealing

I booked here instead of down the road because I needed wifi to check in with work and read emails, etc. nothing fancy. Bottomline is the wifi could not support the camp. I could not even log on to the wifi it was so congested. Second issue is My electrical box stopped working in the middle of the night. Never reported because I was so frustrated. But, garbage pick up, and the new shower is nice.

The internet was sporadic and the men’s showers were too cool. We enjoyed our stay and came last year as well. Very nice staff! Will be back again.

This is an extremely windy area. RV site was reasonably level. Definitely nicer than the nearby public campground.

I really like the koa here in Townsend, Deb and her husband, are Great people and very friendly folks. The bathrooms and showers are always clean , And they have a few laundry machines, that work great . And also a nice store with a lot of walleye tackle and various R.V.stuff that's essential 👍

I was thinking of writing a bad review so you guys would stay away from this amazing small restaurant. There's often a wait line if you go after 8pm …but ohhh so worth the wait. The food and the dynamic duo…Anna and Miguel make it a super enjoyable dining experience. Pizza is outstanding …thin and crunchy and the burrata will melt in your mouth with the thinly sliced prosciutto. When I'm in Miami I go as often as I can…and NO…I dont tell anybody anymore. STAY AWAY…..more for me!

Beautiful camp, very clean facilities ( showers and toiletts) and well equipped. Lovely landscape, close ro the river. There is also a nice convenient shop and the hosts were very helpfull!!!
