Had to sign a release saying I couldn’t blame the park for anything - Made me feel like I had a Criminal KOA Rap sheet for my over 50 different stays all over the USA

After having just been to the Cody KOA Holiday with a clean, well manicured campground that offered a pool, jacuzzi, playground area free from weeds, our expectations were high.. unfortunately KOA Journey in Townsend lacked a lot in that they had an over abundance of weeds

Easy access to all sites, all pull through, and very close to the lake were both great advantages. Hosts are very friendly, and were correct about "must try the Huckleberry ice cream". Restrooms and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. Easy to explore Helena from here. If you're looking for remote and quiet, this is it.

As always, a friendly quiet place to stay. Great fishing right next door, large sites for boats, tow vehicles and 40 ft rigs!

Wonderful hosts! Pretty level sites. Near the lake & can see it. Leash rules for pets very lax. Quiet hours not enforced- we had to turn a fan on to block noise outside while trying to sleep. Good option for one night, considering…

Nice KOA. Not as nice as some others I've stayed at but it was good. The only thing that was unpleasant was the site next to us where pot smokers at the smell bothered me. As far as the camp site we stayed at it was very clean and the whole park was clean The bathrooms were also very clean. I would stay there again

The individual bathrooms are very nice and well kept. Level sites, but minimal shade. Trees are planted so it’s coming.

Stay was great (other than the crazy heat!), campground was clean and the staff where very helpful and courteous. Wish the wi-fi was little better due to having to answer some work emails, but that's Ok; campers can't always get what they want :)

We enjoyed our stay, great people, clean restrooms and very close to the Lake. Easy to get in and out of. We will make this one of our yearly stays.

we made this an overnight stop on our way to Yellowstone, and it was perfectly fine for that. Not much around, and since the lake had an algae breakout it was not useable. Not the campground's fault, but there really wasn't anything else to do in the immediate area.

The campground was clean and tidy. Easy to park in the pull thru areas. Rest rooms were very clean and accessible. Staff were beyond helpful and kind. Great place to stay.

Debbie is always working to improve areas left in need after she purchased the property. She is a hard worker and very welcoming to her guests.

I wasn’t impressed. I’ve stayed at other KOAs and this Koa doesn’t measure up. Dean was super friendly and professional - but I feel like the grounds are just being left in the Stone Age. We stayed for 5 days - and it is a beautiful location - however - most sites are just gravel and weeds. Yes, I had a picnic table and fire pit - but that’s it - I normally rave about KOAs- sorry

Mosquitoes, dogs barking all night, and the little bit of grass has not been cut at all this year. Our table was broken. Not to the standard we expect from KOA!

Campground was fine but our stay was ruined by people next to us who had dogs that were allowed to run free and defecate all over our site. When will KOA ever accommodate visitors who don't have dogs and who are allergic to dogs? When will they ever remove these rule breakers?

I really like the koa here in Townsend, Deb and her husband, are Great people and very friendly folks. The bathrooms and showers are always clean , And they have a few laundry machines, that work great . And also a nice store with a lot of walleye tackle and various R.V.stuff that's essential 👍

I was thinking of writing a bad review so you guys would stay away from this amazing small restaurant. There's often a wait line if you go after 8pm …but ohhh so worth the wait. The food and the dynamic duo…Anna and Miguel make it a super enjoyable dining experience. Pizza is outstanding …thin and crunchy and the burrata will melt in your mouth with the thinly sliced prosciutto. When I'm in Miami I go as often as I can…and NO…I dont tell anybody anymore. STAY AWAY…..more for me!

Beautiful camp, very clean facilities ( showers and toiletts) and well equipped. Lovely landscape, close ro the river. There is also a nice convenient shop and the hosts were very helpfull!!!
