Great hosts!! Good laundry facilities! Small dog run! Covered in beautiful huge trees! Some people don't like the close freeway and train noise but it only made me sleep deeper.

The campground is pretty much all gravel. There is 1 tree between each site, that didn’t provide much shade. It’s right next to a busy road. It looked like most of the campers were full timers, so there was a lot of stuff around their rigs that made it seemed junky. This campground would be ok for 1 night, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

This was our least favorite KOA that we’ve stayed in. The campground is beat and needs some cleaning and landscape work. At least clean up all the dead leaves. We couldn’t leave fast enough. Needed propane & nobody there was certified to operate it.

This campground worked for us but seemed like it wasn't very well "loved". The grass could use some watering all around the campground; that would spruce it up a bit. the folks at the office were GREAT! And Cindy made some AMAZING brownies & carrot cakes that were made available to the campers. We met the nicest gentleman (Mr. Smitty) that was in the space next to us. We will be keeping in touch.

We have been staying at KOA campgrounds all across the US and this is one I would never recommend. The sites are mainly seasonal campers, it is very dusty, no trees, very few amenities and was just okay for a 1 night stop. Their page of rules and associated fines was ridiculous considering it wasn’t a first class campground.

Everyone there is super nice and friendly!!! Multiple bathrooms are always clean. Lake is a 2 minute walk away. Nice place to get away and relax

Great place to take a break. Tons of activities near the campground, right between Glacier and Yellowstone N to South. The camp itself was clean, spacious, family fun, and had welcoming staff. Thanks

i loved this KOA. The camp hosts were super friendly! They have a patio garden that is really nice and the lake view and access is fantastic!

The campground appears to be unkept. The sites are gravel with weedy sparce grass patches. Alot of what appears to be fulltimers that the sites are also unkept. We pulled in and checked in, the lady behind the counter was nice but very short. Really did not feel welcomed. We pulled into our site hooked up power, locked all the outside cabinets and tow vehicle and hunkered down for the evening

It was one of the dirtiest, plain, KOA parks we have stayed in this trip, over 7000 miles traveling. It needs some improvement. There seems like a lot of full timers, in not so nice rigs. It could be cleaned up a lot and made to look neater, in it's appearance. Customers service in the office was excellent.

We did not like our stay here. I think we were not aware that there is a difference in the types of KOA campgrounds. We like the Holiday style more. We found it not inviting enough to sit outside, some green space between the campgrounds will make it feel like your not sitting right under your neighbours slide out.

Worse KOA we have ever stayed at . Dry weeds everywhere . My husband did say the bathrooms were clean . The lady at the front desk was not nice . We didn’t even want to walk around outside

We had sit E03 with no table on fire pit. The persons on E02 we parked so close to us we couldn't extend our awning. The E04 site had car traffic within 2-3 feet of our camper. And an overnighter in E04 was close enough to touch our the window. It was not a very pleasant 4 day stay. Staff was great...

Thank you for your comments. In the future I will close off some of those sites to provide more space between campers.

Unfortunately, the space user next to us was growing a garden between spaces, and watering of his “garden” used our area to do so and created our camping space to be muddy and wet, with puddles with mud, which got on our shoes, tracked into our RV, and limited us use of our space and because of the constant wet sand and dirt we were not able to lay out our camping rug.

We enjoyed our stay. The service is awesome and the restroom/showers are always clean. Access to the campsites are very easy to get in and out of with our trailer. We have booked another trip for later this summer it was so nice.

Great access to lake. Nice little store with reasonable prices. Friendly folks! Women’s bathroom was nice. Great big shower stalls, plenty of space for your things. Bathroom was clean, no oders. Campsites had a little shade. Easy pull thru. Quiet and peaceful at night. Lots of long time campers. Quick drive to Townsend if you want to explore. Great little town.

I really like the koa here in Townsend, Deb and her husband, are Great people and very friendly folks. The bathrooms and showers are always clean , And they have a few laundry machines, that work great . And also a nice store with a lot of walleye tackle and various R.V.stuff that's essential 👍

I was thinking of writing a bad review so you guys would stay away from this amazing small restaurant. There's often a wait line if you go after 8pm …but ohhh so worth the wait. The food and the dynamic duo…Anna and Miguel make it a super enjoyable dining experience. Pizza is outstanding …thin and crunchy and the burrata will melt in your mouth with the thinly sliced prosciutto. When I'm in Miami I go as often as I can…and NO…I dont tell anybody anymore. STAY AWAY…..more for me!

Beautiful camp, very clean facilities ( showers and toiletts) and well equipped. Lovely landscape, close ro the river. There is also a nice convenient shop and the hosts were very helpfull!!!
