KOA should be embarrassed by this park. I’ve never had a high opinion of KOAs and this place confirms why. It’s overpriced for small sites (ours didn’t even have a sewer hookup). The weeds are tall throughout the park and the kid who that checked us in couldn’t hardly speak English wasn’t that friendly.

Tired after vending food at the Red Ants Pants Music festival and this KOA is a great place to stay after the festival and on the way home.

The cabin itself was clean and check in was easy. But the entire campground is gravel and has no real beauty or appeal. My cabin had a birds nest above the door corner and spider webs everywhere. There was no enforcement of courtesy rules of other campers and a teenager ran the front desk. Campers next to me were blaring music, shouting cuss words and ramming their porch swing into the cabin.

Lights for the men’s showers were inoperable. The woman who assisted with purchasing propane was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

We had a vehicle mishap so needed to find a place to stay quickly. We called after 7 pm and was able to get a spot within 1 minute and made it there quickly. It was a comfortable stay and we would stay again. Only critique I can find is wishing there was a little air conditioning in the restroom/shower cabin but not a deal breaker

There was no easily available garbage collection point. We arrived at approx 9pm, no one there, very poor directions, bad cell phone service...nice people in the office

It was easy to get around through the campers. It was quiet at night . Bathrooms were clean. KOA employees were very helpful and we needed to borrow a ladder and they were very accommodating!

Nice place nice staff. Needs to figure something out for garbage. Could not find a dumpster. Use a locked gate or something that prevents random boaters from driving in and throwing garbage, but still allows those staying at the campground to have garbage. Thanks!

The cabins were very nice, the tent sites make you feel like you’re camping in a parking lot they forgot about.

It is close to the lake. The cabin is perfect for 1 maybe 2 people. The staff woman in the KOA store was rude other than that pleasant staff. Cost is a huge benefit for someone who is looking for a cheaper option

Stayed in cabin 5 and its front porch is the direct path to the playground. Would be great if you had kids but not so much if your retired and want to enjoy your space.

It’s great there. It’s quiet. It’s nice. It’s friendly. The staff are great they have everything you need. I’m so glad I found that spot and decided to stay there. They have short-term they have long-term. They got cabins they got everything. I can’t think of any other place. I’d wanna stay in the Helena Valley.

This is a nice, friendly place where we have stayed numerous times. I just wish the weather had been better, but that is not the responsibility of the KOA! Keep up the good work.

Nice people, nice place. Annoying that the gas pump is never on. Our picnic table was in pieces and not usable.

We always enjoy our stay at the Canyon Ferry KOA. It is right up the road from lake access and if you don't have a boat, that's ok! There are a couple of great day-use areas for fishing and swimming just right down the road. Restrooms are super clean and safe - keycode to get in. There is a HUGE playground for the kids, and the campground store is well-stocked. Staff is great!

I'm a traveling musician on tour and I booked one night at this KOA. They were kind enough to comp me my site in exchange for entertaining their camp guests. It was a beautiful evening of songs and stories and we all had a great time! Thank you KOA!!

Our reservation was messed up and even though campground fixed that and made it right, the park is a dump of long term renters with junk piled all over. This KOA is one of the saddest campgrounds ever. NOT what we expect from a KOA….needs corporate review of franchise!

The front office staff was very welcoming. They provided us with a lovely welcome bag with fun treats and maps. The bathrooms were clean and the cabins were comfortable.

Amazing bathrooms yes it's dusty and there's not a lot of trees and it's dry it's in the middle of a valley in Wyoming what else would you expect if you read the bad reviews I would bet a million dollars that they were left by people driving million dollar RVs or somebody with a silver spoon in their mouth staff was super nice I drove through the other KOA this one's so much better also live music

Debbie was extremely accommodating & friendly prior to arrival! We had 3 families meeting from 2 states & she made sure we were grouped together. Everyone at the location was very friendly & helpful. The restrooms could use a bit more detail cleaning. No one likes to avoid touching walls because you're not sure what's there! ; ) The "mattresses" are a bit rough. Overall, a great stay!

The campground is great all the shower rooms and bathrooms need serious help. I tried to shower went in at 9:30 by 9:38 no hot water, hair full of shampoo. I about froze to death. The floors are rotten through I was afraid I would fall through and get seriously hurt. Please put some money into the shower/restrooms. No heat in the big shower and took forever for warm water. We will be back 1 more t

I was thinking of writing a bad review so you guys would stay away from this amazing small restaurant. There's often a wait line if you go after 8pm …but ohhh so worth the wait. The food and the dynamic duo…Anna and Miguel make it a super enjoyable dining experience. Pizza is outstanding …thin and crunchy and the burrata will melt in your mouth with the thinly sliced prosciutto. When I'm in Miami I go as often as I can…and NO…I dont tell anybody anymore. STAY AWAY…..more for me!

We needed somewhere to stay for a wedding while on a budget. We chose a camping cabin. It was adorable. A full or queen size bed (I'm not sure the difference) and twin sized bunk. Heat, ac, microwave, keurig, toaster, ceiling fan with lights, a table and chairs, multiple outlets, a grill, a patio in additionto the porch, additional outdoor seating to the swing, and a fire ring! This one was so clean! It had a real door knob and deadbolt and was sealed so bugs didn't frequently overnight with us. There are multiple bathrooms available with hot water and showers- very clean. The playground is right there and fun for a preschooler or older kid. I was worried because I tried to call to confirm a late check in and it went to an answering machine. However, when we arrived late the late check in box was incredibly easy to find and there was a cute little welcome bag in it! So the owner/ host definitely checks your special accommodations made online. It's quiet and you can see the stars so well. I'm not sure why we'd be out here again, but if we are we will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family! I am beyond happy with this accommodation as well as the price!

Very uneventful this time of year. Paperwork was left out for us and the office was closed when we arrived. Bathrooms were clean. Laundry was closed while we were there
