I love the park, the staff and the location. However, the wifi did not work, the garbage bins are on the other side of the park, and there is no recycling. You also need to have doggie bag waste sites throughout the park.

We arrived at Townsend KOA after several weeks of working on road. The entire time we were asked (rudely) if we were guests while out. There are many permanent residents that park boat trailers on one side of camper and vehicle on the other side, leaving no room for a big rig to get through. We witnessed 2 big rigs stop, ask them to move a vehicle. No dryers working. Would not stay here again.

These are the cleanest bathrooms & showers at any KOA I’ve been at. The women’s has extra shelves, hooks, a bench, & most important the toilet isn’t right next to the shower where stuff might fall in. Smells good, floor is wood with nice paneling. Bathrooms stalls so clean. Separate dishwashing area, they did “donuts for dad” on father’s day and they were gourmet donuts. Park was quie

We arrived after the office was closed but our lot information was waiting for us. The facilities were very clean and nice. It was a beautiful campground with lovely views of the lake. The campground was very quiet as well. Definitely recommend staying here.

Owner was terrific! Cabin we rented was clean! Odd, I called to reserve a cabin, the gal said no cabins available !! I Asked if I could leave my number to be called if someone canceled, she said no, no one will cancel! I went on line 3 cabins were available. I booked on line! I am a retired KOA employee, we want this KOA to do well!!! Hope this info helps as you train your employees!!!

We had an excellent end spot that overlooked the plains and was great for sunsets! The staff at check-in was exceptional nice and the store was very well stocked. The bathrooms were extremely clean and I loved their decor! We didn't use the laundry facilities, so I can't comment on that. Very close to Canyon Ferry Lake which was nice to visit at sunset too! We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice and helpful folks. I stayed at a tent site, had plenty of grass, but no trees for shade (I didn’t need this when I stayed there, but sure would have been hot on a calm summer day). Also, the tent sites are very close together. Nice and private bathrooms/showers. I gave a 4 star rating strictly based on the tent accommodations, but the staff gets an A+.

The park was pretty clean however there is not much to do. Unless you are going with a boat to do some fishing that is about all there is. Tried to do some laundry while we stayed there but they only have 2 washers and dryers and 1 of each was not working. If you are trying to be a destination resort you need to provide the very basic service of a working laundry area.

Needs lots or work. Site we were in, expected to drain uphill as the drain was 10 inches above the outlet on our motor home. I had to physically drain the hose from time to time. Skinny grass for the table. Staff very helpful. Was wanting to do laundry, as was advertized, but dryers on back order until August. Would think if you advertise, you perform, but, guess not.

If you have a camper on the larger side (ours is 42ft) the sites are pretty tight. We couldn’t park our truck next our camper as we usually can. The sites only have about 6ft of space between them which have a picnic table and small round fire pit in that area. Just wish there was a little more space between the sites so it didn’t feel so squished together...otherwise it was pretty nice and cl

We have stayed in worse KOAs and much better. The "dog park" is a mess, limited shower facilities, the utility hook-up area was unfinished (piles of dirt and rocks) upon our arrival and even after they worked on it, it was dangerous to walk on, no security lights, dog poop throughout the park, need to emphasize site boundary's to ensure others don't walk thru sites. Staff was friendly, nice store.

This was our first stay at the Townsend KOA. We were there for 10 days to enjoy spring fishing on Canyon Ferry Lake. The sites were nice. All are pull-thru with plenty of room for our RV, truck, and boat. The store is stocked with a good selection of fishing and camping supplies along with, food, pop, and beer. The new owners are very nice and helpful. We plan to return soon.

Don't stay here if you are tent camping. The "tent sites" are in a patchy spot of grass, and each one is only large enough to park your car, with no additional parking. Half of them did not even have fire rings. It appears a small dog park was "converted" into the tent sites. However, this seems like a fine location if you have a trailer. People seemed nice and bathrooms and showers were great.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was nice. I was given 2 pages of rules to follow but upon reviewing the rules, it became evident that a lot of the permanent residents do not follow the rules. The dog park could use some work.

Check in was easy, fast and friendly. They emphasize quiet and the park was very peaceful. The views are fantastic. They were doing modifications to the park, so a couple bathrooms were closed and things were a little torn up for plumbing updates. But that's to be expected in off season camping. It should be good soon. The green spaces are very small.

I really like the koa here in Townsend, Deb and her husband, are Great people and very friendly folks. The bathrooms and showers are always clean , And they have a few laundry machines, that work great . And also a nice store with a lot of walleye tackle and various R.V.stuff that's essential 👍

I was thinking of writing a bad review so you guys would stay away from this amazing small restaurant. There's often a wait line if you go after 8pm …but ohhh so worth the wait. The food and the dynamic duo…Anna and Miguel make it a super enjoyable dining experience. Pizza is outstanding …thin and crunchy and the burrata will melt in your mouth with the thinly sliced prosciutto. When I'm in Miami I go as often as I can…and NO…I dont tell anybody anymore. STAY AWAY…..more for me!

Beautiful camp, very clean facilities ( showers and toiletts) and well equipped. Lovely landscape, close ro the river. There is also a nice convenient shop and the hosts were very helpfull!!!
