Nice campground close to the lake. Overall layout seems backwards as the camp spaces are opposite the lake view. Too late to change it now but the staff are friendly and services are good. Good food nearby.

Our stay was only one night. It is a no frills KOA, meaning no swimming pool, etc. Very easy to put your boat in for a day of fishing! We would definitely stay here again.

Always a pleasure to stay there, staff is great along with the cozy cabins. Minutes from the lake, gorgeous sky at night with a bbq , fire pit and chairs. Thank You again !

koa employees are nice but the park is run down and tons and tons of mosquitoes a good spray is in order

Thank you for the shout out to the employees!! This KOA is open all year and is located 500 yards from a 38 mile lake. In December there are no mosquitos!

The grounds are not kept up weeds everywhere a fish cleaning sink would be appreciated. Dog park or run has no water in pool if there is any it's hot. Bathrooms were dirty should be cleaned everyday. Grass is dry and brown could use water.. probably would stay again because love fishing Canyon Ferry Lake.

Thank you for the feed back. I wanted to let you know our bathrooms are cleaned a minimum of one time per day. Twice a day minimum when its busy. We removed the fish cleaning station because of public health concerns.

Second time staying there. Very friendly staff, everyone was very friendly. I love the home made bratwurst in the local supermarket in Townsend. We recommend this KOA and will stay here again. All the hook up are very well maintained. Easy pulp through sites. The lake is just down the road and a great walking path just down the road. The store has everything you need and there is a bar.

This is our second summer staying here and we love it! Owner and Staff are fantastic and treat you like gold. Cabins are immaculate, great playground for kids. Just a calm and peaceful place to soak up Montana !! Thank You again

Excellent owner, Debbie, made sure we had availability to plug in our EV (Tesla), for charging at alternate (un-used) sites with 50amp/30amp pedestal. Also, she gave us a 25% discount on our "Glamping RV" that we rented for our 3 night stay, because one of the 2 AC units was out of service (but provided fans, etc).

My stay is almost 1 month. I highly recommend this clean and very quiet, peaceful campground. The owners Debbie and Justin are very helpful and kind, and helped me setup as i have some physical challenges. Sometimes food trucks & live music on weekends is a plus. My furry boy loves the doggy park. The way the park is set up provides a beautiful view for all and quick access to lake. 10 stars !

Great overnight stay in their "Glamping RV!" Nice open campground; Debbie and Justin were great and bent over backwards to welcome us. Hope to get back there again soon with our own camper.

Stayed at E4. Basically a road. Vehicles driving through constantly on both sides of RV. Very friendly staff and I did not complain but those sites should be blocked off from traffic.

Justin & Debbie make you feel like your at home. We highly recommend staying with them. If there is something you need they will go out of there way to help. The staff is bye far the best when it comes to customer service. Very knowledgeable in just about everything from fishing, biking and anything outdoors! I believe the word friendliness is defined as Canyon Ferry Lake KOA in Townsend Mt!!

We stayed 1 night - the 4th KOA on our trip from Ohio to Glacier National Park. This KOA ranks THE BEST experience we have had. Great location, sites, amenities and super friendly managers. Thank you! We hope to come back.

Awesome campground. Beautiful views, friendly staff and very peaceful. Conveniently stocked store with all your necessities for camping, fishing or games for having fun. Food trucks and live bands. Pure gas for the bigger toys. Highly recommended as a summer camping stop!

I had been there since April. It’s a beautiful area of Montana. Quiet small town area and the people are amazing. The owners our great. Clean well kept great place. I’d still be there if my employer had been able to extend my contract.

It was very nice to be back at the Townsend Ferry Lake KOA. It is in a generally quiet, remote area and has a homey feel. The internet was not too great and that kept me from some editorial work, but I managed well enough. I like the place very well.

This KOA is in a great location if you are looking for a base to back country camp, or day hike from. The bathrooms were mostly clean most of the time (nothing can be perfect). I stayed in a cabin and the amenities were fine. A larger fridge would have been nice, but the AC worked well, as well as the space heater. Staff were polite and friendly, and the camp store is large. Laundry is good!

I booked here instead of down the road because I needed wifi to check in with work and read emails, etc. nothing fancy. Bottomline is the wifi could not support the camp. I could not even log on to the wifi it was so congested. Second issue is My electrical box stopped working in the middle of the night. Never reported because I was so frustrated. But, garbage pick up, and the new shower is nice.

The internet was sporadic and the men’s showers were too cool. We enjoyed our stay and came last year as well. Very nice staff! Will be back again.

I was thinking of writing a bad review so you guys would stay away from this amazing small restaurant. There's often a wait line if you go after 8pm …but ohhh so worth the wait. The food and the dynamic duo…Anna and Miguel make it a super enjoyable dining experience. Pizza is outstanding …thin and crunchy and the burrata will melt in your mouth with the thinly sliced prosciutto. When I'm in Miami I go as often as I can…and NO…I dont tell anybody anymore. STAY AWAY…..more for me!

We needed somewhere to stay for a wedding while on a budget. We chose a camping cabin. It was adorable. A full or queen size bed (I'm not sure the difference) and twin sized bunk. Heat, ac, microwave, keurig, toaster, ceiling fan with lights, a table and chairs, multiple outlets, a grill, a patio in additionto the porch, additional outdoor seating to the swing, and a fire ring! This one was so clean! It had a real door knob and deadbolt and was sealed so bugs didn't frequently overnight with us. There are multiple bathrooms available with hot water and showers- very clean. The playground is right there and fun for a preschooler or older kid. I was worried because I tried to call to confirm a late check in and it went to an answering machine. However, when we arrived late the late check in box was incredibly easy to find and there was a cute little welcome bag in it! So the owner/ host definitely checks your special accommodations made online. It's quiet and you can see the stars so well. I'm not sure why we'd be out here again, but if we are we will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family! I am beyond happy with this accommodation as well as the price!

Very uneventful this time of year. Paperwork was left out for us and the office was closed when we arrived. Bathrooms were clean. Laundry was closed while we were there
