This is the first KOA that was below standards and we have stayed at many. We checked into our Deluxe Cabin and the toilet was broken. The office put us into another DC and the shower handle was broken, the deadbolt was inserted upside down and an overall appearance of unclean. We chose not to stay and didn't get a refund (over $500). I don't recommend this KOA to anyone.

Delux cabin: sliding door would not work. Curtains did not cover the windows. Blind on door window was missing many slates, bottom 12” was not covered. No matches to light the gas cook stove. The cushions on the futon were so thin it was practically impossible to sleep on it. Only a partial tool of toilet tissue with no spare one.

We had a fantastic stay in a cabin with bathroom! It was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. Our doggie included, the staff was welcoming and helpful to us. The entire park is well maintained. It was our first KOA experience and visit to the Space Center. Great time! We will be back! :)

Stayed in deluxe cabin. Definitely could benefit from some maintenance. Many light bulbs were out, front door blind broke w/missing slates, bedroom door broke would not slide, toilet constantly ran, no screens in windows to open when it was cool, burners on grill need to be cleaned heat did not spread evenly, and the campgrounds wifi needs to be upgraded --- could NOT connect the entire stay.

Cabins were very dirty .And very buggy .No soap to wash your hands .Floors were so dirty.Bugs were in the cabins. No activity for children. I would never stay there again.

We have stayed there a few times, and we love it , truly, it's close to the highway , it's quite . We enjoy the squirrels , they come and visit us , we love it .

We stayed in the cabin and it was so awesome! It was perfect for my family and our little dog too! I loved the porch and the area on the side of the cabin with grill, fire pit, and a sitting area. We will definitely be visiting again! It was also close to our family we were there to visit.

I see that improvements are being made to the campsite by adding additional camper pads. But it seems that the maintenance of the cabins is lacking. Cabin one is missing siding and has been like that for a couple of years. The pocket door is broken. The air conditioner went out during a heat wave. Couldn't reach an attendant until the next day. Had to sleep in my car. Staff are friendly.

There were a lot of full time trailers in which the grounds around them were not kept up with, from the weeds to the stuff sitting outside. As an RV traveler, not my taste to stay were full time trailer areas are not kept up. There was some digging going on, or had gone on, and the project stopped, this was not the best, but overall, one of the nicer KOA parks. I would stay again.

Stayed in a cabin which was very nice. Bathhouse closes by as well as all the amenities. Nice pool, very friendly and helpful staff. We plan to come back in January.

We’re not happy that as we were walking to the bathroom a prostitute was walking around the campground. We have kids and we ended up checking out early. Didn’t feel like it was a good environment. We have stayed at different koa’s in the past and have been happy after this one not sure if we will stay at one again. No one asked why we were checking out.

We stayed in a cabin (#5) ..... no issues though.... all went as should . The overall campgrounds you can tell is old and showing signs of age/wear but not bad by no means .

Cab. 6's faux leather couch flaked on its cushions and floor. I showed pictures to front desk; we moved to Cab 4. Its main blind didn't close. I stayed there a few months before and told them, but they didn't fix it. The pool closed at 7 - way too early. It wasn't dark until 8. The "clubhouse" was being used as a storage unit. When u have to bring ur own linens, etc., it's a terrible value.

Facilities in disrepair -- to a point, almost dangerous. Exposed wiring, rusted pipes from old grills left exposed, dead trees, etc Location next to highway and Dollar General created a good deal of pedestrian traffic. There is certainly room for improvement here. On a positive, the staff was friendly.

I have been several KOA camp and I was not impressed with this place. This place is a "run down place" and used a lot of "band aid" methods to fix the damage. The KOA store is stocked with a few items and you will need to get off campground to get some items. Also, this campground is partly filled up with travel travelers for a rent to the local people of Mims.

Very old and run down. We were told the property is under new ownership, but they have a lot of work to do to bring it up to par. We stayed in two cabins that are very run down, issues with the AC, one of the showers was hard to use, one of the charcoal grills leaned and had a hole in the back. You had to pay daily to rent a fire pit which in my 10+ KOA stays, I've never heard of such a thing.

The location is lovely. Quiet and beautiful. The cabin is inneed of upgrades. The floor was dirty as well as the table and shower area. Although linens wete the only requirement, the user needs to be much more prepared.

Staff was so friendly! Cabin was clean and the a/c works great. It's a cabin, it is not the Greenbrier Hotel. Squirrels are a little too friendly though. Great staycation, we even stayed for the Rocket Launch!

Dirty, barbecue, broken bedroom, doors, window seals, missing, trim, flying ant problem throughout the house a bunch of wasp nest on outside of house dirty dishes upon arrival in cabinets smelly fridge. No not worth what I paid for per night dirty sandy floors. Other than that AC works great.

Out of all KOA sites we stayed - this was really bad. We stayed in Cabin, but it really needs maintenance - light bulbs missing, the air conditioning ducts were rusted and dirty, fridge was very old, TV did not work (cable) etc. For us it was disappointing. Staff was good and very friendly, but the cabin really needed a good upkeep to be in present. It was not worth the money spent unfortunately!!

I've mostly avoided KOAs in the past because I had a misconception that they were all too loud, sites were too close together and they didn't have any trees. This KOA changed my mind about that. My site had a big oak tree and plenty of shrubs to make it feel a little more private. Restrooms/showers were clean and in good working order. Slabs kept the inside of my camper from getting dirty/dusty. Staff was super friendly and attentive. If my travels bring me back to the area I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great week. Stayed here while waiting on our house. Debbie was very helpful in our stay. The only complaints I had were all the traffic noise throughout the night and the black sand that made everything I owned black.

I love living at this RESORT and campground. They have a resort pool that's heated super warm and it's crazy cool deep at over 7 ft 3 in It's clean and friendly. I can't say enough about their staff being very helpful and courteous. This is the best RV park in the county!
