This was our 5th time at Sweetwater. We love it here, the staff is the best. We stayed in a lodge this time and it was so nice. The scenery around the area was so serene and the sound of the running water by the pond was so nice.

We had to switch our reservation one night stop over on short notice because of a death of a friend. Deanna, at Sweetwater KOA was so understanding and helpful. She gave us a full refund and moved our reservation up a few days to a lesser cabin. That's customer service. Thanks Deanna!

We stayed in "the Cabin" which is a very nice cabin, Queen bed with full pull out. Super clean, well appointed, 2 TVs, full kitchen. Great patio, great furniture on the deck with an umbrella. Air conditioned. KOA staff was really nice and helpful. Camp store was not sticked very well but there is a Brew and chew just a mile up the road that you can get what would have been in the camp store.

I arrived in my rustic cabin, was ready which made me happy. However, after getting into the cabin within seconds, my dog had some type of bone that he had pulled from underneath the bed. I looked under the bed and there was a plate that had old food and a bone. The knickknacks needed a thorough cleaning. The bathroom floors were dirty with bugs and mud, long matted hair and clogged toilet.

Stayed in the Route 66! Had everything we needed. Was a nice comfy cabin. The young ladies in the office were very sweet. Fun trip, I fished in the pond and caught a tiny Large Mouth Bass and and a small Perch. I think the duck �� was a little bit jealous.!

The cabin far exceeded our expectations! It was very clean, well equipped, and cozy but not cramped. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the check-in/checkout process easy. Would def book over a hotel or Airbnb any day!

We stayed in The Cabin with our dog for one night as we travelled to Florida. A storm & high winds had gone through the night before, the campground & surrounding area had lost power. The campground communications about the status of the outage to us was fantastic. The cabin was very clean, had a well equipped kitchen & the staff were friendly & helpful. We’ll stay here again if in the area.

5 stars for sure. My husband and I had been riding on our Harley all day. Arrived late, tired and cold to the Noel AkA Love Shack! Staff had the electric fireplace on for us. This is the best camper cabin we have stayed in since becoming members. Short walk to bathrooms with showers , both extremely clean. Laundry room clean. Overall stay was great. No complaints here.

We love going to the Sweetwater KOA. We have been several times. The staff is excellent. We always feel welcome and feel at home. We'll be back in the Spring!!

Though we have RV camped in many KOA's around the country this was our first time staying in a KOA cabin. We loved it! Our cabin was cutely decorated, clean and well supplied. There was a swung on the porch and our own firepit. Staff was friendly and ready to help. A great experiencecwe will do again!

The staff were so kind and helpful. Deanna at the desk was so friendly. The cabin we stayed in so clean and beautiful. They had so many fun things for our family to do ages 4-16. Just a wonderful little get away. Have recommended already and will stay again.

We enjoyed a few days of our fall break at the a Sweetwater KOA. We stayed in The Cabin, which is our favorite of the Kamping Kabins, and had a great time. We love the upgrades and improvements that we see every time we stay. This is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends.

The staff is beyond amazing, the camp is clean and well kept, the store is well stocked, the bathrooms and laundry rooms are super clean. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. We extended our stay 3 times because we loved it so much! Best place we've ever stayed!

I’ve stayed at KOAs for over 20 years, some in RV sites and some in cabins. Hands down. The best cabin I’ve ever stayed in. For ‘rustic’ it was 1st class!

Peaceful, quiet, loved the ambience of the pond and soft white lights along the bridge at night. The deck by the pond was peaceful and their’s a fabulous gem mining site. Quite far away from the interstate so the road noise isn’t terribly noticeable. Many birds and trees and areas to hang hammocks by the cabins. We enjoyed the fish camp cabin site. Narrow road getting to campground and entrance sits right on curve. Also Narrow outside loop leaving. Wifi super fast, but feel over $100. a night is high. Some of the pull thru sites are not level with our 45' mh

We camped here in a rooftop tent and had a great stay! We got here at night and the map/car tag was waiting. Bathrooms were very clean, we especially loved the playground with all the swings and the wobbly bridge so fun for littles! We were passing by quickly this time so we didn't get a chance to stay long but they had a very nice pool that was kept very clean and I personally enjoyed all the landscaping that was done on the property near the main building! You can tell they love flowers. Everything was blooming and well taken care of. We heard so many birds while there and used an app to identify them! We even heard a Cedar Waxwing and a Blue-Grey Gnat catcher. I'm guessing the wildlife friendly landscaping is a magnet for these friendly birds
