Sweetwater KOA Holiday General Information

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Cards. Cash is accepted for RV sites and tent sites only. Cabin guests are required to use a credit card. We do not accept AMEX, cash cards, checks, money orders, or business checks.

Check-in time is 2:00 pm daily. If you would like to check in early, please call the office ahead of arrival. You MAY be subject to an early arrival fee. We often have guests who will be arriving late, and sometimes after the office is closed. Travel plans can change in the blink of an eye, but we ask that you try to plan your trip so you will arrive during daylight hours. This will help you during set-up and also provide the least amount of distraction for your neighbors. 

Check-out is 11:00 am. If you are not able to make that timeline, please call the office to let us know. We will be as flexible as we can.

Guests visiting campers must register at the office, park in the parking lot and exit the park by 10:00pm. There is a limit of number of visitors per site/cabin. Visitor fees may apply.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you must call the campground before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancelation fee.
Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits
Text and email notifications of cancelations are not acceptable, you must call the campground to cancel over the phone.
Not calling to cancel/no show will result in forfeiture of reservation entire deposit.  

Campsite:
There is a $10 charge 2 days or more prior to the arrival date by 4PM.
If you cancel LESS than 2 days there is NO REFUND.

Camping Cabin:
There is a $10 charge 7 days or more prior to the arrival date by 4 PM.
If you cancel LESS than 7 days there is NO REFUND.

Deluxe Cabin:
There is a $10 charge 7 days or more prior to the arrival date by 4 PM.
If you cancel LESS than 7 days there is NO REFUND.

Special Event or Holiday for Camping Cabins and Campsites:
There is a $10 PER DAY charge 7 days or more prior to the arrival date by 4 PM.
If you cancel LESS than 7 days there is NO REFUND.

Special Event or Holiday for Deluxe Cabins:
There is a $10 PER DAY charge 14 days or more prior to the arrival date by 4 PM.
If you cancel LESS than 14 days there is NO REFUND.

Laundry is open 24 hours. Detergent, dryer sheets, and quarters are available in the General Store.

We do not have golf cart rentals at our park. Guests may bring their own cart with the following criteria: must be "ELECTRIC ONLY," must carry an insurance policy on the cart and the cart is to be driven by a licensed driver only.

We only permit ONE camping unit per site. No combinations of RV+tent, cabin+tent, etc.

Late arrivals can use our night registration center to secure a campsite, depending on availability. Our office closes at 8:00pm from March through the end of October and at 6:00pm November through the end of February. We understand travel plans can change unexpectedly and you may arrive after hours but we ask that you make every effort to arrive before 10pm on any given night, which is when our quiet time begins. Arrivals after 10pm can cause disruptions to our other guests. We appreciate your understanding.

We now offer On Site storage - inquire at the office for information.

We do not permit any off-road vehicles to be operated in the park.

If you are camping with us and would like to have a birthday party or a family gathering that would include visitors to the park, please call the campground at 865.213.3900 at least 3 weeks prior to the event to open up a conversation of your ideas. Depending on date and size of group, we may be able to accommodate your request.

County law requires that alcoholic beverages must be kept on your own campsite. Intoxicated persons who are disturbing others will be asked to leave without a refund.

Quiet Hours are 10:00pm to 8:00am. Children must be on site with their parents during this time and recreational areas are closed.

Pets must be kept on a 6-foot leash, quiet and show no aggression toward other pets or guests. If your pet shows aggression, you may be asked to leave without a refund. Pets are not allowed in Bathrooms, pool area, play area, recreation field. Pets must be attended to at all times by an adult and please remember to clean up after your pet.

There is no lifeguard - swim at your own risk. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, without exception. For your own safety, please do not swim alone. Registered campers swim for free. Visitors of registered campers may use the pool and participate in scheduled activities upon payment of a visitors fee. Running, pushing, diving or rough play of any kind is prohibited in pool area. No glass containers nor alcohol is permitted in the pool area. Pool hours are 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Extended hours when available.

Jake is a lifelong camper and outdoors enthusiast. Originally from northeast Ohio, he moved to Tennessee in early 2022. His days are spent enjoyed with his lovely fiancé, Shaynnah (pictured above), their two dogs, Jameson and Joey, and loads of family and friends. Outside of managing the park, Jake enjoys working out and spending time on the family farm raising livestock.
