KOA great place to stay , place from one end to the other spotless , pool area well kept up and very clean , staff was very helpful and polite the whole stay , we stayed at the Patriot Cabin and it was the best ever , very clean and comfortable , looking forward to or next stay soon , Thank You to the Great Staff at KOA Sweetwater

The staff went above and beyond to make this a fantastic stay. The cabins were cute and comfortable. The activities were fun and entertaining. I am already planning next year's trip.

We had everything we needed in our cabin to be comfortable. The campground had lots to do for grandkids. Enjoyed the Christmas in July weekend activities. The pool was great. Very relaxing time to visit with family in the area. We will definitely do this again!

I cannot say enough how wonderful this KOA is. Every step of the way from the planning of our family get together to our check out was wonderful. The campground itself is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is simply amazing. I have never had such a pleasant experience at a campground. We will definitely be back!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The grounds and amenities are up kept very well. You have to check out the enormous yard in the middle of the hiking trails! literally it's 5 or 6 football fields mowed and available to use however. The creek is amazing too. Very peaceful.

First time staying at a campground loved our little cabin we had it was very peaceful and a nice experience for me and my wife's 8 year anniversary. We plan on staying again the next time.

We had an incredible time! We stayed in the route 66 cabin and it was beautiful. Everybody was friendly. The place is safe and family friendly. I can't wait to go back!

I called while on the road to reserve a same-day stay in one of the cabins. They were able to take my info and payment over the phone. I got a call later with info about where to locate the after-hours check-in bulletin board with our key. We arrived sometime after 830p and found our stuff. Karen (I think?) was right behind us in her golf cart to make sure all was good! Great place.

We haven't been to a KOA in years, and were impressed with the facility. Everything was well cared for, facilities were clean. Our dog enjoyed the K9 Kamp. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

We had an amazing time at this KOA! Jake was an excellent host and all of the staff were great. Plenty of kid activities and nice clean pool. Bathhouses were very clean too! We will be back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Great communication. Very clean and cozy cabin. Easy check in. Tranquil location yet close to I-75. I will be staying again on my return trip! Very nice hosts

This was our second stay at this location within a week. We orginally had different plans to stay somewhere else but our first stay the week before was so nice that we changed our plans to stay at this KOA location again on our way home from our week long vacation.

This is a beautiful KOA, with lots to do for kids. I wouldn't recommend meeting a large group of friends there that you only get to see once a year, the park really likes their quiet time at 10pm. lol I will be back with my kids and grandkids for sure, its a wonderful very well kept family place.. The staff was all very nice, the cabins were very tidy and cute the facilities were very clean.

Just about the most beautiful campground I’ve been to. Haven’t stayed at many KOAs but I grew up going to Disney’s Fort Wilderness, and this place meets (and exceeds) that high level standard! Friendliest staff ever - met Dori, Kathy, Heather, and Jake and they were all about the sunniest people I’ve ever met. Get a cabin, they’re decorated beautifully!

This is one of the nicest KOA we have stayed. Usually in our Motorhome. First time in a Cabin. They are very nice. The Bathhouse is very clean, and up to date. The staff is very personable,,,,,

I reserved a deluxe cabin and when I got to the cabin it did not have a kitchen I went to the office and was informed not all deluxe cabins have a kitchen I was so angry and all she said was sorry! Very upsetting!!! I would not have reserved it had I known! The bed was so uncomfortable that we hurt every morning and at 3am on the 29th we could not stand it any longer so we left.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This is a very unfortunate review as you made your reservation ONLINE, where you CHOSE the cabin that did not have a kitchen. When you came to the office, we simply shared the fact that not all deluxe cabins have kitchens and we were not able to upgrade you due to current occupancy.

Jake was very helpful and accommodating to us since our camper had issues and was at the RV dealer. Michael was very helpful, saw we had camper issues- we didn’t know. Told us of the rv place. Checked on us if we needed anything and how our parts were coming along. Jake and Michael are assets to Sweetwater KOA. Thanks to them

Great RV travel stop. Staff are outstanding. Lots and mostly level and paved. Nice camp store offering a variety of camping necessities and souvenirs. They even over wings and pizza if you are tired and don't want to cook.
