Prior to our stay in KY save your $ and drive to TN if you’re headed south. The people were beyond accommodating very friendly to outsiders. The park is very well kept and amazing choices. Definitely recommend. This is real souther hospitality at its finest.

This place was pretty amazing. Very nice and helpful staff. The bathrooms/showers were the best! You can tell everyone took pride in their job. Property was very well kept and clean.

Josh and Karen made the stop so easy. Josh helped me level and setup my rig and even found me a hose clamp when I had a water leak. Nice areas for dog walk and play area. Great place to stay.

Just about the most beautiful campground I’ve been to. Haven’t stayed at many KOAs but I grew up going to Disney’s Fort Wilderness, and this place meets (and exceeds) that high level standard! Friendliest staff ever - met Dori, Kathy, Heather, and Jake and they were all about the sunniest people I’ve ever met. Get a cabin, they’re decorated beautifully!

The campground is nice and well maintained. The WiFi is good and the space sizes about average. The only negative for us was the noise from nearby I 75.

The staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They checked on us and our site daily and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We even added an additional day to our stay as we enjoyed the experience that much and wanted one more day of memories.

Best KOA we've stayed at. Usually we avoid KOA because of prior experiences. Approached this one with a certain sense of dread. But this broke the mold. Clean, well maintained, welcoming. Big plus: level spots! Will stay again.

everyone that worked at the camp ground was wonderful. It was a pretty place and the sites were great. Are neighbors for the night were awful. they walked through our site and the people on the other side of us. they play games on our site. they had no respect for others property. It is a shame that they were not stopped or removed for their behavior.

I have been to a LOT of KOA campgrounds with the family. I can say with certainty this is the BEST one I have ever been to. The grounds and bathrooms are immaculate. Pool is perfectly clean. All the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We got a premium site with a patio and is was so great! The store was VERY well stocked with both helpful items and wonderful gifts and games. We will back!

Our 4th stay at this KOA with class A in a pull through site. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. Nice camping store with lots of gifts and camping essentials and campers can order food from kitchen. Lots of tree coverage and camping cabins and well kept grounds. Asphalt roads and sites. Can't say enough about this great campground.

Put in a site that for some reason had a wooden deck on it. Barely had room to park between the deck and edge of site. When I opened my door the steps came down on top of the deck and bent the linkage. Now I have to have that replaced plus the nightly rate was as much as a decent hotel. Why they put anyone on that site without removing the deck is beyond me.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As the guest arrived on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation, we were happy to provide them with the only site we had left available. The deck is an added feature that many guests appreciate.

Excellent campground! Great service, happy people, quiet, and the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. I liked it so much, I’ll be staying there on my return trip (already booked it).

We normally camp at State Parks in the woods, so this was different, but still very nice. We should come back with the 7-year-old grandson as he would love it. And it's small enough that we could keep track of him at all the exciting kid's activities! There was a very short nature trail but then a huge field for walking the dog. There was always a staff member out and about, and that was nice too.

This is one of the nicest KOA we have stayed. Usually in our Motorhome. First time in a Cabin. They are very nice. The Bathhouse is very clean, and up to date. The staff is very personable,,,,,

Road noise from I75, and Our tent site, although close to pool was very close to the road so car/trailers passing early were annoying, but over all this KOA is great!

Was great. Beautiful campground. Site 66 sewer hookup was hard to use because of distance and was uphill. Would pick a different site - but looking forward to another visit !

I was passing through for one night. It’s a beautiful campground! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Pull through site was easy in and out. I would highly recommend staying there.

I’m a loyal KOA member, and Sweetwater makes one of my top favorites! Why? First off, all employees are helpful and want to make sure you have a pleasant experience. I stayed 3 nights, and each evening a staff member came around on a golf cart to check on me and see if I needed anything. They even delivered my pizza. Plenty of staff endured an awesome experience. CLEAN and well kept!

We love everything about this KOA. All of the staff is so wonderful! Jake is great! Lots for the kids to do. Very clean and quiet. Good location. Only 10 minutes from anything that you would need. Very beautiful and scenic KOA. We always choose to stay here on our way to Florida and are always happy with our choice every time. The Rust family from Ohio

Haven't even stayed here yet but look forward to it. This is due to our interaction over the phone with Dory. She was super helpful and extremely friendly. Her level of customer care really made a huge impact on us wanting to come to this campsite vice any others in the area.
