It rained while we were away and totally flooded the site and made a mud hole. Staff thankfully moved our tent out of the mud but after the fact. Although they placed sandbags and made a ditch we didn’t want to stay in the muddy site with more rain forecasted. The staff person was extremely rude when we requested moving sites. WRONG not to accommodate or freely assist in that situation.

We got a tent site for our trip to Glacier. It was great, the bathrooms were clean and well lit, the staff was super helpful, and the store stocked everything you need. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus! Perfect location for a stay at Glacier!

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA. Great location near the St Mary entrance. Our site was right by the stream which was great. Bathrooms/showers were not too far off and were nice and clean.

Stayed in a tent site. They are neatly tucked into the woods with enough privacy to feel comfortable. The bathrooms are a walk but always clean. What amazed us most was the closeness to Glacier itself. 10 minute drive to get to the first part of the park on the East side. We would come back and stay again!

Great campsite, friendly staff, clean bathrooms! We had one rainy day, our campsite got a bit muddy, but they reacted immediately and put gravel on our site. And the hot pool was fantastic to warm up on this day! Great place!

The location is great and the campground is large. There were beautiful views in every direction. We enjoyed ice cream on the deck and the pool. I do wish there were more bathrooms and showers. The bathroom/shower stalls are not very big and it was difficult to help my young child. I don't know how someone in a wheelchair could maneuver the bathrooms.

What a wonderful place. The staff was outstanding. All the amenities are great. Great scenery, loved the pool area. Showers and bathrooms were always clean. I loved my stay.

Staff made us feel at home, and very welcome, the food/ coffee/ ice cream was so yummy & the amenities were So clean. On top of all of that the view was stunning. Thank KOA for taking care of us

This KOA is very expensive and not at all as nice as most KOA's. However, my biggest complaint is that when I reserved online and in the "special request" area, I simply asked for a site away from most others since I have dogs. I did not lock in my site, nor was I contacted by this KOA to confirm a lock. When I checked in though, I was charged an extra $15, and they refused to budge or refund!

I would have given you a 10 but gave you a 9 because there was no wifi. Great location, nice people in the office. Nice little store. Did not use the pool or hot tub but it is nice to have. A very short walk to Lake Mary which was really nice and had a nice trail along it. The bathroom could have been cleaner.

Friendly staff, gorgeous views. We were tenting and the spot we had was very quiet and peaceful. Restrooms were clean.

We loved the facilities-we were campers. I liked that the tent sites are private and are separated from the big RVs. I also love the hot tub and pool after hiking in Glacier. Lastly, we found Taco seasoning mix at the little camp store after not being able to find it in the markets in St. Mary!

This was a great campground and great location. Don't sleep on the lake walk and dipping your feet in. The pool and hot tub were perfect and the bathrooms were well maintained. Absolutely appreciate the 24hr laundry too. They could stand to have another bathroom but we were up at 5 most mornings and going to bed early so we rarely had to wait for showers. We stayed in a tent site for 7 days!

Positives: nice staff, great amenities, wonderful location and view. Opportunities: Shower drains are clogged and it doesn't seem to get fixed, tent sites are teeny.

They waited until after I had paid to inform me the tub was broken. They were not willing to adjust the price, and they close their store was too early. We picked this place instead of the 30 dollar a night spot down the road because we wanted a store and a hot tub. Not worth it, will go to Chewing Black Bones next time.

I didn't know what I paid for with $60 for a half day tent site. Very poorly laid out camp grind that is hard to navigate, especially in the dark. Kept looking for a sign with tents and numbers, but the only sign was for a nature trail. The tents were tucked away with a very small "road" that you can't see around. Large gravel for sites... Never heard of such a thing!!! Couldn't wait to leave!!

campsite was a disappointment, site was very small and it offered no shade or protection from the wind. I thought the price was a little much for what I got. The rest of the facilities were fine. I appreciated the clean shower building.

Pool, Spa, and Pavillion were closed, even though the official closing date wasn't for another week - they could have waited since it was unseasonably warm weather. No discount was given despite a reduced rate shown online. Tent site table was old, stained, and broken. The bark covering the tent pad was old and sparse - it hadn't been added to in many years so you were mostly camping on dirt.

The only thing I did not like was the pool and hot tub closed at 730,pm rather than 9pm. That is a big reason I stay at KOA. I only got there at 6pm so I had to decide if I was going to eat or the pool and hot tub. It is also nice to be in the hot tub at night. It gets dark at 8pm.

Overall great stay! Staff all exceptional! Quiet for a KOA, nice tent areas. Two complaints - the women's restroom had one soap dispenser and one mirror and often ran out of paper towels. Also, the fact that the only trash cans available were at the office area was annoying - it would have been nice to have bear-proof garbage at least by the bathrooms.

Very disappointed that I paid $70+ for a tent site that did not even have a level spot for the tent. Then the wifi did not work when I was in the office/laundry. Staff gave me a phone number to call to "figure it out". Why was I making the call, not them? The fold down shelf in shower was great add on, for ease & security. Overall, disappointed with this KOA.

Easy to make reservations., Staff was very responsive to questions via email. Beautiful campgrounds! We tent camped--very easy access to the site as well as the shower house and laundry faciliites.

The staff was great. The tent sites were good excdept that there is no WiFi infrastructure or electricity in the tenting area. There is no public place with power where one can use a device.

We had a great time staying at the St. Mary's KOA access to the park was very convenient even though it was Early in the camping season and not a lot of the park is open yet we still had a great time staying at the KOA. The campground is well kept a very clean and the staff is awesome.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Views are fantastic! Not crowded when we were there, but we arrived on opening day in May. It started filling up that weekend.

We stayed at the St. Mary's East Glacier KOA Holiday in August 2025, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The location was absolutely gorgeous and made getting into Glacier National Park each day incredibly easy. It was simple to get into and out of our spot, and hooking up our RV was quick and hassle‑free. The Wi‑Fi was excellent, and the staff was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The entire campground was very clean, well kept, and beautifully maintained. It's a stunning place, and we would definitely visit again.
