An increasing number of guests bring their dogs along for the trip, only to find that pets are not allowed on the trails in Glacier National Park! But don't worry, we offer pet sitting at your site for $20, which includes two visits. Visits include a walk, a water refill, water and food if necessary. $10 for each additional pet. The kennel is $70/day and the pet must be picked up by 6pm. Two dogs may rent one kennel for an additional $20. Kennel reservations should be made in advance due to limited availability. Please bring current vet records. Dogs who are kenneled will need to arrive with some type of a bark control collar that can be utilized if the dog begins to continuously bark, which they sometime do. Since the kennel is on the campground we need to ensure the dog does not disrupt other guests in your absence. Please don't bring an aggressive dog to the campground.
Even if you can't hike with your dog, we have a nature trail around the campground that includes a lake and river. It's a great environment for getting out and exercising with your pet, who probably has spent a bit too much time in the car or RV.

Spring travelers will find that The Going-to-the-Sun Road typically does not open fully until late June or early July. Until that time, plow crews work diligently to clear a safe path through as much as 100ft of snow. Main highways (2, 17, 89, and 464) remain plowed and open through the beginning of the season. Additionally, Many Glacier and Two Medicine tend to open before The Going-to-the-Sun Road. The National Park Service website has a live feed of each road's status.
The only cell phone service provider in the area is VERIZON. Our wifi is not comparable with 4g cellphone service.
We sell bundled firewood and fire starters at our store. Bundles are $6.99 for a larger sized bundle. You may purchase firewood at the front desk and we will deliver it to your site. Note: you may not take any US firewood into Canada.
Our rural location and limited bandwidth availability makes wifi very difficult. Please do not plan your trip to Glacier with the expectation for high speed internet. Good wifi is not currently provided anywhere in the area. We continue to upgrade to the best wifi possible as it becomes available. Connectivity is only as reliable as the amount of bandwidth that is shared with many other people. Check with your cellphone provider for details involving coverage, however, the only cell tower in the area is Verizon. Yes, we know AT&T is your provider and they say they have coverage everywhere, but not here.
We have a new company in the area that is promising some better bandwidth options, but until we can see for sure, plan on limited availability in 2019.
