General Campground Information

Pet Sitting or Kennelling

An increasing number of guests bring their dogs along for the trip, only to find that pets are not allowed on the trails in Glacier National Park!  But don't worry, we offer pet sitting at your site for $25 and $10 for each additional pet, which includes two visits. Visits include a walk, a water refill, water and food if necessary.  The kennel is $70/day and the pet must be picked up by 6pm. Two dogs may rent one kennel for an additional $20. Kennel reservations should be made in advance due to limited availability. Please bring current vet records. Dogs who are kenneled will need to arrive with some type of a bark control collar that can be utilized if the dog begins to continuously bark, which they sometimes do.  Since the kennel is on the campground we need to ensure the dog does not disrupt other guests in your absence.  Please don't bring an aggressive dog to the campground.
Even if you can't hike with your dog, we have a nature trail around the campground that includes a lake and river.  It's a great environment for getting out and exercising with your pet, who probably has spent a bit too much time in the car or RV.

Additionally, Many Glacier and Two Medicine tend to open before The Going-to-the-Sun Road. The National Park Service website has a live feed of each road's status.
