The campground was just okay. We've stayed at lots of KOA's and this one is mediocre. However, we chose to camp at this location because they advertised having Wi-Fi. This was really important to us and there was NO Wi-Fi so we were quite disappointed. Staff was very dismissive of our concern when we tried to get them to address the issue. Surely not the customer satisfaction that you'd expect.

There was no wifi, which is pretty much a standard in parks now. But it wasn't fatal. The location is great, the people very nice, facilities were nice. A really good park. In their defense, they are installing a new wifi system, so the wifi issue should be solved in time. But you would think they would have it ready for the season, it was mid-June and still not working.

Great staff!!!! The sites are very close together with entry / exit space in the interior roadways limited for the larger, longer rv's. We used the laundry room and it was clean, neat and appreciated.

We loved everything about St. Mary’s KOA except the ferocious winds. We will be back, but probably later in the season.

Awesome location on the East side of the Park. Easy access to Saint Mary entrance and Many Glacier. Staff was super friendly and store well stocked. Our site was perfect. Highly recommend...

Beautiful location. When there was an issue with power at the pole someone fixed it and then followed up to make sure all was ok. Wonderful to see such response. Plus the campground had just opened for the season

The views were amazing. We visited the first of June 2026. I know it was early in the season, but was disappointed with the amenities that KOA is usually known for. The pool was not open (expected). We had our 3 year old granddaughter and they did not have any play structure available, not even swings. They still charges “full amenities” price. I would have stayed elsewhere if known.

Close to Glacier NP east entrance. Large, well stocked store with hand scooped ice cream. Showers were outstanding

You cannot beat the view! It was beautiful scenery 360 degrees. The showers were nice, the employees were nice and accommodating.

The check in lady not the friendliest. No cell service there so really need WiFi service. Was told they are working on it. How long will it be down. How long are you staying. Three days. Should be up in about 4 days then. We paid for WiFi. The phone showed they had WiFi. No cable service so no phone no tv. To windy to sit outside. The rest of the staff was very nice the ones we talked to.

Stayed 2 nights and 3 days. This review is a more comprehensive review. My family has been coming for 3 years now and we’ve only seen the rv park diminish in amenities since the new ownership. There is no WiFi, it’s been “out” since last season in 2025.

No wi-fi, no local stations, only one radio station. Laundry was nasty, lent trays in dryers were moldy. Sites were very unlevel with big dips. Even with a step stool and blocks of wood it was difficult to get in and out of our trailer because of the dips.

This is a good camp base for visiting the east side of Glacier NP, however it falls short on KOA standards that we have seen over 13 years of booking. Playground just sitting in boxes- apparently gor some time based on grass/weeds. Our site was nicely tucked into vegetation/bushes area but grass/weeds hadn"t been addressed for sometime. Facility map hard to read as it was poor xeroxed copy.

We stayed in D2. The site was basically a mud hole and not remotely level. I should have requested another site but didn’t. Sites D1& D2 were muddy, D3 & D4 were only slightly better. Our reservations were made months in advance. You couldn’t help the rain, but, these sites were not well maintained. Otherwise the location was great and the park was very nice. Learned a lesson.

This is by far the most beautiful place we’ve ever been to. The camp ground is nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains and green hills. Amazing!!

There was no internet access, even though there were routers all over the park. The staff was very friendly.

The staff was awesome. The campsite was clean. Our RV spot was perfect. We really enjoyed staying. There had many amenities and access to the park was very convenient. Hope to come back and enjoy another day when we can enjoy more of the park.

Campground is still recovering from Indian tribe "firing" former hosts. They are replacing most of infrastructure, but good site.

This site is situated so close to 3 different entrances to the national park. That is so important if you go early in the season when the Road to the Sun is not completely open. The sites were roomy and the campground was easy to navigate in our big rig.

Sites are uneven with steep slopes. Difficult to hitch/unhitch 5th wheel. If it wasn’t for the fantastic views of St Mary’s mountains and proximity to the park - I would not stay here again.

Only complaint was lack of WiFi which should be fixed by now. Our view was absolutely beautiful. The owners have done so much work to this campground & by the end of June will be nothing short of amazing. They also keep the sites pretty level.

The stay was great, a lot less trees than expected. The wifi was down the 2 days I was there is the only complaint. They were working it hard so I'M SURE ITS FIXED NOW..

This is the first time in all the years camping at Koa's that we were disappointed. The place was worn down, no TV stations and their wi-fi was not working. We're going to spend 5 days but found somewhere else to go. Checking out, we found out they had just got new owners. Wish them the best plenty of work ahead!

We had a wonderful 9 day stay. The staff was terrific, the facilities were great, they had a terrific nature trail, and they were very responsive to our needs.

Only good thing is location to Glacier National Park. Doesn't seem like any maintenance was done all season, We were there at end of season but weeds in gravel pads were there a long time. Premium sites were extremely unappealing. Glad we didn't pay for the premium site as we do quite often. Definitely not up to KOA standards!

The KOA was well-kept, with great views and close to Many Glaciers. I would rate it a 5 for those reasons.. Unfortunately, we were there during a fierce windstorm, so got very little sleep, so if I recommended it, it would be with the caveat that it is exposed to weather.

Great location but the camp sites are very basic. Not very level, dead grass, not very well maintained. Not much up keep at camp sites. Greeting at desk wasn’t very welcoming. I know this location is very advantageous so you pay a premium price, but there is no comparison to the West Glaciers KOA as far as effort given to make a campers stay special. First time at a KOA and I expected better.

Beautiful location on the East side of the park, not as busy. Campground had everything it said it would, even live entertainment when we were there. It was a short walk down to the lake and worth it. The lake was beautiful, a little chilly for us from the south but beautiful views.

Nice place everything was great just don't waste your money getting a pull thru full hookup patio. It's not that great. The other sites are just as good. Great views... can get very windy.

Easy and excellent check in, numerous staff members available during a busy summer evening check in. All smiling, happy, and willing to help! Greeted immediately by many staff members and a staff member Jim, was awesome-recommending a better new spot on the grounds to accommodate our vehicle and then he drove us down to our site as an escort. Thank you! Great evening with KOA!
