For Class A coach's the roads and out are narrow and the trees/shrubs need to be trimmed. Our pull through site had a large mud hole right where the toad needed to be disconnected and it was raining when we arrived. Our check-in was very organized and the staff was very polite.

Had a camper delivered. Staff helped our renter get settled in our site. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. They made the camping experience great!

I would have given this KOA a 5-star rating if the wifi had been operating.

Nice location, but expensive. Sites are unkept and need weeds and grass need trimmed. Campground had wi-fi, but staff would not give out the password to guests. Lady behind desk was rude and told me their computers in the office needed the entire bandwidth to operate their system. There are other campgrounds in the St. Mary area I would stay in the next time here.

Not the best KOA, No working WiFi, hot-tub bubbles dint work. NO complimentary coffee (come on!), ice $4.50/bag- apparently under New Mgmt. - no excuse!! Close yo East entr. Of Glacier, so very convenient, which is WHY we stayed here! Nice ladies at desk: Andi, Cindy, Shala (??), Suzanne - thank you ladies!!

The location right next to national park entrance and amenities can’t be beat! We loved it here. The hot tub was fabulous. You can also use kayaks to explore their lake and walk their lakeside trail. Owned by the Blackfeet Nation, you know your travel dollars are going to a good place. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting but the campground needs maintenance. No washers working and the bathrooms need fixed.

We loved the views and the amenities of this KOA and you can’t beat the location

The worst KOA in the entire chain. It's a mudhole and terribly maintained.Obviously, the original gravel, 30 years ago has never been replaced or freshened. Grass growing thru the gravel and bricks on the patio sites. The sites are unlevel and narrow. Not big rig friendly. The front desk is rude and poorly trained. Not worth high costs. The only good thing is Jim in maintnence. THE PLACE IS A DUMP!

Wish you had an indoor sitting area. Still an excellent stay.

Beautiful campground!
Jul 16, 2025
I would rate it a 10 and 5 stars if it had WiFi. The only downside. Sites are spacious and the views from the park are spectacular. Easy in and out.

Sites were pretty basic but location was great for seeing Glacier!
Jul 16, 2025
Views are spectacular, sites are level, bathroom and other facilities are very clean.

Clean bathrooms and grounds; attentive staff. Some attention to landscaping and updating to playground and pool is in order, but one can see that efforts have been made at maintaining facilities. Overall a good stay and very convenient location to begin your adventures on the Going to the Sun Road.

Disappointed there is no WiFi as I was about out of data. My sewer connection was uphill. Seems you could fix those. Site was big enough I didn’t feel crowded. Great view.

Friendly staff and clean facilities. However, our site was rather sub par. Overgrown with weeds and grass, the sewer connection was placed poorly requiring us to drive to Browning to buy some planks to allow drainage. We would never accept any of the M sites again. They are all in need of repair. Also, your kayaks are complete junk and probably dangerous. All 3 should be thrown away.

Pros: The staff is great and location is perfect for seeing Glacier National Park, going opposite of the all the Westside travelers. Cons: There are not as many restaurants and stores on the Eastside. The new KOA ownership is cutting corners and the camp store prices make it worth driving down the hill to buy almost anything, at the “more typically overpriced” mountain general store.

The campground has power issues. Every evening between 5:00 and 8:00 our voltage would drop below 104 and our surge guard would shut off the power to our RV. The campground does not have the power infrastructure needed to accommodate all the RVs they are booking into sites. We voiced our concerns and requested a manager who never contacted us. Maintenance workers were sent, but provided no help.

We were very disappointed to find out the wi-fi was down and we were told they were not even working to get it resolved. Wi-fi is one of the reasons we choose KOA's. No heads up, no discount, no make up offer. Also the hook ups were on the wrong side of our RV. We were able to make it work, but poor design.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Thanks

Was told that there was internet when we booked and when we arrived, we were told that there hasn't been internet all season. 5 of the dryers in the laundry room were out of order. This caused a terrible bottleneck. They charge a premium price and I am upset that they dropped the ball.

Beautiful views! Great amenities and loved the trails. Campers packed in tightly no privacy at all. Not worth 120.00 a night.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. The facilities were clean and the showers are amazing!

The check in people didn’t seem to know what they were doing. They had originally put us in a sight we wouldn’t fit in. They had to move us and couldn’t figure out how to do it or where to do it, we had to wait for a very long time after being in the car for 8 hours. They finally found a sight. The maintenance man was great! All we could smell our entire stay was sewage. No one cared.

No issues. Friendly staff. Nice facilities. Only negative is jets in hot tub were not working.

We loved that this KOA was so close to the east entrance of Glacier National Park. Cute gift shop. Pull thru sites were being enough but the sewer line of the camper next door was very close to our fire ring and picnic table. WiFi was not available.

Great location. Beautiful surroundings. The best in the nation as far as I’m concerned.

Very nice stay, friendly staff. Nice spots to set up. Close to Glacier. We would stay there again.

Nice view however the wind is horrible. Staff and facilities are great.

This KOA was perfect. They had everything we needed. It was also super close to the national park. The dog run was big and there was a beautiful creek near by.

I had a great experience here. I had never stayed on this side of the park or in a KOA and I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. Thank you

No wifi, no clean showers.
Jul 10, 2025
Beautiful views from the campground with a nice nature walk. Bathrooms are cleaned daily BUT not well at all. The campground did not have WIFI working for our entire visit. The incoming power supply was NOT sufficient for the amount of camping spots they have available for use. Therefore we would intermittently loss power to the camper. Bushes not trimmed back causing scratches on the camper.

Nice staff. The young lady that checked us in did a great job helping us solve a problem we had. Excellent customer service. Our site was almost level but close enough for a campground built on the side of a hill. We would return.

The grass in our section was pretty much just weeds and the dog park is not convenient to most of the sites. Our dogs also got sick after going in there, so we stopped letting them use that area. Overall it is a nice park with beautiful views, and convenient to the East Glacier entrance.

Great park and great location. Nice clean and friendly staff.

Nice site with beautiful views. A few trees around site would be nice.

Beautiful spot! Lots of goodies in the shop and nice showers, restroom, and laundry. The dog yard is perfect with nice soft groomed grass and clean. My big dog loved it after a long day of road tripping!

Great helpful staff. They gave me a bear spray. Tent sites were nice. Fantastic quiet lake to rent kayaks on. Pool, sauna and hot tub with premium showers and bathrooms. Definitely a resort style KOA if you want more amenities. They also have short trail loops and a full camp store. Fire pits have built in grills to cook on.

Beautiful location on the East side of the park, not as busy. Campground had everything it said it would, even live entertainment when we were there. It was a short walk down to the lake and worth it. The lake was beautiful, a little chilly for us from the south but beautiful views.

Nice place everything was great just don't waste your money getting a pull thru full hookup patio. It's not that great. The other sites are just as good. Great views... can get very windy.
