Just a 1-night stay but we are glad we chose this KOA. The restrooms were spotless and there was no traffic noise here which made for peaceful sleep! Plus 10 minutes to the Super Walmart where we did a major restock before continuing our journey.

The water and power hook-up were on the wrong side. The front desk staff, although very friendly, was not very bright. The campground is showing its age and needs a makeover.

The woman who runs the Checkin process was horrible. Very hard to understand and when I called to move up our checkin she didn’t know how and told me to make the reservation on your website!

Smallest cabin. Remote bathroom dirty, cob webs obvious, no wifi, phone outage. No fan, heater useless.

Loved the cabin and scenery. Unfortunately no WiFi and the bathrooms were often full requiring us to walk to the pool bathrooms instead.

Nice, friendly staff. We ordered wood which, while expensive, was larger than we expected. The site was clean upon arrival and had beautiful views of the mountains. The one drawback was that the water pressure seemed very low.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I will more than likely stay again next year. My only suggestion would be to consider expanding the bathroom facilities that are not connected to the main building. The wait time can be long to use the bathroom especially when 2 of the 3 options also contain a shower stall. I know the season is short but something to consider. Thank you.

The location is perfect--about 1.5 miles to the St. Mary GNP entrance. The spots are close together & the pool/hot tub area could use some updating. Overall, a good place to stay!

Staff was terrific. Bathrooms are pretty far from tent sites, that can be difficult. Probably nice amenities for families but we didn’t use them (pool, bicycles). The tent sites are nestled in trees, that was very nice.

They were very good to work with. We got there later than planned but they were still there for us to check in, we stayed a few extra days and let us stay at the same site without having to move everything. Restrooms and showers were clean. Campground clean and welcoming. And the huckleberry ice cream at the little store was delicious. We will be staying again next time we visit Glacier.

Terrible for tent guests. I was in spot D5 which was rated a tent spot. It was probably the worst spot in the entire campground. Trying to make breakfast 15ft from someone dumping their blackwater? I almost threw up. There was no privacy in my spot, no trees no shade options, nowhere to hang a clothesline. The pool was nice so we spent all our time there. This place is great for RV'S, not tents.

Our tent site was perfect for us. We had privacy created by trees and bushes. It was big enough to easily accommodate our big tent set up a table and chair and park a pickup. The office staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bathroom was cleaned every morning and conveniently located. This was our first stay at the St Mary KOA and we are looking forward to another one next year.

We had an amazing stay in a cabin. The location is wonderful; you see Glacier from every corner of the park and the ability to step out and look at the night sky and catch amazing sunrises is priceless. The pool, hot tub, creek, nature trail and free 2 hour on-site bike rentals were all unexpected fantastic surprises. The restrooms are well kept and the staff is very friendly and professional.

Made res year in advance. Requested specific site - upon arrival got what could be considered the worst patio site on the property. Tiny patio, weeds growing through brick, site aggressively pitched had to move camper twice to drain holding tanks. Asked to move sites was met with inability to help. Not great experience but BEAUTIFUL. Not there for WIFI but also not working. for $140/nt not great

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The location was fantastic for exploring the east side of glacier . Staff were friendly and helpful. We found the prices at the convince store onsite to be reasonable. Would definitely stay again!

I have stayed at over 100 KOAs and this was in the bottom 3 and cost over $100 a night. Unlevel site by 6-8 inches side/side and back/front. NO internet as advertised. Also no cable, no tv stations, cell svc so VERY dangerous! Stray dogs. Ridiculous food prices and poor quality. Good laundry room. Their location means they don’t care because they will stay booked. But lots of non-KOA’s nearby.

The person who checked us in didn’t know any information about the local area. The man who took us to our site didn’t know where extra parking was as our vehicle wouldn’t fit in the tent site either our tent. The bathrooms needed more than once per day cleaning. The only plus is its location near the St Mary’s entrance of the NP.

Previous review about bad site - this was the second site they moved us to. Much better, what you would consider deluxe patio worth $140 / nt. After going BACK into the office with specific site number of vacant site I was told we could move. campground is beautiful, right in the heart of the mountains. Great little town nearby. Workers are super nice. apparently changed owners. would go back

Great campground: great view, playground, pool, hot tub, shower, flush toilet. However, campground was not able to accommodate us when we asked to check out at 1 pm as kids want more time to play in the pool. Understand that they have other guests that will check in later. But we saw a few empty spots and other campgrounds were able to accommodate us. Would still recommend it and will go back!

Your barista made us the most amazing coffee!!! The ladies in the front were friendly and helpful.. We loved our cabin but I think our parking spot could have been a little bigger to accommodate two large motorcycle.

Great location for visiting the Many Glacier area and very accommodating owner. We will be back in the future. The East side of Glacier is much more chill than the west side. But the east has far better hiking.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. My pull thru site was level. Water pressure was great. Only downside was the hot tub was hot but jets not working also no wi-fi. But that is not a deal breaker. Would return in the future.

We had a great time staying at the St. Mary's KOA access to the park was very convenient even though it was Early in the camping season and not a lot of the park is open yet we still had a great time staying at the KOA. The campground is well kept a very clean and the staff is awesome.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Views are fantastic! Not crowded when we were there, but we arrived on opening day in May. It started filling up that weekend.

We stayed at the St. Mary's East Glacier KOA Holiday in August 2025, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The location was absolutely gorgeous and made getting into Glacier National Park each day incredibly easy. It was simple to get into and out of our spot, and hooking up our RV was quick and hassle‑free. The Wi‑Fi was excellent, and the staff was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The entire campground was very clean, well kept, and beautifully maintained. It's a stunning place, and we would definitely visit again.
