We had a nice camping spot until our neighbor showed up. Their black tank hook up is right next to our picnic table. That was a bummer. The hot tub was nice but lots of floating bugs.

Great location, great facilities. More private bathrooms would be nice...the showers get crowded as everyone is getting ready early for hiking days and excursions. So close to the park entrance which is convenient. Nice to have a big hot tub after a day of hiking. You can walk to the lake for fishing or kayaking.

The only problem I had was the mattress was too hard for me. The cabin and bathroom were very clean. There were paper towers and toilet paper all the times I had to use the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a great time at the East glacier KOA. The campsites for tent camping were nice and secluded. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of hot showers, pool, and hot tub after a long day of hiking. Everyone at the camp was incredibly friendly. Great place to stay for access to all the good hikes on East Glacier. We would love to stay there next time we come to Glacier.

Great cabin, very nice staff, usefull grill / store in the calpground, super quiet. Kids loved the pool / jacuzzi. Best location very near East entrance. Only downside is 2 beds in the mezzanine ceiling was very low and when walking very noisy but not a big issue

One night stay while visiting Glacier National Park. Sites are close together and expensive but the campground is close to the east side activities there. Be careful, watch your kids and pets as there is no speed limit in the campground and a number of vehicles were constantly going back and forth at excessive speed.

Great staff to escort you to your site. I accidentally booked the wrong type of site and the staff quickly changed our site to accommodate us. Peaceful campground with everything you’d need.

Great campground, but, no wifi or individual sewer hookup. The electrical and water are on the wrong side of all rv’s. Great laundry and showers.

No wi-fi even though it said it did when we booked. The grounds were poorly maintained. Had to ask to have our site mowed. Tall weeds everywhere. This KOA has potential if they did better ground maintenance. Limited services in St Mary’s.

Loved the stay at the cabin. We only had one slight issue and that was the refrigerator was set too cold and it froze our fruit and exploded a can of soda in it. Most of the help seemed to be foreigners with limited English and sometimes talking to them was difficult.

This is a well run KOA with many hidden gems. A trail to the lake offers kayaks for use, a Nature Trail around the river front, dog park area along with the normal pool, playground. The tent spots are secluded in a treed area, quite shady and nice. Enjoyed our stay!

This was my first KOA stay and I was really surprised. The staff was very friendly, the cabin was perfect base camp to explore the national park, and check in/out was very simple and easy.

The grass in our area was not cut, sewer was at the back of the site and up hill, very windy in our section and had to put slide outs in. Laundry room had five washing machines out of order and two dryers out of order. Wooden deck going to laundry needs repairs. There was no WiFi at the campground. Campground was quiet and located within a mile from the east entrance to Glacier National Park.

On check in, we were placed next to a family with dogs that were just left out without leases. Husband requested another site. We were informed we should 'control our dogs' when we said we were worried. We were allowed to change, but they kept interrupting the fix by helping another customer. The 10pm noise curfew wasn't followed. The 7am noise curfew wasn't followed. Not likely to stay again.

Fantastic experience! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The manager even made a set of steps for us since the RV steps were quite high. We will return. Our family had a super time.

Campground was exceptionally clean and well maintained, as was my cabin. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location allows for easy access to multiple entrances of Glacier NP. Other than having to take a short walk to the bathrooms, this cabin was honestly preferable to my experience in budget hotels on this trip. I've had mixed experiences with KOA's, but would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The park and location were very nice. My wife enjoys driving around and exploring new campgrounds. While doing so, she drove a little too far past a “do not enter” sign and was firmly reprimanded by an older employee. I had to stop using the hot tub. To many kids jumping in, splashing, and even eating while in the tub. One kid had Cheetos all over his hands and washed them off in the hot tub.

Great location with easy access to St. Mary and Glacier. Sites were average in size, mostly level, gravel based. Laundry and store were nice. Internet was down for the entire stay. Fortunately ATT had decent coverage and speed for basic access.

The cabins are great, perfect for 2 adults. Food at the main office was tasty and filling. The only limiting factor was the bathroom/shower. With all of the cabins full and all of the neighboring RV slots full, the wait to use the bathroom was occasionally over 20 minutes and the wait for a shower was consistently over 30 minutes. Getting up at 05:30AM still faced a line. New bathrooms please!

Great location! Easy access to Glacier, no timed entry needed on the East. Red Bus tour pickup and drop off site. Quiet, no road noise. Friendly efficient staff. Need to enforce campers to clean up after their dogs

We had a great time staying at the St. Mary's KOA access to the park was very convenient even though it was Early in the camping season and not a lot of the park is open yet we still had a great time staying at the KOA. The campground is well kept a very clean and the staff is awesome.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Views are fantastic! Not crowded when we were there, but we arrived on opening day in May. It started filling up that weekend.

We stayed at the St. Mary's East Glacier KOA Holiday in August 2025, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The location was absolutely gorgeous and made getting into Glacier National Park each day incredibly easy. It was simple to get into and out of our spot, and hooking up our RV was quick and hassle‑free. The Wi‑Fi was excellent, and the staff was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The entire campground was very clean, well kept, and beautifully maintained. It's a stunning place, and we would definitely visit again.
