The staff were friendly and bathrooms were nice. However, the campsite was extremely rocky and we could not get our stakes into the ground. The stakes were sticking half way out of the ground. We had to use large rocks to hammer the stakes down and a lot of them ended up bent because of this. I will not be returning to this campground.

Beautiful new tent sight that even had the RVs jellies. The pad was flat and dry with some shade perfect even in the rain. Location was quit enough off the beaten path but close to everything you wanted or needed. The staff was expert at finding all the best deals and sites in the area. Great spot for kids and family’s.

Every inch of site 55 was unlevel its listed as tent trailer capable however with water in the middle if the site, the unlevel ground, and the placement of the trees it made set up very difficult. Allowing a very large group of people to check in and start setting up at 10:30pm woke my child up and they continued their set up well past 11pm. I do not believe we will ever visit this koa again.

As always, it was a great 5 days. Staff is excellent. Yearly updates are noticed. I would recommend an exit sign with arrow so people stop having to turn around at the clamped sites.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! Check-in and out was super easy. We stayed on a tent site, and the only bad part about it was the site was nothing but mud. (Nothing much to be done about that, but a lot of our stuff was muddy when we left.) The wood/ice delivery was a great feature, as was the texting option. The bathrooms and showers were amazingly clean. I would 100% stay here again!

We loved it here! The park was full but quiet. Hot showers were great. The kids liked playing mini golf and carpet all and tetherball. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again.

All tent site was completely covered in mud and huge puddles of water! 2nd the bathrooms were never really that clean their was mayflies dead everywhere inside. Lastly we decided to leave early because the mud was only getting worse and was hoping to get a refund for my last day and was offered 10% on my whole stay at check in and did not get that or a refund for the last day because of mud

It’s a very nice park, clean store and restrooms and the grounds kept nice and tidy. It would be better if there were tent sites away from the RV sites for tent campers who don’t wish to be bothered br RV lights and generators, as well as the disruptions to a peaceful stay by “party RVs.”

When we arrived at our site it was raining and the last campers had left the grass all torn up leaving huge mud ruts which filled up with rain, flooding the entire site. I asked the maintenance people for scrap plywood or cardboard just to make a walking path but they said they don’t do that. We had to leave a day earlier because the site was no longer usable and I was not offered a refund.

We stayed two nights. The showers were great, clean. The whole campground was kept up and orderly. The staff were friendly and helpful and loved that we could purchase our tickets to Mackinac Island right there and a shuttle picked us up took us to the ferry and brought us back. Totally stress free. Can’t recommend this campground enough. Stay if you’re in the area!

Campground amenities were great! It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But- We stayed in tent sites and it was extremely mucky and wet- made camping difficult. Overall a great experience though!

We have been coming up to this area for over 30 years on memorial weekend and this is the first time staying here and we loved it. Not too many places will deliver wood and ice right to your campsite when you need it. They were very accommodating and the staff was excellent. We will be back.

We loved it here! Everything was perfect! The lady running the KOA was very nice, informative and so helpful! So easy. She also got our tickets set up for the ferry to the Island. Thank you!

Nice campground but bathrooms were not being cleaned during our stay. Example….the same wad of hair was in the corner of the shower for several days in a row. And dead mosquitoes were in the sink area for days. Staff was very helpful and friendly, letting us transfer on the last day of our stay from a tent site to a cabin. Maybe a staffing issue due to end of season approaching.

VERY nice campground!! The patio sites are extra awesome! So great to have a charcoal grill! Lots of dog space! Excellent laundry facilities! Rhonda, Olivia and the guys were super accommodating! We WILL be back!!!!

Stayed in our camper, staff was super accommodating and friendly. They even allowed us to switch sites when we arrived to an area that was less crowded (we were early in the season) and the space was available. Firewood was delivered promptly, the space was clean, it was SUPER QUIET, and my only regret was not getting a site that had the concrete patio pad because those spots have a nice bit of space behind them which is great if you have dogs. The only downside to this site, and this is really a note for potential future improvement, would be a bigger dog park so larger breeds can truly run their energy out. The dog park is a tad on the small side, but otherwise, a great stay at this KOA.
