Would be 5 star, but when I need to pull our 50 amp extension cord and 15 extra feet of stinky slinky, hookup was problematic. Otherwise nice campground for visiting.

Lovely campground and one of the best KOA's we have stayed at. Spacious campsites and very helpful friendly staff. Many offerings for children and adults to play- miniature golf, giant inflated bounce cushion, swings, games inside. They have an excellent WiFi mesh network throughout the campground. Free shuttles will pick you up from the Mackinac Island ferries.

The staff was outstanding. Answered all of our questions and helped us to figure out our trip to the island and gave us suggestions of other sites to visit. Thank you so much.

Great camp ground. Very friendly staff. If you need something form them i.e. firewood. You can walk to the office or call/text and they will deliver it to your site. I texted them when we were in town and when we retuned to our site the wood was there.

The campground and staff are great, and cabin was very clean. One thing to know is that if you rent a cabin and intend to use their wifi, realize that if there are lots of other campers the wifi will be slow unless you have your own hotspot. And if you book DK 1, it is REALLY small...and I mean SMALL inside. If you like a bit of space, select a deluxe cabin for sure. Otherwise fantastic!

The campground is very nice. It is a couple of miles from port. They have a nice store and can sell the ferry tickets right there. The ferry company will pick you up at the campground for a trip to Mackinac Island. There are a couple of places to eat near the campground.

Our campsite was well maintained and groomed, and well spaced. The bathrooms and showers were up-to-date, clean, and waarm. Very nice laundry. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff that assisted us with tour tickets and shuttles. Everyone was freindly. This is our favorite campground in the area.

The campground was clean and well maintained. There was still some early season construction going on. It is a great place to stay as long as you aren’t looking for amenities like a pool or beach.

Really nice park. Sites were level and the hookups were in great shape. The lady at check-in was outstanding. She was very friendly and helpful. My only negative was the park didn't offer propane and it seemed odd considering the type of weather they get. Still a very nice park and I definitely recommend.

We only needed a place to sleep for the night, so we arrived late and left early. But check in was easy, the rustic cabin was nice and comfortable. Bathrooms were close and clean. We'll definitely stay again!

Our check in was super easy and Rhonda was very helpful and informative. We stayed the first week they were open so it was super quiet and peaceful. The Wi-Fi, water, electricity and sewer worked perfectly. Our site was freshly coated with nice crushed stone. The Putt-Putt golf looks like fun but we did not try it. Laundry room was very clean and tidy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Amenities offered at this KOA include: • Basketball • Cornhole (Bags) • Ferry tickets to Mackinac Island • Free shuttle to ferry companies • Free shuttle to the casino • Game room ($) • Large Connect-Four • Laundry (paid) • Mighty Mack Snack Shack • Mini golf • Playgrounds • Firewood for sale • Volleyball Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this KOA. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
